Abstract

Procedimiento de obtención de 17{be}-(n-terc-butilcarbamoil)-3- ona-4-aza-esteroides. Los 17{be}-(N-terc-butilcarbamoil)3-ona-4- aza-esteroides (I) pueden obtenerse mediante un procedimiento que comprende hacer reaccionar un 17{be}-(alcoxicarbonil)-3-ona-4- azaesteroide con un terc-butilamiduro de litio en un disolvente orgánico. Algunos compuestos de fórmula (I), por ejemplo, la finasterida, son útiles como inhibidores de la 5{al}-reductasa, y pueden ser utilizados en el tratamiento de la hiperplasia prostática benigna y la alopecia.
