Abstract

Medidor de espesor y elasticidad del panículo adiposo. Consiste en un cabezal sensor utilizado para la cuantificación y caracterización del espesor de grasa. Integra un transductor de ultrasonidos y un sensor de fuerza o presión. El valor de presión se utiliza para estimar y corregir la deformación producida al situar el cabezal sobre la piel. La relación existente entre la presión y la deformación establece el grado de elasticidad del tejido adiposo. El sistema consta de la epidermis (1), el panículo adiposo (2) y otros tejidos del sujeto (3 y 4); el cabezal sensor (5); un circuito de acondicionamiento y adquisición de la señal (6); y un subsistema de cálculo (7) que determina el espesor y elasticidad del panículo adiposo. El cabezal sensor consta de un transductor de ultrasonidos (5.1), un sensor de presión o fuerza (5.2 y 5.2a), elementos de protección para el sensor de presión (5.3 y 5.3a), una cápsula hermética y flexible (5.4), el cuerpo del cabezal (5.5), canales de paso de conductores (5.6) y el elemento de transmisión de presión o fuerza (5.3).Adhesive panicle thickness and elasticity meter. The sensor head consists of an ultrasonic transducer (5.1), a pressure or force sensor (5.2 and 5.2a), protective elements for the pressure sensor (5.3 and 5.3a), a hermetic and flexible capsule (5.4), the head body (5.5), conductor passage channels (5.6) and the pressure or force transmission element (5.3).
