Abstract

Procedure for recovering car and truck tyres and industrial vulcanised indiarubber products and transforming them into objects for industrial use and application which comprises: Recover and store the aforementioned products and objects such as tyres and classify them by size and internal structure. Submit such projects to cleaning before treatment, preferable by water jet and then leave them to dry in the open air for at least one day. Cut the objects up with either straight or rounded cuts. Crush and grind the cut-up objects in hammer crusher machines whose axis spins at at least 20 revolutions per minute. The ground product is moved on belts and stored in silos. The stored product is put and shaped into moulds at a temperature of at least 200 degrees C and under pressure of at least 50kg/cm<2>, obtaining geometric shapes and sizes appropriate for its later industrial use.The recuperation of e.g. heavy goods vehicle tires for industrial use comprises grading according to size and structure cleaning with water, drying for at least one day in the open air, and subdivision by circumferential and rectilinear cutting. Grinding in a 20 or so rpm hammer mill is followed by conveying to a silo. Molding at 200 degrees C or higher and at least 50 kg/cm2> produces industrial components.
