EL PROCEDIMIENTO COMPRENDE BASICAMENTE LAS ETAPAS DE: A) RETOSTAR PREVIAMENTE LAS CENIZAS DE PIRITAS; B) LIXIVIAR LAS CENIZAS RETOSTADAS EN CONDICIONES ACIDAS PARA RECUPERAR EL CU Y EL ZN; C) LAVAR LOS RESIDUOS LIXIVIADOS; D) PREAIREAR Y ALCALINIZAR DICHO RESIDUO, E) CIANURAR EL RESIDUO DE LA ETAPA D); LA RETOSTACION PUEDE EFECTUARSE CON O SIN ADICION DE PIRITA A UNA TA DE 500-600GC DURANTE 0,5-24 HORAS. SEGUN ESTE PROCEDIMIENTO SE PUEDEN REALIZAR EXTRACCIONES DE CU Y ZN DEL 80-90%, DE AU DEL 80-85%, Y DE APROXIMADAMENTE EL 50% DE AG.
