Abstract

The drinker valve comprises a tubular body (1), tapered outlet (2), internal shoulder (3) with a circular recess (4) housing a lipped washer (5,6) engaging the lower face of a resilient gasket (8) located on the shoulder. The gasket has an internal shoulder (9) against which the head (10) of a push rod (11) forms a seal. A second gasket (12), of greater resilience mounted against the top face of the first gasket, has a concave bevel top edge (13) and matching sealing ball (14). A top cover (15), with a narrow passage and throat (16,17) forming a connection to the drinking bowl, houses a gasket (18) in a bush (20) of the valve connected to the water supply line.
