Abstract

Corrector for controlling ferric chlorosis and improving physiological processes involving iron and magnesium in crops, consists of a mixt. of hydrated sulphates and has typical analysis of magnesium 15.3 %, total iron 8.1 %, Fe (II) 6.5 %, Fe (III) 1.6 % and manganese 0.6 %. It is made by mixing 35-55 % by-prod. from titanium di:oxide prodn. by the sulphate process, 30-60 % alkaline earth carbonate or magnesite, 5-20 % lignite or manure and 10-40 % sulphuric acid (52 %). The mixt. is milled, granulated, dried and sieved
