Abstract
METODO PARA LA PRODUCCION DE DIOXIDO DE URANIO SINTERIZADO. COMPRENDE FORMAR UNA MEZCLA DE MONOCRISTALES DE DIOXIDO DE URANIO Y POLVO DE DIOXIDO DE URANIO. A PARTIR DE LOS GRANULOS DE LA MEZCLA SE FORMAN COMPACTOS, LOS CUALES SON SINTERIZADOS EN DIOXIDO DE CARBONO Y POSTERIORMENTE REDUCIDOS EN UN AMBIENTE DE HIDROGENO A UNA TEMPERATURA SUSTANCIALMENTE MENOR QUE LA TEMPERATURA DE SINTERIZADO. LA CANTIDAD DE LOS MONOCRISTALES SE ELIGE DE MANERA QUE EL EXCESIVO CRECIMIENTO DE GRANO QUEDA INHIBIDO EN LOS COMPACTOS DURANTE EL SINTERIZADO.
