Abstract

The watch comprises two coaxial multipolar motors, located at the centre, the rotor (4) of one motor being mounted on a shaft (13) which carries a seconds hand (17) and the rotor (5) of the other motor being mounted on the cannon (12b) of a cannon-pinion (12) with the shaft (13) passing through it. The cannon (12b) carries a minutes hand (18). The pinion (12) drives the wheel (14) of a reducing-gear runner whose pinion (15) is in engagement with a wheel (16) mounted rotatably on the cannon (12b) and which carries an hours hand (19). The windings (8 and 9) of the two motors are diametrically opposed. The driving of the seconds (17) and minutes (18) hands is direct in that these hands are integral with the rotors (4 and 5), respectively, which drive them. <IMAGE>
