THE SHEET FRACTION, WITH LITTLE OR NO ADDITIONAL REDUCTION OF THE PARTICLE SIZE, MAY BE SUPPLIED TO A CIGARETTE MAKING MACHINE. THE STEM FRACTION MAY BE DISCARDED OR PROCESSED ACCORDING TO CONVENTIONAL METHODS (FIG. 1).
