Abstract

Procedure for decorating cosmetics, and decorated cosmetic articles so obtained. Both greasy solids and compacted powders are decorated, using thin metal templates having a perforation with the form of the design which it is desired to obtain. In the case of greasy solid cosmetics, the decorative mixture is first introduced and then the cosmetic mixture is poured, the decoration being embedded in the moulded cosmetic body. In the case of compacted powders the cosmetic powder is moulded by compression, and then, with insertion of the template, the decorative powder is introduced by compression, being thus embedded in the compact cosmetic body.
