Abstract
In order to provide a doll which simulates the action of sucking with its mouth 2 on a feeding bottle 3 or on a finger 4a configured on its hand 4, there is a drive device 5 with an electric micromotor 6 for moving the mouth 2, simulating the action of sucking, and a phonograph 7 with an electric micromotor 8, an electrical energy source 9 also being provided for said micromotors 6 and 8. In addition, close to the mouth 2 are magnetic switches 10 and 11 which can be actuated by means of permanent magnets 12 and 13 provided, respectively, in the feeding bottle 3 and in the hand 4 of the doll, which switches are interposed in parallel in the supply circuit of the micromotor 6, provision also being made for an electronic control circuit 14 for supplying voltage, for a predetermined time, to the micromotor 8 of the phonograph 7, provided the switches 10 and 11 are simultaneously open, and which remains in a non- conducting condition, i.e. without applying voltage to the micromotor 8 while at least one of the switches 10 and 11 is closed, i.e. in a conducting condition.
