Abstract

A casting tube for a sliding closure device formed of a tube plate (2) and of a tubular element (4) made of different refractory materials is tighter when the tube plate (2) has a perfectly planar upper face on which bears a perfectly planar upper face of a clamp plate (11) which is integral with the tubular element (4). The clamp plate (11) and the plate of a sliding tube (2) are enclosed in a hooping ring (16).
