METODO PARA PRODUCIR CUERPOS DE INCLUSION POLIHEDRICA DE COMPOSICION MEZCLADA (PIB), PARA COINFECTAR INSECTOS HUESPEDES Y PARA PRODUCIR HETEROLOGAS EN INSECTOS. LOS PIB, CONTENIENDO UNA MEZCLA DE NUCLEOCAPSIDOS DE POR LO MENOS DOS BACULOVIRUS GENETICAMENTE DISTINTOS, SE OBTIENEN INFECTANDO UN CULTIVO CELULAR DE CELULAS QUE TOLERAN EL BACULOVIRUS CON LA FORMA NO OCLUIDA DE LOS BACULOVIRUS GENETICAMENTE DISTINTOS Y CULTIVANDO LAS CELULAS INFECTADAS, O BIEN INFECTANDO UN INSECTO CON LOS BACULOVIRUS GENETICAMENTE DISTINTOS. LA COINFECCION DEL INSECTO HUESPED SE EFECTUA PERMITIENDO QUE EL INSECTO INGIERA UNA CANTIDAD EFICAZ DEL PIB LO QUE ORIGINA UNA INFECCION VIRICA MIXTA EN EL MISMO. DESARROLLANDO EL INSECTO O CELULAS EN CONDICIONES ADECUADAS QUE PERMITAN LA REPLICACION VIRICA, SE CONSIGUE LA PRODUCCION DE PROTEINAS HETEROLOGAS CODIFICADAS POR EL GEN HETEROLOGO PRESENTE EN UNO DE LOS BACULOVIRUS. APLICACION EN INGENIERIA GENETICA PARA LA SINTESIS DE PROTEINAS HETEROLOGAS EN CELULAS DE INSECTOS.
