Abstract

The cantilever arm (1) of a manipulator for placing a pouring spout and channel (7) on the outlet slide of a casting ladle carries at its free end a receiving ring (3), held pivotably in a fork (2), for the insertion of the pouring spout and channel (7), in the shell of which there is provided a through opening (11) connectable via a connection piece to an inert-gas line (8). In order to avoid separate connection pieces, the receiving ring (3) of the cantilever arm (1) forms the connection piece and has a connecting passage (9) between the inert-gas line (8) and the through opening (11) in the shell of the pouring spout and channel (7).
