PERMITE LA OBTENCION DE BLOQUES DENSOS, DE ALTA RESISTENCIA MECANICA E INERTES QUIMICAMENTE, CUYA CAPACIDAD CALORIFICA LOS HACE ADECUADOS PARA SU USO COMO ACUMULADORES DE CALOR, PARTICULARMENTE EN ACUMULADORES ELECTRICOS DE TARIFA NOCTURA. LAS VENTAJAS PRINCIPALES DE ESTE PROCEDIMIENTO SON LA REUTILIZACION DE UN RESIDUO ALTAMENTE CONTAMINANTE (BARROS ROJOS DEL PROCESO BAYER) PARA LA OBTENCION DE ACUMULADORES DE CARACTERISTICAS TERMICAS SIMILARES A LAS DE LOS MATERIALES EXISTENTES EN EL MERCADO.
