Abstract

Procedure for obtaining a cerate applicable as a dermatological cream for topical use, which consists in mixing 400 grams of greater celandine (Chelidonium majus) 1, 500 grams of ribwort plantain (Plantago lanceolata) 2 and 220 grams of milfoil (Achillea millefolium) 3, all ground, which are incorporated into 45 litres of olive oil, which, when macerated and filtered, are mixed with 14 kilograms of virgin wax and with a litre of benzoin tincture (Styrax benzoin) and 2 litres of propolis tincture, the mixing and homogenization being carried out in single- or double-jacketed vats fitted with thermostats and stirrers, with the temperature not exceeding 60 degree C at any time.
