EN ESTE PROCEDIMIENTO EL GAS PROVENIENTE DE LAS INSTALACIONES DE COMBUSTION, ES SOMETIDO A UNA DEPURACION, QUE CONSTA DE LOS SIGUIENTES PASOS DE PROCEDIMIENTO: A) DESPOLVOREO, ASI COMO LA SEPARACION DE NH3 Y HCN POR MEDIO DEL LAVADO DE AGUA EN CIRCUITO CERRADO, A UNA PRESION ELEVADA Y A UNA TEMPERATURA ELEVADA, B) HIDROLISIS CATALITICA DE COS, Y C) LAVADO DE H2S. AL FINALIZAR EL PURIFICADO DEL GAS, PUEDE UTILIZARSE COMO GAS COMBUSTIBLE PARA TURBINAS A GAS EN UNA CENTRAL TERMICA. EL HIDROGENURO DE AZUFRE SEPARADO DEL GAS EN LA PURIFICACION, ES ELABORADO BIEN EN AZUFRE ELEMENTAL, O BIEN EN ACIDO SULFURICO, MIENTRAS QUE LOS COMPUESTOS DE NITROGENO SEPARADOS, SON DESCOMPUESTOS CATALITICAMENTE.
