SE DESCRIBE UN PROCESO DE RECICLAJE DE CENIZAS RESIDUALES DE ELECTROFILTRO, DE ORIGEN INDUSTRIAL, MEDIANTE UN PROCESO VITROCERAMICO CLASICO. CONSISTE EN MEZCLAR LA CENIZA RESIDUAL CON CASCO DE VIDRIO DOMESTICO DESECHABLE. LA MEZCLA SE SOMETE A UN PRIMER TRATAMIENTO TERMICO, DEL QUE RESULTA UN VIDRIO DE ACABADO IRIDISCENTE. DICHO VIDRIO SE TRATA NUEVAMENTE, POR UN PROCESO DE CRISTALIZACION CONTROLADA, OBTENIENDOSE ASI EL VITROCERAMICO FINAL. TANTO EL VIDRIO COMO EL VITROCERAMICO SON POTENCIALMENTE COMERCIALIZABLES. EL PROCESO DESCRITO PERMITE REUTILIZAR DOS RESIDUOS: LA CENIZA Y EL VIDRIO DOMESTICO, Y SUPONE LA VENTAJA ADICIONAL DE RECICLAR UN PRODUCTO (LA CENIZA) POTENCIALMENTE CONTAMINANTE, POR SU RIQUEZA EN METALES PESADOS.A PROCESS OF RECYCLING OF RESIDUAL ASHES OF ELECTROFILTER, OF INDUSTRIAL ORIGIN, IS DESCRIBED THROUGH A CLASSIC VITROCERAMIC PROCESS. IT CONSISTS OF MIXING THE RESIDUAL ASH WITH A DISPOSABLE HOUSEHOLD GLASS HELMET. THE MIXTURE IS SUBJECT TO A FIRST HEAT TREATMENT, WHICH RESULTS AN IRIDISCENT FINISHED GLASS. SAID GLASS IS TREATED AGAIN, BY A CONTROLLED CRYSTALLIZATION PROCESS, OBTAINING IN THIS WAY THE FINAL VITROCERAMIC. BOTH THE GLASS AND THE GLASS ARE POTENTIALLY COMMERCIALIZABLE. THE DESCRIBED PROCESS ALLOWS THE REUSE OF TWO WASTE: ASH AND HOUSEHOLD GLASS, AND PROVIDES THE ADDITIONAL ADVANTAGE OF RECYCLING A PRODUCT (ASH) POTENTIALLY CONTAMINATING, FOR ITS WEALTH IN HEAVY METALS.
