Abstract
System to grip thread cutting heads on threaders, characterised in that in accordance with the same the base body (of the adapter or, as appropriate, of the head of the machine), provided with a standard polygonal axial orifice, has at the front a recess in which are mounted tractor means which tend towards maintaining in an operating locked position a diaphragm mounted on the front of said base body with the ability to rotate, and also provided with a polygonal axial orifice combinable with the foregoing one in an unlocked position through the action of a manually-actuated tongue, said diaphragm being housed, due to the shape of its polygonal orifice, in a perimetrical throat externally defined in the threading die and locking or freeing this latter from the base body as a function of its angular position. Of application in portable machines, capable of working with tools of various sizes.
