Abstract
Process characterized in that, in an indirect evaporator- type cooler, the flow of air it is desired to cool and dehumidify is supplied together with an absorbent liquid, the cooler also receiving another intake of air which corresponds to a fraction of the cooled and dehumidified air flow exiting the exchanger, together with water, the system facilitating, by means of the regulation of the flow of regenerated air or the regulation of the concentration of the absorbent, the control of temperature and/or humidity of the treated air. The process allows, for the regeneration of the absorbent, a use of the heat from the ambient air by means of an evaporation that is direct or with indirect supply of heat, it also being possible to use the moist air discharged from the heat exchanger as a heat source.
