EL MATERIAL ACTIVO SE ENCUENTRA PRESENTE EN UNA CANTIDAD DEL 5 AL 50%, PREFERENTEMENTE DEL 8 AL 30%, Y EN PARTICULAR DEL 12 AL 25% EN PESO. TIENE UN POLVO FIJADOR DE ACIDO DE ENTRE 2 Y 40, PREFERENTEMENTE 3,5 A 25 MEQ/G, NO REACCIONA CON EL ACIDO DEL SISTEMA EFERVESCENTE Y ELEVA EL VALOR DEL PH EN 0,1 N HCL DURANTE 2 MIN. HASTA UN MAXIMO DE 0,5. CONSISTE EN PARTICULAR EN TRISILICATO DE MAGNESIO, SUCRALFATO Y/O UNA SAL DE BISMUTO. CADA GRANULO CONTIENE AL MENOS UN COMPONENTE ACIDO, AL MENOS UN COMPONENTE DE CARBONATO Y AL MENOS UN MATERIAL ACTIVO ENLAZADO A OTRO.
