Abstract

The bands 4a are cut transversely by a cutter 9a precisely at the height of the gathering 7, in order to form the fragments 11 which are folded in order to obtain the absorbent pads which are stored in compartments 13. The process makes it possible to form the absorbent pads continuously and with the use of a single machine.
