Abstract

The installation comprises feed tank (1), exterior cone (5) with overflow channel (6) near the top, interior cone (4) mounted inside cone (5), gravity feed pipe (2) entering cone (5) about half way up and discharging into core (4), inlet pipe (3) for additives and outlet pipes (10, 11) from cones (5, 4) resp. for recirculating part of the solids to the feed pipe by means of pump (7) or discharging through drain pipe (8).
