LA PRESENTE INVENCION SE REFIERE A UN METODO PARA ACTIVAR MATERIAL LIGNOCELULOSICO ACUOSO CON UN GAS QUE CONTIENE OXIDO DE NITROGENO, SEGUIDO POR UNA ETAPA DE DESLIGNIFICACION CON OBJETO DE OBTENER UN PRODUCTO FINAL DE GRAN CALIDAD SIN, O SOLO CON UN PEQUEÑO EFECTO SOBRE EL ENTORNO. DE ACUERDO CON EL METODO DE LA INVENCION, EL MATERIAL LIGNOCELULOSICO SE PONE EN CONTACTO CON UN GAS QUE CONTIENE OXIGENO, Y EL GAS ACTIVANTE SE SEPARA DEL MATERIAL LIGNOCELULOSICO DURANTE Y/O DESPUES DEL PROCESO ACTIVANTE. EL METODO SE CARACTERIZA POR CONTROLAR EL SUMINISTRO DE GAS QUE CONTIENE OXIGENO, DE MODO QUE EL GAS SEPARADO CONTIENE POR LO MENOS 2 KG DE OXIDO DE NITROGENO CALCULADO SOBRE 1000 KG DE MATERIAL LIGNOCELULOSICO SECO, Y POR HACER REACCIONAR EL GAS SEPARADO EN UNA O MAS ETAPAS CON DISOLUCION ABSORBENTE CUYO PH ORIGINAL ESTA EN EL INTERVALO DE 3-13,5, Y PASAR EL GAS PURIFICADO, CON AYUDA DE LA DISOLUCION ABSORBENTE, A LA ATMOSFERA, O A UNA PLANTA DE DESTRUCCION, OPCIONALMENTE POSTERIOR A LA PURIFICACION DEL GAS.
