Abstract

Confectionery product and production method, consisting of the preparation of a continuous strand of product made of chewing gum or soft toffee, with a filling inside, consisting of liquid that turns solid in a short space of time. The method used allows individual units to be obtained by cutting the strand of product. In each one of these units, the filling is visible on the surfaces determined by the area of the cut.The sweet is made by forming a continuous hollow cord of e.g. soft caramel and filling it with a liquid prod. which gels in a reduced time. Individual sweets are made by cutting off sections which display the filling on the exposed surfaces.
