Abstract
System for forming and placing a closing operculum in containers. It consists in initially die-cutting the pieces (3) in the appropriate sizes and shapes, according to those of the mouth of the container E to which it is to be applied. The pieces (3) are subjected, either during the die-cutting phase or in a subsequent phase, to a pressing process in order to shape them in the form of a float chamber, with protruding tab (7) in its mouth, forming along its walls (6) pre-cut lines (9), with small dashed dots (10). Then, the float chamber-operculum (3) is placed in the mouth of container E and inserted into it using a matrix (11) equipped with heating elements so as to obtain the heat-welding of the operculum (3) to the edges of the mouth and walls of the container and the separation of the bottom of the float chamber-operculum (3) from the rest of the matter heat-welded to the edges of the mouth of container E.
