LA SOLUCION DE LAVADO CON UN PUNTO DE EBULLICION EN PRESION ATMOSFERICA SUPERIOR A LOS 100 C, SIRVE PARA EL LAVADO DE GASES EN TEMPERATURAS ENTRE 5 Y 70 C, QUE LA DEJA CARGADA, COMO MINIMO, DE CO2 Y H2S. PARA SU REGENERACION, LA SOLUCION CARGADA SE PONE A UNA PRESION DE AL MENOS 2 AT Y UNA TEMPERATURA DE 60 C, Y SE CONDUCE A UNA ZONA DE DISTENSION DONDE SE DESTIENDE. EN EL PROCESO DE DISTENSION SE LE EXTRAE UN GAS DE DISTENSION RICO EN H2S. TRAS LA DISTENSION, LA SOLUCION DE LAVADO SE SOMETE A UNA REGENERACION EN CALOR QUE CONSISTE EN UN TRATAMIENTO CON GAS INERTE A UNA TEMPERATURA POCO INFERIOR AL PUNTO DE EBULLICION DE LA SOLUCION. EN ESTE PROCESO SE EXTRAE EL RESTO DE LA CARGA. DE LA REGENERACION EN CALOR SE OBTIENE UNA MEZCLA DE GASES CON GASES INERTES, QUE SE AISLA Y SE PONE EN CONTACTO CON LA SOLUCION DE LAVADO.
