PROCEDIMIENTO PARA LA ELIMINACION BIOLOGICA DE DERIVADOS NITRADOS. LA ELIMINACION DE 2,4-DNT, 2,6-DNT Y TNT CONTENIDOS EN EFLUENTES INDUSTRIALES, AGUAS Y SUELOS CONTAMINADOS POR DICHOS COMPUESTOS PUEDE REALIZARSE DE MANERA BIOLOGICA INOCULANDO LOS EFLUENTES Y SUELOS A TRATAR CON UN CULTIVO DE MICROORGANISMOS CAPACES DE DEGRADAR 2,4-DNT, 2,6-DNT Y TNT. SE HAN AISLADO Y CARACTERIZADO BACTERIAS PERTENECIENTES AL GENERO PSEUDOMONAS QUE SON CAPACES DE UTILIZAR DICHOS COMPUESTOS COMO FUENTE DE C Y/O N PROVOCANDO DE ESTA MANERA SU ELIMINACION. ESTE PROCEDIMIENTO PUEDE APLICARSE EN LA ELIMINACION DE 2,4-DNT, 2,6-DNT Y TNT CONTENIDOS EN EFLUENTES INDUSTRIALES, AGUAS Y SUELOS CONTAMINADOS, ASI COMO EN LA DESTRUCCION DE EXCEDENTES DE TNT DE ARSENALES Y FABRICAS, APORTANDOSE DE ESTA MANERA UNA SOLUCION EFICAZ AL PROBLEMA MEDIOAMBIENTAL ASOCIADO CON EL TRATAMIENTO DE DICHOS PRODUCTOS CONTAMINANTES.
