Abstract

Advertising support, in particular for advertising plates (3) or identification medallions intended to be installed on towers or beverage dispensers, is characterized in that it is made up of three pieces; a housing box (1), an o-ring (2) and an advertising plate (3), wherein the housing box (1) has a discoidal configuration, including at least one fixing hole (4) to the tower or beverage dispenser in question, housing box (1) on whose front face a peripheral ring is defined whose inner edge has a "U" section, determining a peripheral groove (7) in which the o-ring (2) of an elastically deformable material is intended to fit, the advertising plate (3) having a circular configuration in front elevation, according to the internal diameter of the peripheral ring that is defined in the housing box (1), in which it is intended to fit by elastic deformation of the o-ring (2).

TECHNICAL SECTOR

The present invention relates to a support for advertising plaques, in particular for identification medallions, preferably intended to be installed on towers or beverage dispensers, although it is applicable on any surface where similar performance is required.

The support allows for a firm and stable fixing of the plaque without the need for tools or adhesives, also facilitating its assembly, disassembly and replacement with another medallion with a different type of ornamentation.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

In the hospitality sector, it is common to use beverage dispensers and towers that incorporate plates with the brand image or product identification.

These plates can be translucent, when illumination is desired, or opaque in simpler applications.

Known fastening systems have several drawbacks:

They require small, specific tools that are cumbersome and easily lost;

• They use adhesives, which depend on surface cleanliness and make repositioning difficult;

• They create alignment and replacement problems, making the process more expensive.

EXPLANATION OF THE INVENTION

The advertising medium being advocated fully and satisfactorily resolves the aforementioned problem, based on a simple but highly effective solution.

To this end, and more specifically, the support of the invention is made up of three fundamental pieces; a housing box, an O-ring and an advertising plate.

The housing will have a disc-shaped configuration, on the front face of which it includes a perimeter ring with a "U" section, determining a perimeter groove in which the O-ring is intended to fit.

The advertising plate will have a circular configuration in front elevation, and may have different configurations in profile, such as lenticular, so that when the advertising plate is inserted into the housing defined by the ring that includes the housing box, this seal is compressed laterally, deforming and exerting pressure on the plate to fix it stably without the need for additional fixing elements.

This also allows you to adjust the correct horizontality of the advertising panel as many times as necessary.

The housing box will include at least one hole, preferably two, for screwing it to the tower, pump or surface in question, prior to the installation of the corresponding advertising plate.

To facilitate the removal and replacement of the aforementioned advertising plate, the "U" profile of the perimeter ring will be punctuated by a small transverse recess, preferably semicircular, which defines a kind of fingernail that facilitates the removal of the plate using a pointed object.

In parallel, the housing includes one or more rear holes configured to allow the plate to be ejected by inserting a pushing object.

Regarding the nature of the advertising plate, it can be either opaque or translucent, allowing in the latter case its use in combination with internal lighting means, such as a diode powered electrically through a cable passing through one of the holes provided on the housing box.

Figure 1 shows a perspective and exploded view of an advertising support for towers or beverage dispensers made in accordance with the object of the present invention.

Figure 3 shows a profile and sectional view according to the cutting plane B-B shown in Figure 2.

Figure 4 shows, finally, an enlarged detail of Figure 3, specifically at the level of the seating area of the O-ring in the groove provided on the inner perimeter edge of the housing box.

PREFERRED EMBODIMENT OF THE INVENTION

In view of the figures described, and especially figure 1, it can be observed that the support that is advocated involves three main pieces:

• One accommodation box (1).

• An O-ring (2).

• An advertising plaque (3).

As previously stated, the housing box (1) has a discoidal configuration, and is intended to be attached to the beverage tower or dispenser in question by screwing or riveting, including for this purpose at least one fixing hole (4), preferably two, as shown in the figures.

On the front face of said housing box (1) a perimeter ring is defined whose inner edge has a "U" section, determining a perimeter groove (7) in which the O-ring (2) is intended to fit.

This O-ring (2) is made of an elastic material that guarantees the recovery of its shape after the insertion or removal of the plate (3).

At the same time, the advertising plate (3) will have a circular configuration in front elevation, according to the internal diameter of the perimeter ring that is defined in the housing box (1), in which it is intended to fit, so that this element can be cylindrical or can have other configurations in profile, such as the lenticular one clearly visible in figure 3.

In either case, when the advertising plate (3) is inserted into the housing box (1), the O-ring (2) will oppose this maneuver, forcing the seal to compress laterally, deforming and exerting pressure on the advertising plate (3) so that it is perfectly stabilized without any tools or adhesive, thus giving it an easily replaceable character when required, allowing the rest of the device structure to be used.

In this regard, to facilitate the removal of the advertising plate (3), the device includes two complementary solutions.

On the one hand, and as can be clearly seen in Figure 1, the "U" profile of the perimeter ring will be punctuated by a small semicircular transverse recess (6), which defines a kind of fingernail that facilitates the removal of the plate by means of a pointed object.

In case the use of the pointed object alone is not sufficient, the housing includes one or more rear holes (5) configured to allow the plate to be ejected by inserting a pushing object.

Finally, it only remains to point out that, as previously stated, the advertising plate may be either opaque or translucent, so that the housing box (1) may include lighting means for said plate.

1a.- Advertising support, in particular for advertising plates (3) or identification medallions intended to be installed on towers or beverage dispensers, is characterized in that it is made up of three pieces; a housing box (1), an o-ring (2) and an advertising plate (3), wherein the housing box (1) has a discoidal configuration, including at least one fixing hole (4) to the tower or beverage dispenser in question, housing box (1) on whose front face a peripheral ring is defined whose inner edge has a "U" section, determining a peripheral groove (7) in which the o-ring (2) of an elastically deformable material is intended to fit, the advertising plate (3) having a circular configuration in front elevation, according to the internal diameter of the peripheral ring that is defined in the housing box (1), in which it is intended to fit by elastic deformation of the o-ring (2). 2a.- Advertising support, according to claim 1a, wherein the "U" profile of the perimeter ring of the housing box (1) includes a semicircular transverse recess (6), which defines a kind of finger pull for the plate. 3a.- Advertising support, according to claim 1a, wherein the housing box (1) includes one or more rear holes (5) determining means for inserting push elements for the ejection of the advertising plate (3). 4a.- Advertising support, according to claim 1a, wherein the advertising plate (3) is of an opaque nature. 5a.- Advertising support, according to claim 1a, wherein the advertising plate (3) is of a translucent nature, including the housing box (1) internal lighting means.
