The present invention refers to a cardboard container that, although it has been initially intended for the marketing of detergent capsules, could also be applicable in other areas in which similar performance is required.

The object of the invention is to provide a container that has stable and safe closing means that prevent accidental opening of the container, and that require a non-intuitive maneuver that prevents children from accessing its contents.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

In the preferred scope of application of the invention, that of detergent capsules, these are supplied in plastic containers mainly due to the fact that this type of products can be very dangerous for children if they have access to them, so that this type of packaging includes opening means that require a certain skill that makes it unlikely that children will be able to open them.

However, the plastic nature of this type of packaging represents an obvious ecological problem, so marketing it in cardboard packaging would be the solution to this environmental problem.

EXPLANATION OF THE INVENTION

The cardboard packaging that is recommended completely satisfactorily solves the previously mentioned problem, based on a simple but effective solution.

For this, and more specifically, the packaging of the invention is constituted from the development of a sheet of die-cut cardboard with folding lines that define a rectangular prismatic container with a folding top lid on the upper edge of its rear wall, a lid that includes a perimeter skirt that affects its front edge and its side edges, so that, on the exterior face of the front wall of the container, two tabs are established that fold over said wall, constituting prominent elements that will determine the locking means for the box, the aforementioned flap of the lid presenting in correspondence with these elements a multi-layer structure in which a formal and dimensionally appropriate recess or recess is internally defined for said flanges, so that they fit into said recesses, so that said multi-layer structure includes an external wall that covers said recesses, These are hidden externally, except for a pair of holes intended to make way for the user's respective fingers in order to be able to press on the aforementioned tabs to unlock the lid.

In this way, to unlock the lid it is necessary to perform a simultaneous maneuver with both hands, specifically with separate fingers of both hands, preferably the thumbs, which must press on the aforementioned tabs so that they disengage from the notches on which they were locked. , so that once unlocked the lid can be tilted to access the contents inside.

Given the structure of the container, closing the lid by tilting it will cause an automatic locking of the lid, by refitting the tabs into the recesses of the box skirt due to their own tendency to unfold them, all of this through a quick, simple and automatic maneuver.

In this way, a cardboard container is achieved with opening means that are not intuitive for a child, achieving a safe, simple and perfectly functional container.

PREFERRED EMBODIMENT OF THE INVENTION

In view of the figures outlined, it can be seen how the container of the invention is constituted from the development of a die-cut cardboard sheet with folding lines, in which a rectangular sector determining the bottom (4) of the container is defined, from whose larger sides emerge two rectangular sectors determining the anterior (5) and posterior (3) larger lateral walls, extending the anterior lateral wall (5) into a rectangular sector (9) that folds over it internally, as shown. Figure 2, giving it a double-wall structure, with “U” notches on its upper edge that determine tabs (10) that fold outwards when assembling the container, determining the locking means of the lid, such as It will be explained later.

Thus, for the assembly of the main body of the lid of the bottom sides (4), larger front (5) and rear side walls (3), as well as the rectangular sector (9), two rectangular sectors will emerge (6,7 ,8,11) that are fixed together, forming the minor side walls of the container.

For its part, from the upper end of the rear larger side wall (3) emerges a rectangular sector determining the closing lid (1) which, as previously stated, will present a perimeter skirt that, when closed, externally embraces the the minor lateral walls and the anterior major lateral wall (5).

This skirt is obtained from a rectangular sector that emerges from the front edge of said cover (1), determining the front (13) of the skirt, and two trapezoidal sectors (2) that determine the side skirts of the cover, all of them extending in determining sectors of a double wall (12-15) that folds internally over the skirt, giving it greater robustness.

Well, in accordance with the essence of the invention, the double wall (15) that folds on the inside of the front (13) of the skirt, includes “U” cutouts (16), formally and dimensionally appropriate to the tabs (10) that emerge from the anterior larger lateral face (5) of the container, in order to determine cavities into which said tabs (10) fit.

To give greater depth to said recesses and so that the tabs (10) are therefore better blocked without the risk of accidental unlocking, it has been planned that end sectors (14) with "U" notches (16') emerge from the side edges of the skirt. ) that in the assembly of the skirt they are also aligned with the notches (16), increasing, as has been said, the depth of the accommodations that define them, in order for the tabs (10) by their own tendency to unfold, penetrate to the bottom of said accommodations.
