• the subject of the invention is a pallet for storing and transporting products in a form of rolls or bales, having a rectangular base made of steel profiles, where support structures are arranged on the base to support the bale.
• Pallets and platforms of various types are commonly used to transport and store high-volume products. Sometimes pallets have to be specially prepared for the transport of certain products, or a special type of pallet is used. Such products are heavy materials in the form of rolls or bales, such as rolls of steel sheet. Most often, steel sheet rolls are transported on prefabricated wheeled platforms that have permanently installed structures to fix and secure the rolls against movement. However, this solution is cumbersome if the rolls are transported in stages. It involves transferring the rolls from one vehicle to another (e.g. when transporting by rail, the rolls have to be reloaded from a flatcar onto a specially adapted truck to transport them to their destination).
