- a road ballast system with a base made of a non-rigid, elastic shock-absorbing material.
- the base has an upper surface and a lower surface spaced therefrom. At least one hole passes through the upper surface.
- a receiving plate made of rigid construction material is mounted below the upper surface of the base.
- a vertical sign post has a lower end mounted in a base hole which is furthermore rigidly connected to the receiving plate.
- the described base of the road ballast system has a complex multi-element structure.
- Publication EP 3 228 751 A1 of the application description of the invention titled "Support for e.g. road and traffic signs” discloses a base for a road sign or signpost.
- the base includes at least a first upper surface and a second lower surface and chamfers at both ends. Usable holes are made in the chamfers, the purpose of which is to provide means of carrying and handling.
- the base is additionally divided into at least two separate parts, a first part and a second part with a mounting surface. The first part and the second part of the base are complementary to each other, wherein the first part constitutes most of the second lower surface and the second part constitutes most of the first upper surface.

- Fig. 22 and Fig. 23 show in a top view and a front view yet another embodiment of a support 2201 which at both ends of the body has external hills 42, 242 identical to those described with reference to Figs. 1-9 .
- the additional external hill 242 of the support 2201 is arranged in such a way that it is a mirror image of the external hill 42, and between the internal hill 41 and the additional hill 242 is formed the external recess 32 with the shape and the dimensions corresponding to the shape and the dimensions of the inverted external hill 42.
- the stabilization set 50 comprising at least one projection and sockets and the set 80 of hollows to facilitate gripping of the support, are similar to those, which are described with reference to Figs. 1-9 .
- the support 2201 has the set of support strips such as those shown in Fig. 3 .
- the supports shown and described above may be made of plastic materials such as plastic, rubber, silicone or mixtures thereof, as well as wood, concrete and metal.
- the supports presented and described above can be made in the form of moldings on injection molding machines if the output product is plastic, also obtained as a result of recycling, or in the form of castings if the output product is plastic, metal, rubber, silicone, concrete.
- the supports shown and described above may be made by machining, for example when made of wood.
- Fig. 24 shows an example of the use of the set 2001 shown in Fig. 21 comprising crossed supports 1901 in which a road sign post 2 is mounted. A similar post could be placed in each of the supports described above.
- Fig. 25 shows the use of the supports 1901, instead of which the supports shown in Figs. 3-8 , Fig. 11 , Fig. 13 , Fig. 15 and Fig. 17 could be used to embed the elements of the temporary barriers 3 and/or the temporary fences.
- Fig. 26 shows a similar use of the sets 2000 of the supports 1901 shown in Fig. 20 , in which the temporary barrier and/or the temporary fencing elements 4 have been embedded.
