Une cartouche (4) pour un dispositif de génération de vapeur présentant un boîtier (6) doté d'une entrée d'air (22), d'une sortie d'air (26), d'au moins un canal d'air (24) s'étendant de l'entrée d'air à la sortie d'air, d'un réservoir de liquide (10) destiné à contenir un liquide de génération de vapeur et une chambre de vaporisation (12/16) en communication avec le réservoir de liquide, au moins une partie d'une surface interne du boîtier étant dotée d'un revêtement barrière (100) appliqué par un processus de dépôt chimique en phase vapeur. Un joint amovible ou cassable est disposé sur une sortie de fluide du boîtier.
