- the invention also relates to a cleaning station and a cleaning system with such a dehumidification device. State of the art
- EP 3 620 096 A1 relates to a cleaning system comprising a cleaning device and a bucket with a cleaning and dehumidifying device for the cleaning device.
- the cleaning device is a flat mop with a carrier plate, a mop cover mounted on it and a handle that is connected to the carrier plate via a gimbal-like joint.
- the cleaning and dehumidifying devices are designed as separate units.
- the dehumidification device is mounted on the bucket and has a wringing gap in which a scraper is pivotally mounted.
- the flat mop with the cleaning cover is rotated into a vertical position parallel to the handle and inserted with the narrow side first into the wringing gap.
- the swivel-mounted scraper is pressed down into the horizontal wringing position by the mop cover and narrows the wringing gap.
- the mop cover is guided along the scraper in the gap and dehumidified by wiping off the moisture.
- the scraper is carried upwards by the mop cover and pivots into a position that widens the wringing gap and is above the wringing position. This makes it easier to pull out the flat mop and prevents the bucket from being pulled up and lifting off.
- the scraper is pushed back down towards the wringing position.
- an elastic element is provided which rotates the scraper into the wringing position.
- the object of the invention is to develop a dehumidification device of the generic type in such a way that it can be produced easily and inexpensively and at the same time ensures that after the carrier plate with the mop cover has been pulled out, the wiper reliably returns to the wringing position that narrows the wringing gap, without the need for an elastic element requirement.
- a further object of the invention is to provide a cleaning station and a cleaning system with such a dehumidification device.
- a dehumidifying device for dehumidifying a mop cover on a carrier plate of a cleaning device, which comprises a wringing gap into which the carrier plate with the mop cover can be inserted, and at least one pivotally mounted scraper in the wringing gap for wiping off the moisture from the mop cover
- the at least a scraper can be pivoted between a wringing position that narrows the wringing gap and a position that widens the wringing gap and means are provided which automatically return the at least one scraper to the wringing position after it has been deflected into a position that widens the wringing gap, provided that the means have at least one lever arm include the at least attacks a wiper and, driven by weight, exerts a restoring torque on the wiper.
- the design according to the invention is simple, reliable and robust.
- the use of additional error-prone components, such as a spring, is not necessary.
- the lever arm can be assigned to the wringing gap or to a holder provided for it. According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, however, it is arranged on the scraper itself and protrudes from it.
- the magnitude of the torque can be easily adjusted using the dead weight and the distance of the lever arm from the pivot axis.
- the lever arm can be equipped with additional weights in addition to its own weight, advantageously at the end opposite the wiper, to increase the torque.
- a particularly high torque is achieved when the lever arm is as long as possible or when any additional weights are as far away as possible from the axis of rotation of the scraper and also from the contact line between the scraper and the wiping cloth.
- the lever arm encompasses the wringing gap and protrudes into the area of the bucket on the other side of the wringing gap opposite the scraper .
- the scraper has lever arms on both sides, which also have the wringing gap on both sides embrace. This allows the weight to be distributed over two lever arms and, thanks to the symmetry of the arrangement, a torque is exerted evenly over the entire length of the wiper. This reliably prevents the scraper from tilting, which could possibly occur if a lever arm is attacked on one side.
- the scraper, the at least one lever arm and/or the weights, if present, are made of the same material and in one piece. This results in a particularly simple, robust and cost-effective construction.
- the weights can advantageously be formed by thickenings and/or protuberances on the at least one lever arm.
- the wiper is preferably made of a thermoplastic, particularly preferably ABS (acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene copolymer).
- ABS acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene copolymer
- Thermoplastics can be produced inexpensively in a suitable form. ABS remains dimensionally stable even under long-term stress, as occurs in this application.
- exactly one wiper can be provided in the wringing gap.
- the counter pressure on the mop cover on the carrier plate is exerted via the carrier plate by the wall of the wringing gap opposite the wiper.
- the wiper can be designed in one or more parts. It can have webs, knobs, brush elements or the like to enhance the wiping effect.
- the scraper is preferably pivotally mounted near the wringing gap in order to keep the requirement for installation space low.
- the pivotable bearing can be carried out using short lateral axes which are located in bearings provided for this purpose There is a wringing gap.
- the bearings are particularly preferably designed as simple eyelets, since these are particularly cost-effective.
- the scraper can be stopped by a suitable stop element when pivoting downwards.
- a rail designed over the entire length, which can absorb the force well and relieve the load on the wiper, has proven to be particularly advantageous as a stopping element.
- the wiper On the side facing away from the mop cover, the wiper can be guided, for example, in supports that can absorb force caused by the pressure on the mop cover.
- the deflection of the wiper can be limited according to a further preferred embodiment of the invention such that its center of gravity remains on the side of the pivot axis facing the mop cover and thus always generates a moment that has a closing effect.
- a cleaning station comprises a bucket with a cleaning area for washing out the mop cover and a wringing area for dehumidifying the mop cover, wherein both the cleaning area and the wringing area can be provided with a previously described dehumidification device.
- the strength of the wiping effect can be designed differently in both areas.
- a holder can be provided by means of which the dehumidification device or devices can be fixed on the bucket.
- the attachment to the holder should be strong enough so that the dehumidifying device is not removed from the holder when an inserted cleaning device with a carrier plate and mop cover is moved upwards again. At the same time it is For cleaning the inside of the bucket, it may be helpful if the dehumidifying device can be easily removed. It is therefore advisable, for example, to design the attachment of the dehumidification device to the holder to be lockable or easy to open using a simple mechanism. This can be done, for example, using openable snap locks.
- the holder or the bucket can be assigned cladding elements which cover the bucket in areas at the top and thereby limit insertion openings for the carrier plate with the mop cover into the cleaning area and/or wringing area. This makes it easier to insert a cleaning device.
- the cleaning area can include any arrangement known per se for washing out a mop cover.
- the cleaning area comprises an insertion opening into which the wiping device with the mop cover can be inserted, as well as a tank with cleaning liquid, which is fluidly connected to outlet nozzles and means which cause the mop cover in the cleaning area to be sprayed with cleaning liquid from the tank through the nozzles.
- the means can, for example, include a pump that can be triggered via an actuating element that can be triggered by the inserted carrier plate with a mop cover.
- a cleaning system comprises a previously described cleaning station and a cleaning device with a carrier plate and a mop cover.
- the cleaning system is preferably designed as a vertical cleaning system, in which the carrier plate with the mop cover can be inserted in a vertical position from above into the cleaning and wringing area.
- the cleaning device is designed in such a way that the carrier plate and the handle are connected to one another via a joint, particularly preferably a cardan joint, the carrier plate with the mop cover being moved into a vertical position with its longitudinal axis parallel to the joint via the joint Handle can be swiveled.
- the width of the wringing gap with the scraper is advantageously dimensioned such that the scraper in the wringing position wipes off excess liquid from the mop cover when the mop cover is inserted onto the carrier plate, but when pulled out it still clings to the previously scraped surface without a scraping effect no longer touched. This ensures that the bucket is not pulled up or tips over when the carrier plate with the mop cover is pulled out. For dehumidification, it can be advantageous if the carrier plate with the mop cover is repeatedly moved up and down the wringing gap.
- the length of the wiper corresponds to the width of the wipe, so that when it is inserted into the wringing gap, the liquid is wiped off over the entire width of the wipe.
- a particularly simple structure for a scraper results when the scraper is used as an in Substantially rectangular element is formed, the length of which corresponds to the length of the wringing gap and which is pivotally fixed on one long side to the wringing gap or the holder in the area of the wringing gap and has a scraper edge on the opposite long side.
- the wiping edge can include a wiping lip.
- the wringing gap can also be provided with a scraper on both sides, with the second scraper being intended to exert additional pressure on the back of the carrier plate.
