Abstract

The invention relates to a packaging unit (50) for providing hairpieces or extensions (51), comprising an inner box (30), preferably made of paper and/or cardboard, in which the hairpieces (51) are received in an open, hanging manner from the underside (31) thereof, and a hinged box front lid (35). This is removably inserted or insertable into an outer packaging (40) designed for this purpose, preferably also made of paper and/or cardboard, which also has an open underside (41) for the hairpieces, with a recess (47) supporting the inner box (30) downwards.

The outer packaging front side (42) projects beyond the inner box (30) and has a viewing opening (46) arranged to provide a view of the hairline of the hairpieces (51) protruding from the inner box (30). In addition, the outer packaging front side (42) and the outer packaging rear side (43) both form a hanging recess (45) at the upper end for hanging from a shelf hook. Description

The invention relates to a packaging unit for providing hairpieces according to the preamble of claim 1 or claims 14 and 15, in particular a technical solution for the flexible provision of hairpieces, especially hair extensions, in an open-hanging form in retail.

Packaging is known in many different forms for a wide variety of applications. In many cases, it is made at least partially from paper or cardboard. For example, US2005274641 or US2004035726 a packaging specifically for hair bands or hair ties or US2004050751 packaging for hairbrushes in which the packaged product is at least partially accessible so that the customer can form a visual and/or tactile impression of its nature and quality.

WO2018096025 , US2016219958 , US2016206030 , KR20150028682 or KR101385691 show specifically known packaging products for examples of hair extensions that can be regarded as generic within the meaning of the present invention, or the term extensions, which is now regarded as a Germanized product, as a product to be packaged.

In a field remote from the present invention, GR20100100072 A folded paper cutlery box. Various methods are suggested for opening and closing this box, including magnets.

However, the known packaging has several technical disadvantages, for example, in its flexible, attractive and accurate presentation of the hairpieces, a safe but easily accessible storage of the hairpieces, and an easy grasp of the essential features of the hairpieces. The known packaging is also necessarily bound to a specific, predetermined form of presentation, which the retailer must provide on its own initiative.

Such compromises in existing solutions are fraught with disadvantages in one way or another, especially with regard to their usability as solutions for flexible and/or attractive product presentation, where all essential product features of the hairpieces are directly and clearly visible or comprehensible, especially without irreversibly breaking the packaging. In summary, existing packaging is usually about "as simple and inexpensive as possible" – which is not worthy of a high-quality hair product.

The object of the present invention is therefore to create a device or to provide a method which does not have the aforementioned disadvantages or which minimizes them. In particular, an improved packaging for the provision or presentation of hairpieces is to be provided which is flexible. A specific object is, for example, to provide a high-quality product presentation through technical precautions and design, in particular in such a way that the essential product features can be seen and/or grasped by a customer or seller without having to damage the packaging. Preferably, however, the packaging should be technically easy to manufacture, in particular using standard processes, and preferably consist of recycled and/or recyclable materials.

The objects are achieved by the features of the independent claim. Advantageous developments and embodiments are set forth in the figures and in the dependent claims, as well as in the following description.

According to the invention, a packaging unit for the provision of hairpieces is provided. Hairpieces here refer in particular to hair extensions or strands which are used for lengthening, increasing the volume or for partial replacement or modification. of the natural head hair. This is preferably natural hair, but can also be artificial or synthetic hair, e.g. in individual strands or tresses, which can also already be prepared for an attachment method such as tape extensions systems, bonding method, air pressure superbond, high speed selector, laser beamer XP, easyhair, microring, loop extensions, eurolocks, shrinkies, ultrasound, Brazilian method, hot pod method, hot gun method, clip extensions, skin weft, weaving, Senegalese twists, tree braids, invisible braids and micro braids, etc.

The packaging unit or its parts are particularly designed as a sales display for the presentation of freely hanging hairpieces, for example at hairdressers or other service providers, in specialist or retail stores, etc.

The packaging units according to the invention are characterized by the following: The definitions used below, "bottom," "top," "front," "back," and "side," refer to the orientation of the packaging unit (or the inner box and/or outer packaging) that is typical for normal use, in which the hair hangs downward from the box.

The packaging unit has an inner box in which hairpieces attached to a web or crossbar are held. The inner box is preferably punched out of a flat sheet, folded and glued, specifically in such a way that when assembled and closed, a substantially cuboid-shaped box is formed. It can in particular be made of paper and/or cardboard, preferably from single flat sheets of cardboard or paper of appropriate strength or thickness. For folding, folding edges or folds can be embossed along the folding lines. Optionally, a printed cover layer made of thinner paper can be applied to the paper or cardboard, or the cardboard or paper can be printed directly.

This inner box has a box bottom, which has at least has a partial opening from which hairpieces placed in the inner box can hang open. The underside of the box preferably also has closed areas on which the bridge can rest so that the hairpieces cannot fall or slide down out of the inner box. The opening is preferably centered essentially over the width of the inner box and can, for example, be about 1/4 to 3/4, preferably about 1/3 of the width so that the box remains stable and the hairpieces are presented in a centered arrangement in the inner box or packaging unit. The opening can extend to the back of the box in depth or, preferably, there can be a continuous connection in the rear area, for example of about 10 to 30 percent of the depth, which can promote stability.

The back of the inner box is preferably designed to be completely closed.

A box front of the inner box also has an at least partial opening that is connected to the opening in the box bottom. Specifically, the openings can form a common, upwardly open opening or a slot in the inner box, which is optionally wider at the top than at the bottom to allow for easier insertion of the hairpieces.

The front of the box has at least one magnetic element. This magnetic element can be an active, i.e. permanent magnetic element, for example a disc magnet, or a passive, i.e. ferromagnetic element, for example a disc magnet. These types of magnetic elements are specifically combined in such a way that adhesion or attraction occurs in the combinations described here. Preferably, for example, a recess is provided on each side of the opening in the carton, the contour of which corresponds to the shape of the disc magnet, which is glued into this recess. The recess will be covered on at least one or both sides with another part of the folded inner box in order to provide an adhesive surface for the magnetic element and/or to cover.

Specifically, the disc magnets are arranged in such a way, both in terms of their position and polarity, that they preferentially attract the adhering parts to each other in a defined position. This allows for secure and geometrically correct adhesion. This defined position is achieved in a special way by using a permanent magnet on each of the two positions to be connected on each side – especially compared to the use of a passive iron plate or similar on one of the sides.

A top side of the inner box is connected to a box front lid, and these two can be folded open at a connection between the box top and the box back, for example by a folding edge designed as a hinge. In the closed state, the box front lid preferably completely overlaps the box front, including its opening. The box front lid has at least one magnetic element which is designed and arranged such that, when the inner box is closed, the box front lid detachably adheres to the box front, preferably in a defined position corresponding to the arrangement and design of the magnetic elements on the front lid and front side. The box top and the box front lid are preferably closed, and in particular the front lid can optionally have a grip tab projecting downwards so that the inner box can be easily opened.

The inner box also has box side panels, which are preferably completely closed.

The aforementioned box components are designed in single or multi-layered form and are connected to one another by means of creases or folds, either by themselves or via tabs and adhesive surfaces. When the inner box is assembled, the connection between the box top and the box rear wall, and optionally also the box top and the box front cover, can be connected to one another in a flexible and hinged manner, so that they can be easily inserted. The hairpieces can be repeatedly opened and closed by overcoming the adhesion of the magnetic elements. The connections of the other mentioned box parts can also be connected by bent or folded edges or by forming corresponding adhesive tabs and/or adhesive surfaces. However, these are not movable, but rather rigid, preferably designed for right-angled connections.

The packaging unit further comprises an outer packaging designed to removably accommodate the inner box in the interior space enclosed by it. The inner box is preferably surrounded by the outer packaging in a precisely fitting or form-fitting manner. The outer packaging is preferably formed from paper and/or cardboard by punching, folding, and gluing from a flat sheet, in particular in a manner analogous to that described for the inner box.

The outer packaging forms an outer packaging underside that is at least partially, preferably completely, open, and from which the hairpieces can protrude or hang openly. For example, at least approximately 80% of the length of the hairpieces protrude from the outer packaging, preferably open and hanging freely.

The outer packaging has at least one recess (in the closed state) on the inside, against which the inner box (30) can be supported downwards. This prevents, for example, the inner box from falling out or being pulled out, while still allowing the hair to hang freely and, for example, be combed or brushed. The recess can be formed, in particular, in the form of a left and a right raised tab, for example on the back of the outer packaging.

An outer packaging front side projects downwards over the inner box and has a viewing opening which is arranged in such a way that the view of the hairline of the hairpieces protruding from the inner box - or a The area directly beneath the front lid of the box or the opening in the bottom of the inner box is exposed, allowing an important feature of the hairline color to be visible through the outer packaging, while still keeping the hair securely contained within the packaging. The viewing opening can be a round hole, for example.

The rear side of the outer packaging is preferably closed and can, in particular, project downwards beyond the front side of the outer packaging, e.g., to provide the hair with better hold and support or to provide distance to the rear from another packaging unit.

Both the front and rear of the outer packaging have a hanging recess at the top for hanging the packaging unit on a shelf hook. For example, this hanging recess can be designed with a circular hole and a slot whose width is smaller than the circle's diameter, which makes the hole accessible from the side. This means that even a packaging unit hanging further back can be easily removed from the side of the shelf hook without first removing all the packaging units hanging in front of it. The position of the hole is specifically such that, when arranged laterally, the complete packaging unit, in particular with the hairpiece hanging inside, hangs vertically on the shelf hook. In particular, this position can compensate for weight asymmetry by differently designed side walls of the outer packaging.

The outer packaging further comprises a left and a right outer packaging side wall. In particular, one of the outer packaging side walls can extend beyond the hanger recess to improve the stability of the outer packaging and/or the spacing between the front and back in the hanger area.

One of the left or right outer packaging side walls is doubled, with the first of the double outer packaging side walls on the rear side of the outer packaging and a second of the double outer packaging side walls is attached to the front side of the outer packaging, which overlap when closed. These first and second outer packaging side walls each have at least one magnetic element, which are designed and arranged such that they releasably adhere to one another, preferably in a defined position relative to one another based on the position and/or polarity of the magnetic elements.

In other words, the invention is directed to a packaging unit for providing hairpieces or extensions, comprising an inner box, preferably made of paper and/or cardboard, in which the hairpieces are held hanging open from the underside thereof, and a hinged box front lid. This box is removably inserted or insertable into a specially designed outer packaging, preferably also made of paper and/or cardboard, which also has an open underside for the hairpieces, with a recessed portion supporting the inner box from below.

The front of the outer packaging extends beyond the inner box and has a viewing opening arranged to reveal the hairline of the hairpieces protruding from the inner box. Additionally, the front and back of the outer packaging both form a hanging recess at the upper end for hanging on a shelf hook. The packaging unit is equipped with several magnetic elements arranged and configured to adhere to each other and/or to a presentation surface, preferably at defined positions, by means of this inner box and/or outer packaging.

Preferably, the box rear side can have at least one magnetic element, wherein the magnetic elements of the box front side and the box rear side are designed and arranged such that the box front side and box rear side of two inner boxes in a defined They adhere to each other in a specific position. This allows for advantageous positioning of the inner boxes relative to each other without any user intervention. For example, they can be aligned and stacked next to each other and/or against a metal wall. Specifically, a magnetic element can be positioned to the left and right of the opening on the front of the box, ensuring the inner box closes evenly.

In this application, magnetic elements designed and arranged in this way refer in particular to a geometric arrangement that overlaps or coincides in the desired position and/or a corresponding polarity of the magnets, in particular in such a way that an undesired adhesion position is made impossible by magnetic repulsion.

Preferably, the back of the box can have at least one magnetic element, wherein the magnetic elements of the front and back of the box are designed and arranged such that the back of the box and the back of the outer packaging adhere to each other at a defined position. This releasably holds the inner box in position and/or facilitates a well-positioned insertion of the inner box into the outer packaging. Specifically, more magnets can be attached to the back of the outer packaging to allow its larger surface to securely adhere to a metal wall or other outer packaging.

Preferably, the rear side of the outer packaging can have at least one magnetic element, wherein the magnetic elements of the inner box and the outer packaging are designed and arranged such that the rear side of the inner box adheres to the rear side of the outer packaging at a defined position. This draws the two boxes into a preferred position relative to one another when stacked, even horizontally.

Preferably, the outer packaging back side can have at least one magnetic element, wherein the magnetic elements of the The inner box and the outer packaging are designed and arranged such that the rear of the outer packaging and the front of the inner box adhere to each other at a defined position, in particular through the front of the outer packaging. Preferably, at least one, preferably all of the magnetic elements are covered by paper and/or cardboard at least on one side. This means that they do not detract from the appearance of the packaging and offer a flat adhesive surface for secure attachment. The magnetic elements are preferably covered in the direction of adhesion of another magnetic element so that they cannot be torn off. Alternatively, at least one, preferably all of the magnetic elements can be inserted into a recess adapted to the outer shape of the magnetic element and covered flatly on at least one side by paper and/or cardboard, wherein the recess is covered by an unfolded part of the same or a one-piece flat paper or cardboard which has the recess.

Preferably, at least one, and preferably all, of the magnetic elements are completely enclosed by the paper and/or cardboard. This means they do not detract from the appearance of the packaging and provide a flat adhesive surface for secure attachment, preventing them from falling out or being torn off. Preferably, the magnetic elements are covered in the direction of adhesion of another magnetic element so that they cannot be torn off, especially in the case of magnets that adhere from both sides.

Preferably, the inner box and/or outer packaging can each be folded from a single flat sheet, which has preferably been previously punched and provided with fold lines. This allows for efficient production.

Preferably, the inner box and/or outer packaging can be formed from a paper or cardboard core with recesses for the magnetic elements, which is enclosed on at least one side, preferably on both sides, with a cover layer, preferably made of cardboard or paper, in particular by an unfolded part of the same paper or cardboard core.

Preferably, the back of the outer packaging can be longer towards the bottom than the front of the outer packaging, which makes it easy to separate the hair pieces from each other.

Preferably, the recess inside the outer packaging, which supports the inner box downwards, can be designed as a left and right raised flap, especially on the back of the outer packaging. This allows for stable fixation of the inner box downwards, especially with minimal effort.

Preferably, an NFC or RFID tag can be attached to the inner box and/or the outer packaging, preferably on the inside of the inner box or completely enclosed by the paper and/or cardboard. This can be used, for example, to query product data by the user, e.g., via smartphone, for product recognition at the checkout or for stock levels, and/or for theft protection.

Preferably, the inner box and/or the outer packaging can each be folded from a single piece of paper or cardboard, with at least those areas which have a magnetic element being folded in at least two layers. For example, with the paper or cardboard surface folded over 180 degrees at a fold or crease and glued. Optionally, a three-layer fold or overlap can also be present. This means, for example, that one side of the paper or cardboard with a high-quality, e.g. smooth and/or printed surface can face outwards in the box parts and a less high-quality, e.g. rough or raw side can face inwards as the adhesive surface.

This means that paper or cardboard only needs to be of presentation quality and/or printed on one side. Magnets can also be inserted into recesses in an inner layer of the fold and glued flat to the inner surface of an outer layer of the fold that overlaps these.

The invention also relates to an outer packaging with at least one packaging unit or inner box as described, so to speak as an extended packaging unit. This can be designed with at least one magnetic element, for example a ferromagnetic plate or magnets in an outer packaging rear wall (e.g., analogous to the one described above), so that the at least one packaging unit or just its inner box adheres there and is secured in its position, for example, for transport in the outer packaging.

The invention further relates to a sales display packaging with at least one packaging unit or inner box as described, so to speak as an extended packaging unit. For example, this can be hinged (at least approximately) in the middle and have a frame in front of a rear wall on both unfolded halves. The sales display packaging is designed with at least one magnetic element, in particular a ferromagnetic plate, in a sales display packaging rear wall, so that the at least one packaging unit or just its inner box adheres there and is secured in its position for transport in the outer packaging.

The inventive division of the packaging unit into an inner box and outer packaging, and optionally an outer packaging and/or sales display packaging, provides a flexible packaging solution for hairpieces, in which the hairpieces can be presented freely, with all their essential features clearly visible, in various ways. The outer packaging and/or outer packaging can also be reused, e.g., by only supplying inner boxes with hairpieces.

In an analogous manner, the invention also relates to a method for producing the packaging units comprising punching, folding, bending, inserting at least one magnetic element and gluing from a flat sheet of paper or cardboard, wherein at least one-sided recesses are provided for inserting the magnetic element and an unfolded doubling of at least part of the box or outer packaging parts.

Fig. 1 shows an example of an inner box 30 as a first part of a packaging unit 50 according to the invention for hairpieces 51, shown diagonally from below. This is produced as a substantially cuboid-shaped box made of paper or cardboard, in which the box front lid 35 - in this example together with the box top 34 (not visible here) - can be opened. In this case, the box front lid 35 can specifically adhere magnetically to a box front 33 located behind it, so that it can be opened with slight force or closes upon approach due to magnetic attraction. In the closed state shown here, the front lid 35 overlaps the front 33. On its box bottom 31, this inner box has an opening 37a, from which hairpieces 51 inserted therein, not shown here for the sake of clarity, can hang freely. This inner box is closed all around except for the opening 37a, especially with closed box side panels 36 and a box back. In this example, the box front cover forms a grip tab at the bottom in the area of opening 37a.

Fig. 2 shows a partial view—also from below—in which the box front cover 35 from before is hidden. This reveals the box front 33, which also has an opening 37b, which is connected to the opening 37a to form a single opening. Thus, the magnets 55 are not visible. Similarly, these magnets 55 are also covered outwardly in the recesses on the back of the box's rear side 32.

Fig. 5 shows the magnets 55 in recesses of the cardboard or paper again, with the outer cover layer of the box back 32 hidden. Preferably, all of these outer box parts are made of paper or cardboard, which is unfolded and thus at least double-layered, and in some places even triple-layered - similar to the inner box 30. Specifically, the outer packaging front side and the outer packaging rear side each form a hanging recess 45, which allows a shelf hook to be inserted laterally. With the double design of the hanging recess 45 at the back and front, as well as a lateral positioning which does not correspond to the geometric outer packaging center, but rather to the center of gravity axis of the entire packaging unit 50 - preferably with hairpiece 51 -, a vertical hanging in both directions is achieved according to the invention.

Furthermore, a viewing opening 46 is formed in the front side 42 of the outer packaging, which is arranged in such a way that it provides a view of the area at or directly below the lower edge of the inner box 30. This allows the color or shade of the hairline of the hairpieces 51 located in the inner box 30 to be immediately visible from the outside, which is an important feature of high-quality hairpieces 51. The outer packaging 40 forms a recess 47 against which an inserted inner box 30 rests downwards, particularly when subjected to downward tension, for example, due to the weight of the hairpieces or being pulled by a person. This ensures that the hair is securely held in the outer packaging.

In this example, the left side of the outer packaging side walls 44 is Side 44a is single, but the right side with 44b and 44c is double, with this double design forming a closure of the outer packaging 40. The outer packaging side wall 44b is connected to the outer packaging rear side 43, and the outer packaging side wall 44c is connected to the outer packaging front side 42. Both outer packaging side walls 44b and 44c are each formed with at least one magnetic element 55, which is positioned and formed such that the two side walls 44b and 44c magnetically adhere to one another in a defined position when closed.

Fig. 8 shows a similar view as Fig. 7 However, some outer packaging parts are hidden. Specifically shown here is the formation 47, realized by two bent-up tabs 47a, 47b on the outer packaging rear side 32. The hanger recess 45 of the outer packaging rear side 32 is also visible here.

Fig. 9 shows a similar view of a packaging unit 50 according to the invention as Fig. 8 but with inner box 30 and hairpieces 51 therein. The further designated parts have already been explained.

Fig. 10 and Fig. 11 show further views of a packaging unit 50 according to the invention, viewed obliquely from above and obliquely from below. Regarding the reference symbols, reference is made to the remaining text.

Fig. 12 shows an example of a flat, unfolded outer packaging 40 as previously shown. The edges shown in solid lines are cut or punched out. The short, broken lines show folding or bent edges, which may be folded or perforated, for example. The recesses for the magnets 55 contain the designations for the magnetic poles pointing upwards in the plane of the drawing. The other outer packaging parts are labeled as previously described or as listed in the list of reference symbols.

The multi-layered parts created by folding and gluing are identified by a sub-index (b or a1,a2, b1,b2, c1,c2), which are designed for stability and/or for covering the magnets 55 on one or two sides as described above.

Obviously, there are also alternative arrangements of the surfaces of the outer packaging parts shown here, which result in a comparable result for an outer packaging 40 as shown, which is why this configuration shown is advantageous but not necessarily limiting. The areas marked with dashed squares mark the rear surfaces of the tabs 47a and 47b, which are kept free of adhesive.

As with the inner box 30, it is also clearly visible here how the positioning and alignment of the magnets 55 is carried out in such a way that they adhere to one another in a defined position, specifically in such a way that the adhering parts are aligned parallel or straight to one another by the magnetic force of attraction.

Fig. 13 shows again a finished folded version of an outer packaging 40 according to the plan from Fig. 12 .

Fig. 14 shows an outer packaging 53 or sales display packaging 54, which has a lid and base part that can be folded open essentially halfway, each with a frame and a rear surface, so that when closed, it forms a packaging for several packaging units 50 and/or inner boxes 30, preferably with hairpieces. At least part of this rear wall is equipped with a magnetic element, here for example also a passive iron sheet or iron band, which in turn is preferably arranged inside a folded and glued, multi-layer cardboard or paper rear wall. The packaging units 50 or just the inner boxes 30 can adhere to this rear wall so that they do not slip during transport, which could lead to undesirable confusion of the hairpieces.

In the illustrated configuration, this can also be set up as a sales display packaging, so that the packaging units 50 or only the inner boxes 30 can be presented by adhering to the rear wall. In embodiments with correspondingly arranged magnetic elements 55 as described, several packaging units 50 and/or inner boxes 30 can also be magnetically adhered to one another, stacked horizontally at the front.

As will be apparent to a person skilled in the art, the embodiments and approaches shown or described here in different figures can also be combined and interchanged in the sense of the invention in a manner different from that shown.

Packaging unit (50) for providing hairpieces (51), especially hair extensions,

the box rear side (32) has at least one magnetic element (55), wherein the magnetic elements (55) of the box front side (33) and the box rear side (32) are designed and arranged such that the box front side (33) and box rear side (32) of two inner boxes (30) adhere to one another in a defined position. the box back (32) has at least one magnetic element (55), wherein the magnetic elements (55) of the box front (33) and the box back (32) are designed and arranged such that the box back (32) and the outer packaging back (43) adhere to one another at a defined position. this can be folded open - preferably in the middle - and has a frame in front of a rear wall on both folded-open halves, wherein the sales display packaging (54) is formed with at least one magnetic element (55), in particular a ferromagnetic plate, in a sales display packaging rear wall, and has at least one frame, so that the at least one packaging unit (50) or only its inner box (30) adheres thereto.
