  • Such a piece of different material can for example be ring-shaped, in order to provide an efficient clamping surface for a, for example, circular shaped membrane, and/or such a piece of different material can be made of ceramic in order to increase durability. This is, because ceramic will be able to withstand high thermal stress, which is expected to be present at the interface between the surface clamping the membrane to the wick on the one hand and the membrane on the other hand.
