- A drum arrangement (T) for conveying rod-like articles (41, 42) of the tobacco-processing industry, in particular filter rod segments or filter rod segment groups, in an axially transverse direction, with at least one first conveying drum (20), wherein the first conveying drum (20) has a drum body (23) that can rotate about an axis of rotation and has receiving recesses (21, 22) arranged one behind the other in the circumferential direction for the rod-like articles (41, 42), wherein a first swash plate (25) and a second swash plate (26) are provided on each of the two end faces of the drum body (23) and are in each case provided for displacing the rod-like articles in the receiving recesses (21, 22) in a longitudinally axial manner, wherein the first swash plate (25) is configured to displace rod-like articles of a first type (41) in the respective receiving recesses (21), preferably exclusively, in the direction of the second swash plate (26) along a first displacement direction, wherein the second swash plate (26) is configured to displace rod-like articles of a second type (42) in the respective receiving recesses (22), preferably exclusively, in the direction of the first swash plate (25) along a second displacement direction, wherein the first displacement direction of the rod-like articles of the first type (41) is opposite to the second displacement direction of the rod-like articles of the second type (42), wherein in particular the rod-like articles of the first type (41) differ from the rod-like articles of the second type (42), in particular in length, characterized in that an additional conveying drum (10) is provided upstream or downstream of the first conveying drum (20) with reference to the conveying direction of the rod-like articles (41, 42), wherein in each case the additional conveying drum (10) has a drum body (13) that can rotate about an axis of rotation and has receiving recesses (11, 12), arranged one behind the other in the circumferential direction, for the rod-like articles (41, 42), wherein a first swash plate (15) and a second swash plate (16) are provided on each of the two end faces of the drum body (13) of the additional conveying drum (10) and are in each case provided for displacing the rod-like articles in the receiving recesses (11, 12) in a longitudinally axial manner, wherein the first swash plate (15) of the additional conveying drum (10) is configured to displace rod-like articles of the first type (41) in the respective receiving recesses (11), preferably exclusively, in the direction of the second swash plate (16) of the additional conveying drum (10), wherein the second swash plate (16) of the additional conveying drum (10) is configured to displace rod-like articles of the second type (42) in the respective receiving recesses (12), preferably exclusively, in the direction of the first swash plate (15) of the additional conveying drum (10), wherein the first swash plate (15) of the additional conveying drum (10) is arranged on the drum body (13) of the additional conveying drum (10) such that the direction in which the rod-like articles of the first type (41) can be displaced or are displaced in the receiving recesses of the drum body (13) of the additional conveying drum (10) is opposite to the first displacement direction of the rod-like articles of the first type (41) in the receiving recesses of the first conveying drum (20), and in that the second swash plate (16) of the additional conveying drum (10) is arranged on the drum body (13) of the additional conveying drum (10) such that the direction in which the rod-like articles of the second type (42) can be displaced or are displaced in the receiving recesses of the drum body (13) of the additional conveying drum (10) is opposite to the second displacement direction of the rod-like articles of the second type (42) in the receiving recesses of the first conveying drum (20).
- The drum arrangement (T) according to claim 1, characterized in that pin bodies (27) are provided on the first swash plate (25) on the side facing the receiving recesses (21) of the conveying drum (20) in the circumferential direction of the conveying drum (20), wherein the pin bodies (27) extend parallel to the axis of rotation of the conveying drum (20).
- The drum arrangement (T) according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the second swash plate (26) is flat on the side facing the receiving recesses (21, 22) of the conveying drum (20).
- The drum arrangement (T) according to one of claims 1 to 3, characterized in that the drum body (23) has receiving recesses (21) for the rod-like articles of the first type (41) and receiving recesses (22) for the rod-like articles of the second type (42), wherein the receiving recesses (21) for the rod-like articles of the first type (41) and the receiving recesses (22) for the rod-like articles of the second type (42) differ in length.
- The drum arrangement (T) according to claim 4, characterized in that the receiving recesses (21) for the rod-like articles of the first type (41) and the receiving recesses (22) for the rod-like articles of the second type (42) are arranged alternating one behind the other in the circumferential direction of the conveying drum (20).
- The drum arrangement (T) according to claim 4 or 5, characterized in that the drum body (23) of the first conveying drum (20) has a depression (29) for receiving a pin body (27), in particular a pin body (27) of the first swash plate (25) of the first conveying drum (20), laterally adjacent to the receiving recesses (21) for the rod-like articles of the first type (41) on one side or on both sides of the receiving recesses.
- The drum arrangement (T) according to one of claims 1 to 6, characterized in that a cutting device (30), in particular a cutting knife (30), is arranged on the first conveying drum (20).
- The drum arrangement (T) according to one of claims 1 to 7, characterized in that pin bodies (17) are provided on the first swash plate (15) of the additional conveying drum (10) on the side facing the receiving recesses (11, 12) of the additional conveying drum (10) in the circumferential direction, wherein the pin bodies (17) extend parallel to the axis of rotation of the additional conveying drum (10).
- The drum arrangement (T) according to one of claims 1 to 8, characterized in that the second swash plate (16) of the additional conveying drum (10) is flat on the side facing the receiving recesses (11, 12) of the additional conveying drum (10).
- The drum arrangement (T) according to one of claims 1 to 9, characterized in that the drum body (13) of the additional conveying drum (10) has receiving recesses (11) for the rod-like articles of the first type (41) and receiving recesses (12) for the rod-like articles of the second type (42), wherein the receiving recesses (11) for the rod-like articles of the first type (41) and the receiving recesses (12) for the rod-like articles of the second type (42) differ in length, wherein in particular the receiving recesses (11, 12) of the additional conveying drum (10) for the rod-like articles of the first type (41) and the receiving recesses of the additional conveying drum (10) for the rod-like articles of the second type (42) are arranged alternating one behind the other in the circumferential direction of the additional conveying drum (10).
- The drum arrangement (T) according to one of claims 1 to 10, characterized in that the drum body (13) of the additional conveying drum (10) has a recess (19) for receiving a pin body (17), in particular a pin body (17) of the first swash plate (15) of the, preferably additional, conveying drum (10), laterally adjacent to each of the receiving recesses (11) for the rod-like articles of the first type (41) on one side or on both sides of the receiving recesses (11).
- A machine (M) of the tobacco-processing industry, in particular a multisegment filter producing machine (M) or a filter assembling machine, with a drum arrangement (T) according to one of claims 1 to 11.
- A use of a drum arrangement (T) according to one of claims 1 to 11 for conveying rod-like articles (41, 42) of the tobacco-processing industry, in particular filter rod segments or filter rod segment groups, in an axially transverse direction.
