Definitions
- the invention relates to a fitting arrangement with a furniture fitting, in particular a flap holder, with which a furniture flap or a door can be pivotably attached to a furniture body.
- Flap stays are known in various forms in the prior art.
- a flap stay which includes a link chain.
- the link chain serves to adjust a hinged lever to which a flap is pivotally attached.
- the flap can be pivoted between an open and a closed position by means of the link chain.
- flap stays are link chains with five or seven joints. Such link chains can be used within the scope of the invention.
- a holding device with a spring element acts on the linkage chain.
- This holding device allows the flap to be automatically held in an intermediate position between the open and closed positions. This prevents the flap from falling into the closed position on its own.
- an adjustment device is provided. This device allows the preload of the spring element to be adjusted.
- Another flap fitting is made from the DE 10 2015 117 291 B3 known.
- the flap stays described above are designed so that the holding devices used within them keep the furniture flap in the closed position and, accordingly, apply a spring-loaded preload to the kinematic mechanism in the closing direction.
- the user To open the furniture flap, the user must first overcome this holding force and can then move the flap into the open position. As described above, the holding device balances the weight of the furniture flap during this movement.
- An actuator is known by means of which a flap is pivotably attached to a furniture body. Furthermore, a locking device is provided to prevent the flap from opening unintentionally.
- the locking device comprises two parts, a first part being located on the furniture body and a second part on the flap.
- the locking device can be designed to exert a magnetic attraction on the flap and include an ejection element whose release can overcome the magnetic attraction.
- the locking device can operate mechanically.
- a housing with a reversing loop or cam can be provided.
- a control pin located on the flap can be guided on the reversing loop or cam and can be guided to a releasable locking position.
- the locking device comprises a locking unit with a receiving element in which an engagement element can be received. Furthermore, a locking mechanism is provided that releasably holds the receiving element in a position that locks the engagement element.
- the locking unit is fixed to the drawer, and the engagement element is fixed to the furniture body.
- a locking device with a claw is known, by means of which a driver can be held.
- the claw is held on a component that is slidable on the housing. In a position in which it secures the driver, the claw is retracted into the housing. In this position, the slidable component is also retracted into the housing and positively locked in place by means of a bracket pivotally mounted on the housing, which is guided on the component in a heart-shaped curve.
- EP 1 591 608 A1 Disclosing a hinge for pivotally attaching a door to a piece of furniture, and a locking arrangement comprising a hook element attached to the door and a pivotally mounted coupling element attached to the furniture.
- the locking arrangement holds the door in the closed position against the opening force of a spring on the hinge.
- the locking arrangement can be released by overtraveling the door in the closing direction.
- the object of the invention is to provide a fitting arrangement with which, in particular, a furniture flap can be opened conveniently.
- a locking mechanism and a retaining device are included, with which the furniture flap is secured to the furniture body in a closed position by force and/or form-fit connection of a kinematic arrangement of the
- the furniture flap can be connected to a furniture fitting. In the closed position, the furniture flap is reliably held in its predetermined closed position and therefore cannot be easily opened.
- a spring element is provided which, in the closed position of the kinematic arrangement, introduces a preload into the kinematic arrangement in the opening direction. In contrast to the prior art, the spring element introduces a preload into the kinematic arrangement in the closed position, which attempts to move the furniture flap into the open position.
- a release mechanism is further provided according to the invention, which is formed by the lock and the bracket. The operator can activate this release mechanism and thus release the blockage between the lock and the bracket. When this blockage is released, the spring element pushes the kinematic arrangement so that the furniture flap is automatically moved into a partially or fully open position.
- This type of operation for a furniture flap is particularly easy to perform with a handleless furniture front and allows the user a comfortable opening process.
- At least some of the joints and the levers may form a linkage chain, which has at least one, preferably two, fixed joints whose position remains unchanged when the linkage chain is adjusted, wherein the linkage chain has a fastening lever that is directly or indirectly connected to the door or flap.
- the linkage chain may in particular be a 5-joint chain or a 7-joint chain.
- the linkage chain serves to guide the opening and closing process of the furniture flap or door.
- the furniture fitting has a holding device that is attached to the joint chain with at least one additional spring element.
- the invention states that the spring element, in the closed position or in a partially open position of the kinematic arrangement, introduces an additional spring force into the kinematic arrangement in the opening direction, with the spring force being effective in at least a portion of the opening movement of the kinematic arrangement.
- This additional spring element can, for example, balance the weight of the furniture flap, allowing the spring element according to the invention to effectively exert its effect in the direction of the opening movement.
- the spring force of the additional opening element can be varied by means of an actuator, so that varying forces can be set in the closed position of the kinematic arrangement.

- Figure 2 The two mounting sections 51, 53, which are arranged parallel to each other and spaced apart, are visible.
- Each of the mounting sections 51, 53 has an outer and an inner side.
- the inner sides of the two mounting sections 51, 53 face each other.
- the outer sides of the mounting sections 51, 53 form the outer sides of the housing 50.
- the fixed joints 35.1, 36.1 and 38.1 are connected to both mounting sections 51, 53.
- the mounting section 53 is marked with an L. This indicates to the user that the mounting section 53 can be used for left-side mounting in a furniture carcass.
- the opposite mounting section 51 is accordingly marked with an R.
- the fitting is marked to indicate that it can be mounted on the right side. Therefore, it can be used for either left- or right-side mounting. This is why the two mounting sections 51 and 53 can be essentially identical and mirror-symmetrical.
- fastening section 51 The same explanations apply analogously to fastening section 53.
- the fastening section 51 can be manufactured as a stamped and bent part from a sheet metal blank.
- the fastening section 51 has a support section 52.
- This support section 52 is formed by the edge of a recess 54 or an opening that is cut out of the fastening section 51.
- Fixing elements 55 are punched out of the fastening section 51 and bent outwards towards the outside of the housing.
- the fixing elements 55 can, for example, be designed as flap-shaped projections.
- the fastening section 51 can also have a profiled alignment section 56, which can be designed in particular as an embossing or a bend.
- guide receptacles 57 are designed as slots whose slot width continuously tapers. How Figure 2 As shown, for example, the slot width of the guide receptacle 57 tapers from the one in the fastening section 51. Figure 2 left side towards the right side of the furniture fitting 10.
- the kinematic assembly 30 is attached to the mounting section 51. Simultaneously, the kinematic assembly 30 is also attached to the second mounting section 53.

- the holding device 40 is also connected to both mounting sections 51, 53 in the area of its pivot bearing 46. In this way, the two mounting sections 51, 53 are also coupled to each other, with the kinematic arrangement 30 being accommodated at least partially between the two mounting sections 51, 53 in the housing 50.
- a mounting piece 80 can be optionally connected to either of the two mounting sections 51, 53.
- the mounting piece 80 is connected to the first mounting section 51 for right-side mounting.
- the mounting piece 80 can also be connected to the opposite second mounting section 53 for left-side mounting if it is rotated by 180°. The following explanations therefore apply analogously to both mounting sections 51, 53.
- the assembly piece 80 is described in more detail below. As these drawings show, the assembly piece 80 can be manufactured as a stamped and bent part from a steel sheet blank.
- the mounting piece 80 has a fitting side 81 and a furniture mounting side 81.3.
- the mounting piece 80 has an alignment element 81.1, which is designed in the form of an inclined body edge. The inclination runs in Figure 6 From left to right, as the drawing clearly shows.
- a mounting section 81.2 is provided.
- the mounting section 81.2 is formed by protrusions on opposite sides of the mounting piece 80.
- the mounting piece 80 is penetrated by screw receptacles 82, 83.
- the mounting piece 80 has a retaining section 84.
- the retaining section 84 is a feature shaped to create a storage area 84.1 that rises above the adjoining areas of the furniture fastening side 81.3.
- a bearing receptacle 84.2 is provided in the bearing surface 84.1. This receptacle is formed in the form of a bore. Above the bearing receptacle 84.2 is a stop 84.3. This stop can be in the form of an indentation, preferably a knob-shaped protrusion from the sheet metal blank.
- the stopping section 84 is marked with left and right markings 84.4 and 84.5.
- the Figures 6 and 7 This further indicates that counter elements 85 are provided on the mounting piece 80.
- the counter elements 85 can be designed as tabs that are punched out of the sheet metal blank and pressed out in the direction of the furniture mounting side 81.3.
- the counter elements 85 have a retaining section 85.2. This section is integrally connected to the sheet metal blank at both of its longitudinal ends via bends 85.1. A socket for the fixing element 55 is formed in the area between the bends 85.1 and the retaining section 85.2.
- the mounting piece 80 is provided with spacers 86. These spacers 86 protrude beyond the furniture mounting side 81.3. As the drawings illustrate, the spacers 86 can be designed in the form of knob-like projections.
- Figure 6 Figure 1 further illustrates that the mounting piece has two projections 88. These projections 88 can also be formed integrally with the mounting piece 80 and thus bent out of the sheet metal material in a single forming step. It is also conceivable that, as in the present embodiment, the projections 88 are designed as separate components that are riveted to the mounting piece 80.
- the mounting piece 80 also has openings 89 in the form of bores. The function of these openings 89 will be discussed below with reference to Figure 12 discussed in more detail.
- the mounting piece 80 is first placed with its furniture mounting side 81.3 on a wall of a furniture carcass 110 to which the furniture fitting 10 is to be attached. Then, mounting screws 90, 91, which are located in Figure 4 shown, pushed through the screw receptacles 82, 83 and screwed into the wall of the furniture body 110.
- the fixing screws 90 can be designed to be screwed into pre-drilled blind holes of a system perforation.
- the two fixing screws 91 serve for additional securing and can be designed as self-tapping screws that can be screwed into the wall.
- self-tapping screws can also be used instead of the fixing screws 90.
- the adjusting element 60 is rotated into a prepared starting position according to the desired stop type.
- the furniture fitting 10 is installed with its mounting side 51, i.e., a right-hand stop is to be achieved
- the adjusting element 60 is rotated in the bearing receptacle 84.2 so that the eccentrically arranged part of the operating element 61 covers the left marking 84.4 and the right-hand marking 84.3 is visible. This signals to the user that the correct stop type has been set.
- the remaining part of the furniture fitting 10 can be attached to the fitting side 81 of the mounting piece 80 using the appropriate fastening section 51, 53 for the respective stop type (right or left stop). This is done as described in Figure 2 As shown, the remaining fitting part is placed onto the mounting piece 80, with the projections 88 engaging in the guide receptacles 57. The projections 88 are located in the area of the widened ends of the Guide mounts 57. Accordingly, the fixing elements 55 are arranged in front of the counter elements 85.
- the mounting section 51 rests on the spacers 86 at its ends. Now the adjusting element 60 can be rotated. For this purpose, a screwdriver is inserted through the recess 54 in the opposite mounting piece 53 so that the screwdriver engages in the tool holder 62 of the operating unit 61. The screwdriver can then be inserted into the Figure 2
- the control element 61 is rotated clockwise in the position shown. During this rotation, the cylindrical outer circumference of the control element 61 rolls along the edge that defines the recess 54 and forms the support section 52.
- the fastening section 51 is moved relative to the mounting piece 80. Figure 2 from right to left.
- the fixing elements 55 are pushed behind the retaining sections 85.2 of the counter elements 85, forming a positive-locking and releasable connection transverse to the furniture fastening side 81.3.
- the projections 87 in the guide receptacles 57 are also displaced. Since the guide receptacles 57 are designed as tapered slots, the fastening section 51 is aligned vertically with the mounting piece 80.
- the alignment element 81.1 runs up against the alignment section 56, thereby also enabling precise alignment.
- the sliding movement is limited by the stop 84.3.
- the actuating element 60 has been rotated until the operating part 61 abuts the stop 84.3, the mounting position has been reached.
- the mounting position is in Figure 4 illustrated.
- the positioning of the control element 61 relative to the stop 84.3 should preferably be such that a self-locking mechanism is created.
- the control element 61 is rotated until the contact point between the control element 61 and the support section 52 is located on the The horizontal line intersecting the axis of rotation of the bearing pin 63, or the line located in the area between this line and the stop 84.3, prevents the connection between the mounting piece 80 and the associated fastening section 51 from being automatically released if a force is applied to the furniture fitting 10 contrary to the mounting direction described above.
- the actuator 60 is shown in more detail. As this illustration further demonstrates, the actuator 60 has a cylindrical operating part 61, which has a tool holder 62.
- the bearing pin 63 is eccentrically attached to the operating part 61.
- An indicator 64 is also attached to the operating part 60. This allows the user to determine whether the actuator 60 is in the open or closed position.
- the bearing pin 63 can, for example, be inserted into the bearing receptacle 84.2. The bearing pin 63 can then be crimped at its end.
- FIG. 10 and 11 Figure 1 shows the flap holder according to the invention and previously described in a representation rotated by 180°, wherein the mounting section 51 of the housing 50 is removed and the assignment of the kinematic arrangement 30 to the mounting section 53 is shown.

- the actuating element 38 is articulatedly connected to the mounting position 36.3.
- the assembly position 36.3 is arranged at least on a partial movement path between the closed position and the open position below a horizontal line that runs through the pivot point of the stationary 7th joint 36.1.

- a sliding guide is formed between the outer contour of the receiving part 72.1 and the inner contour of the pressure part 73.1. This allows linear adjustment of the actuator 72 relative to the holder 73.
- the piston rod 71.2 is supported at its end against the base 73.3. Therefore, when the actuator 72 is linearly inserted into the support element 73, this occurs against the damping force of the damper 71, whereby the piston rod 71.2 is inserted into the cylinder 71.1.
- the actuator 72 is captive to the holder 73 in its maximum extension position by means of the locking piece 72.3. Accordingly, in the assembled position, the locking piece 72.3 abuts a stop in the receptacle of the holder 73.
- the connecting element 36 has a guide 36.6.
- the guide 36.6 is formed as a slot-shaped recess from the Connecting element 36 is recessed.
- a counter-locking element 36.5 is arranged in the guide 36.6. This counter-locking element 36.5 is formed, for example, by a cylindrical pin.
- the actuating arrangement 70 is attached to the connecting element 36 in such a way that the counter-locking element 36.5 locks into the locking receptacle 73.5.
- the connecting element 36 has locking pieces 36.7.
- Several locking pieces 36.7 are provided, which are preferably spaced apart from each other at equal intervals.
- the blocking pieces 36.7 are recessed laterally from the connecting element 36 as notch-shaped recesses.
- a scale is assigned to the blocking pieces 36.7.
- the retaining elements 73.6 are inserted into the blocking pieces 36.7 assigned to the marking 3.
- the adjusting arrangement 70 is positively locked to the connecting element 36 in the direction of the guide 36.6.
- the captive connection between the counter-locking element 36.5 and the locking receptacle 73.5 ensures the captive fixing of the adjusting arrangement 70 to the connecting element 36.
- the adjusting assembly 70 To secure the adjusting assembly 70 in a different mounting position, it is grasped at the handle 73.2 and pulled off the connecting element 36, whereby the retaining elements 73.6 disengage from the locking pieces 36.7 and the detent connection between the counter-locking element 36.5 and the locking receptacle 73.5 is released.
- the adjusting assembly 70 can now be reinstalled in a modified mounting position.
- the counter-locking element 36.5 is moved to the desired position in the guide 36.6, as shown by the adjusted assembly in the Figures 10 and 11 This can be seen.
- the positioning arrangement 70 can be reattached to the connecting element 36 in the changed mounting position.
- Figure 11 The positioning arrangement 70 is now fixed in a maximum setting position.
- the positioning arrangement 70 with its stop 72.4, forms a contact point for a counter-stop 37.2.
- the counter-stop 37.2 can, as shown by the Figures 10 and 11
- the stop 72.4 is designed as a roller that rolls on the stop 72.4.
- the counter-stop 37.2 is attached to the actuator 37. As soon as the stop 72.4 contacts the counter-stop 37.2, the actuator 72 is adjusted against the damping effect of the damper 71. In this way, the closing movement of the furniture fitting 10 can be dampened.
- the point at which the damping becomes effective can be individually set by the user.
- the damping effect kicks in relatively late with the selected setting, whereas with the one in Figure 11
- the illustration shows that the damping force takes effect earlier. This damping prevents the door or flap from slamming shut during the closing movement.
- FIG 12 This indicates that a tension spring 74 with the actuating arrangement 70 can be installed instead of the damper 71.
- the tension spring 74 is designed as a compression spring and has support surfaces 74.1 and 74.2 on opposite sides.
- the support surface 74.1 rests against the base 73.3 and the support surface 74.2 against the stop 72.4 when the tension spring 74 is inserted into the receptacle 72.2.
- the tension spring 74 spreads the actuating element 72 relative to the holder 73. Accordingly, the actuating element 72 can be pushed into the holder 73 against the force of the tension spring 74.
- the actuating arrangement 70 assists the opening movement of the furniture fitting 10. Accordingly, the actuating element 72 presses against the counter-stop 37.2. The assistance of the opening movement continues until the actuating element 72 is in its fully extended position.
- the furniture fitting 10 can be designed such that the actuating element 38 is connected to the mounting position 36.3 and the actuating arrangement 70 is equipped with the tension spring 74.
- the spring element 38.2 of the actuating element 38 causes an initial opening movement. This is assisted by the tension spring 74.
- the tension spring 74 remains effective and causes further opening until the furniture fitting 10 reaches a partially open position or, more preferably, is in a fully open position.
- the furniture fitting 10 can be designed such that the damper 71 is installed with the adjusting arrangement 70.
- the adjusting element 38 is then preferably connected to the second mounting position 36.4.
- the second mounting position 36.4 is located above the horizontal line passing through the pivot point of the 7th joint 36.1. Accordingly, a counterclockwise torque is applied to the connecting element 36 by the spring element 38.2. Due to this torque, the adjusting element pushes the furniture fitting 10 into the closed position during the last part of its adjustment travel. This closing movement occurs against the damping effect of the adjusting arrangement 70, which then rests against the counter-stop 37.2. In the closed position, the adjusting element 38, together with the spring element 38.2, holds the connecting element 36 under tension in the closed position, thus securing it.
- the furniture fitting 10 has the holding device 40 with at least one spring element 43.
- the spring elements 43 are in the spring receptacle 44. arranged and pushed onto the support elements 45.
- the spring elements 43 act on the connecting element 41.
- the spring elements 43 are positioned slightly offset from the connecting element 41 to reveal the support elements 45. In reality, the ends of the spring elements 43 rest against the connecting element 41 in the operating position.
- the spring elements 43 exert a compressive force on the connecting element 41. This compressive force is transferred by the connecting element 41 in the plane of the drawing according to Figure 13 to adjust from the back of the furniture fitting 10 towards the front.
- the connecting element 41 is connected to the pivot lever 42 via the bearing 41.1.
- the pivot lever 42 in turn, is pivotally attached to the 10th joint 39.1. Accordingly, the pivot lever 42 is pivotally attached to the actuator 37.
- the actuator 37 is designed as a two-part lever. As the drawings show, the actuator 37 has two spaced-apart sub-elements for this purpose, which, as in the present embodiment, can be formed from plate-shaped elements, in particular from sheet steel blanks.
- the fastening lever 31, the deflection levers 33, 34, the connecting element 36, the actuating lever 39 and/or the pivot lever 42 can have the same design principle.
- the adjusting device 37.3 has an adjusting element 37.4.
- the adjusting element 37.4 can be in the form of a screw.
- the screw has a screw head with a tool receptacle 37.6.
- a Torx screw or a common type of internal hexagon screw can be used.
- the adjusting element 37.4 is rotatably mounted about its central longitudinal axis on a bearing piece 37.5 in the area of the tool holder 37.6.
- the bearing piece 37.5 is pivotally attached to the actuator 37 by means of a swivel bearing 37.9.
- the swivel axis runs in Figure 14 perpendicular to the image plane.
- the threaded section of the adjusting element 37.4 is screwed into a threaded receptacle of an adjusting piece 37.8.
- the adjusting piece 37.8 is pivotally mounted on the pivot lever 42.
- the pivot axis of the adjusting piece 37.8 runs perpendicular to the image plane according to Figure 14
- the actuator 37.8 has guide projections. These project from opposite sides of the pivot lever 42.
- the guide projections are each inserted in a guide 37.7 of the actuator 37 and can be moved along the guide contour therein.
- a tool for example a screwdriver
- a tool can be inserted into the tool holder 37.6 from the front with the flap open, the insertion direction then being from the front to the back of the furniture fitting 10.
- the open position is in Figure 3 shown in contrast to the positioning according to the Figures 13 and 14
- the tool holder 37.6 is then arranged so that it is easily accessible from the front.
- the adjusting element 37.4 can then be rotated with the tool. Since the adjusting element 37.4 engages in the threads of the adjusting piece 37.8, the adjusting piece 37.8 and, with it, the pivot lever 42 are adjusted.
- the guide projections of the adjusting piece 37.8 also move within the guides 37.7, for example, as shown in the drawing. Figure 14 from left to right.
- the pivot lever 42 is rotated around the axis of rotation of the 10th joint 39.1.
- This also involves the Bearing 41.1 is adjusted.
- bearing 41.1 forms the force application point where the force from the holding device 40 is introduced into the linkage chain via the pivot lever 42 and the actuating element 37 by means of the second adjusting lever 39.
- the spring elements 43 are relieved of some of their load, thus reducing their preload. This results in a reduced clamping force. In this way, the flap holder can be adjusted for lighter flap weights.
- the pivot lever 42 pivots as described above. This pivoting of the pivot lever 42 also causes the adjusting element 37.4 to pivot about the pivot bearing 37.9. Furthermore, the adjusting element 37.4 also pivots relative to the pivotally mounted adjusting piece 37.8.
- the holding force generated by the holding device 40 is introduced into the joint chain of the furniture fitting 10.
- this linkage chain is formed by the stationary 6th joint 35.1, the stationary 7th joint 36.1, as well as the 1st joint 32.1, the 2nd joint 32.2, the 3rd joint 33.1, the 4th joint 34.1 and the 5th joint 34.2 and the fastening lever 31, the two deflection levers 33, 34, the joint lever 35, and the connecting element 36.
- the fastening lever 31 (and with it a flap coupled to it) can be pivoted between an open and a closed position.
- the actuator 37 serves on the one hand with the 2nd lever arm of the actuator 37 to receive the first actuating lever 38 and on the other lever arm to receive the adjusting device 37.3.
- the holding force generated by the holding device 40 is introduced into the linkage chain via the 2nd actuating lever 39.
- the actuating lever 39 is pivotable together with the actuating element 37 and the pivoting lever 42 about a common axis of rotation, this axis of rotation being formed by the 10th joint 39.1.
- the counter-stop 37.2 can also be used to limit the opening movement of the flap holder in the open position.
- the counter-stop strikes a lever, for example in this case the pivot lever 42, laterally when it is in the open position.
- the Figures 13 and 14 The drawings also show that the flap stay has a compact design.
- the retaining device 40 is arranged behind the hinge chain in the direction shown in the drawings, which runs from left to right, i.e., from the stop side to the opposite rear side.
- the mounting element 100 has a contact piece 102, from which a stop 101 is angled.
- a retaining element 103 is held on the contact piece 102.
- the mounting element 100 is preferably manufactured as a single-piece injection-molded plastic part.
- the mounting element 100 serves as an assembly aid.
- the furniture fitting 10 can be attached to a furniture carcass 110.
- the furniture carcass 110 has a conventional construction. It has two parallel side walls 111 and a top wall 112 that connects the two side walls 111.
- the side walls 111 have a front surface 113 in the area of the furniture opening.
- the top wall 112 has a bottom surface 114.
- the mounting element 100 is first connected to the mounting piece 80.
- Figure 25 The figure shows the mounting piece 100 with its retaining element 103 hooked onto the counterpart element 85.
- the retaining element 103 is inserted behind the retaining section 85.2 of the counterpart element 85 so that it holds itself in place.
- the retaining element 100 can be positioned against the furniture carcass 110 so that the stop 101 rests on the front surface 113 of the associated side panel 111.
- the mounting piece 80 rests with its furniture mounting side 81.3 on the inside of the side panel 111.
- the two support sections 81.2 rest against the underside 114 of the top panel 112.
- the mounting piece 80 is precisely aligned in the desired drilling template position.
- the two openings 89 can be used to drill the holes at the desired location.
- a drill bit is inserted through the openings 89 and the borehole is made in the side wall 111.
- the mounting piece 80, with its two projections 88, can then be inserted into the previously drilled holes. In doing so, the mounting piece 80 is moved slightly downwards from the underside 114 of the top wall 112.
- the now precisely aligned mounting piece 80 can then be As described above, the remaining fitting part is attached to the side wall 111 with additional fastening screws 90 or 91. Finally, as described above, the remaining fitting part is fixed to the mounting piece 80 with the fastening section 51, 53.
