Description

The present invention relates to a product presentation system comprising a device for presenting goods with a base frame and a rear wall unit that is or can be connected to the base frame. When the rear wall unit is connected to the base frame, the device has an L-shaped cross-section in a side view. Shelves on which goods can be placed for presentation can be attached to the rear wall unit.

In many cases, devices for the presentation and/or storage of goods are furnishings that are not permanently installed in a sales outlet, but must be made available when needed, for example for special sales campaigns.

Devices for the presentation and/or storage of goods are known from the prior art. One such device is described, for example, in DE 20 2020 106 573 U1 , the US 5 193 466 A , the US 6 758 352 B2 , the DE 295 09 111 U1 and the DE 295 10 994 U1 shown.

The object of the present invention is to provide a product presentation system that is flexible in use and easy to operate.

The task is solved by the fact that the product presentation system also includes two side panels, a front panel and a base. The side panels and the front panel can be attached to the merchandise display device in such a way that, together with the rear wall unit, they form a merchandise receiving space delimited on at least three sides by the side parts and the rear wall unit. The base shelf can be positioned on the side parts, the front panel and/or the merchandise display device, in particular the base frame, in such a way that it delimits the merchandise receiving space at the bottom. The merchandise display system can be converted from a shelf-like merchandise display device to a device with a merchandise receiving space delimited on at least three sides and at the bottom.

This creates a product presentation system that can be flexibly adapted to changing product presentation needs in a sales room. A shelf-like device for product presentation with a base frame and a rear wall unit to which shelves can be attached can be easily converted to provide a product receiving space that is delimited on at least three sides and at the bottom. The product presentation device is suitable for presenting goods that are preferably presented and/or stored in a shelf-like arrangement. It can be easily converted for the presentation or storage of goods that are to be presented and/or stored in a product receiving space like a sales or transport container.

According to the invention, the side parts are pivotably attached to the rear wall unit. By pivotally arranging the side parts on the rear wall unit, they can be easily moved from a use position, in which they laterally delimit a merchandise receiving space, to a non-use position and back again. The side parts are firmly and securely connected to the rear wall unit. The side parts can thus be easily and securely secured even in the use position. In particular, the side parts are each pivotably connected to the rear wall unit via at least one hinge, whereby the side parts can each be raised in the vertical direction. Particularly preferably, the hinges have stops that limit the movement of the side parts in the vertical direction. Due to the vertically movable arrangement, the side parts can be easily engaged or disengaged from the base frame when bolt connections are used to connect them to the base frame. The merchandise presentation system can be converted flexibly and easily. The side parts always remain attached to the device and are therefore easy to find for conversion and can be stowed away when not in use.

Particularly preferably, the rear wall unit has a movably arranged, in particular removable, rear wall element, wherein the rear wall element can be transferred from a presentation position into a side part storage position, in which the at least one side part can be pivoted into the rear wall unit, wherein the rear wall element can be positioned in front of the side part pivoted into the rear wall unit in the presentation position. Advantageously, the base floor is constructed as a wire mesh. A wire mesh base floor is simple and cost-effective to manufacture and easy to handle. Furthermore, any contaminants can be drawn through a wire mesh base floor to the salesroom floor.

Preferably, the base shelf can be positioned at different heights. This allows the goods receiving space to be easily adapted to accommodate different goods. The base floor preferably has movably arranged handles that can be moved between a handling position and a stowed position. The base floor can be easily raised to different heights using the handles. Preferably, the base plate comprises a plurality of steel strips aligned parallel to one another and arranged vertically, with the base frame having recesses into which the steel strips of the base frame can be inserted. Preferably, the product presentation system comprises a scanner rail that can be fixed to the base. Information regarding the presented goods, in particular the price, can be arranged on a scanner rail. The scanner rail can be used in the shelf-like configuration with the base shelf placed on the base frame and can be removed if the base shelf is used to define the goods storage space.

The base frame is preferably designed as a tubular frame construction with a rectangular support surface when viewed from above. The base frame can be manufactured in a simple and cost-effective manner. Particularly preferably, the base frame delimits a rectangular base frame receiving space on three sides. For this purpose, the base frame leaves the base frame receiving space open on one side. Particularly preferably, a collision protection device is arranged in the area of the rollers, in particular the front rollers. Fig. 1 shows a product presentation system 2 according to the invention with a base frame 4 and a rear wall unit 6. Retail display system (2) comprising a device for displaying goods with a base frame (4) and with a rear wall unit (6) which is connected or can be connected to the base frame (4), so that the base frame (4) and the rear wall unit (6) have an L-shaped cross-section in a side view, wherein shelves (16) can be fixed to the rear wall unit (6), wherein the retail display system (2) comprises two side parts (30), a front panel (20) and a base shelf (28), wherein the side parts (30) and the front panel (20) can be fixed to the device in such a way that, together with the rear wall unit (6), they form a goods receiving space delimited by the side parts (30) and the rear wall unit (20) at least on three sides, wherein the base shelf (28) can be positioned on the side parts (30), the front panel (20) and/or the device to delimit the goods receiving space at the bottom, wherein the side parts (30) are each pivotably fixed to the rear wall unit (6), wherein the retail display system (2) can be converted from a shelf-like device for goods display to a device having a goods receiving space for goods display that is delimited at least on three sides and at the bottom.

Retail display system according to Claim 1, characterized in that the rear wall unit (6) has at least one movably arranged, in particular removable rear wall element (26), wherein at least one side part (30) is pivotable into the rear wall unit (6) when the rear wall element (26) is moved out of the way, in such a way that the rear wall element (26) can be positioned in front of the side part (30) pivoted into the rear wall unit (6).
3. Retail display system according to Claim 2, characterized in that the side parts (30) each comprise two side part elements (34) connected to one another in a pivotable manner.
4. Retail display system according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the base shelf (28) can be fixed to the side parts (30) in a height-adjustable manner.
5. Retail display system according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the front panel (20) can be fixed in a position of non-use directly in front of the rear wall unit (6).

Retail display system according to Claim 5, characterized in that the front panel (20) has a lower front panel element (22) and an upper front panel element (24), which are arranged one above the other in the vertical direction in a position of use of the front panel (20), and wherein the upper front panel element (24) is arranged movably in the vertical direction.
7. Retail display system according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the retail display system (2) comprises a scanner rail (36) which can be detachably fixed to the base shelf (28).

Retail display system according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that stowage space is provided at the rear wall unit (6) with storage options for the base shelf (28), the side parts (30), for any scanner rail (36) and/or for any shelves (16) of the retail display system (2) as well as any accessories to be used with the shelves (16), such as fastening means (14), separating grids and/or edging grids, in particular wherein the aforementioned elements when not in use can be stowed away completely without protrusion in the stowage space.
