Abstract

La présente invention est relative en particulier à un dispositif de détermination de qualité de signal (300) qui comprend une unité d'émission-réception configurée pour fournir un signal de demande de balise sans fil en tant que signal de diffusion à un seul bond indiquant une demande à n'importe quel dispositif de communication sans fil (312.1, 312.2, 340) dans une distance de saut unique à partir du dispositif de détermination de qualité de signal et appartenant ou non à un réseau de communication sans fil (350) auquel appartient le dispositif de détermination de qualité de signal, pour fournir un signal de réponse de balise respectif lors de la réception du signal de demande de balise, et pour recevoir les signaux de réponse de balise. Le dispositif de détermination de qualité de signal est configuré pour déterminer des données de qualité (SQ) de signal de balise indiquant une qualité de signal reçu, par exemple une RSSI du signal de réponse de balise ou une CSI d'état de canal d'une liaison de communication sans fil respective. Le dispositif de détermination de qualité de signal est approprié pour permettre une réduction de la complexité dans une fonction de détection de présence ou de mouvement basée sur une radiofréquence.
