Description
- The present invention relates to a cooker comprising a burner connection member.
- In cookers, burner groups which enclose burners are generally mounted to the cooker by being adhered from above or below or by means of burner connection members fixed to the burner plate by using mechanical connection members. As a result of the fixing of the burner connection members to the burner plate by means of mechanical connection members, a very strong connection is established between the burner plate and the burner connection member. However, the mechanical connection members used make the mounting difficult and increase the cost of the cooker. Fixing the burner connection members to the burner table by adhesion provides ease of mounting with respect to the use of mechanical connection members. However, since both burner plates and burner connection members have a metallic structure, the connection between the two metallic structures provided by an adhesive cannot withstand high forces. Therefore, the connection between the burner plate and burner connection group, which are fixed to each other by adhesion, weakens over time and ultimately causes the burner connection member to break off from the burner plate. This situation causes user dissatisfaction.
- In the state of the art Turkish Patent Document No.
, a cooker is disclosed, comprising a burner connection member having a holder. The state of the art Chinese patent documentsTR2017/06558 CN 106556034 A andCN 2453265 Y both disclose a cooker comprising a burner, wherein a glued assembly of some components is present. - The aim of the present invention is the realization of a cooker comprising a burner connection member which can be mounted in an easy and durable manner.
- The oven realized in order to attain the aim of the present invention, explicated in the first claim and the respective claims thereof, comprises at least one burner connection member which supports the burner group thereon, which is preferably produced from metallic material and which is fixed by being adhered to the support plate disposed under the burner plate and having high force bearing properties preferably like glass or ceramic. By adhering the metallic burner connection member to the glass or ceramic support plate preferably by using silicone adhesive, the connection between the burner connection member and the support plate can withstand forces of, for example, 400-500 Newtons. Thus, the burner connection member is prevented from breaking off easily, eliminating the resulting user dissatisfaction.
- According to the present invention, the width of the second opening provided on the support plate is smaller than the width of the first opening provided on the burner plate. In the preferred embodiment of the present invention, the burner plate and the support plate are connected to each other by preferably aligning the centers of the first opening and the second opening. In the preferred embodiment of the present invention, the first opening and the second opening are circular, and in this embodiment, the diameter of the first opening is larger than the diameter off the second opening. Thus, after the burner plate and the support plate are fixed to each other, for example by adhesion, the surface of the support plate facing the burner plate and remaining between the first opening and the second opening is readily accessible from the outside before the connection of the burner connection member is performed.
- According to the present invention, the burner connection member is fixed to the support plate by being adhered on the surface of the support plate facing the burner plate and remaining between the first opening and the second opening. Thus, the adhesive is easily applied to the relevant surface of the support plate, which is easily accessible from the outside before the burner connection member is placed during assembly, and after the adhesive is applied to the relevant surface, the burner connection member is placed on said surface and is adhered to said surface.
- In an embodiment of the invention, the burner connection member comprises a skirt which enables the burner connection member to be adhered to the support plate, and at least one extension which defines at least one gap between the skirt and the support plate and which receives the adhesive therein. In the preferred embodiment of the present invention, the skirt has a round shape extending along the entire circumference of the burner connection member at the lower side of the burner connection member, and the extension extends outwardly along the skirt from the end of the skirt not connected to the burner connection member. In this embodiment, the adhesive which enables the burner connection member to be joined with the support plate is stored in the gap and the adhesive is prevented from leaking out of the gap by means of the extension.
- In an embodiment of the present invention, the extension bears against the burner plate from the end thereof not connected to the skirt. In this embodiment, the adhesive which enables the burner connection member to be joined with the support plate and which is stored in the gap is prevented from leaking onto the burner plate. Thus, during the assembly or in the course of time no dirt is created on the burner plate due to the adhesive and visual advantage is provided.
- By means of the present invention, by adhering the one burner connection member which supports the burner group thereon and which is preferably produced from metallic material to the support plate which is fixed to the underside of the burner plate and which is produced from a material preferably such as glass or ceramic with high force bearing properties, even if the burner connection member is subjected to relatively high forces, for example 400 - 500 Newtons, the same is prevented from breaking off from the support plate, thus ensuring user satisfaction.
