Definitions
- the present invention relates to the field of hairdressing accessories and in particular heated hairdressing accessories extending longitudinally along an axis between a proximal end and a distal end, said accessory comprising a gripping end piece which is at least partially hollow and extends longitudinally along and around the axis and assembled on said distal end, said gripping end piece being designed to be grasped by the user of the accessory.
- the curlers (or "curlers" according to the English expression) which comprise a handle and a heating mandrel, generally cylindrical.
- the chuck can be fixed vis-à-vis the handle or mobile in rotation and motorized vis-à-vis the handle.
- the user of the device is obliged to turn the handle, and therefore his hand, of the device to wrap the hair around the mandrel.
- the rotation of the chuck is motorized and the user does not have to turn his hand.
- the mandrel is heated to a high temperature (of the order of 100° C. to 250° C. so that it is impossible for the user to touch this mandrel. Consequently, the user is forced to use the hairdressing device with one hand, which makes the hairdressing operation difficult and will quickly tire the user, especially if his hair is long.
- the mandrel may comprise a plurality of bristles or pins, in the manner of a brush (one then speaks of a rotating brush). The latter will then, on coming into contact with the hair, generate tensile forces which are expressed in the form of a radial force on the mandrel, and therefore on the gripping endpiece described above. The gripping end piece will then become integral in rotation with the mandrel, which will exert unpleasant friction on the user's hand.
- this type of device is sometimes used by users to perform hair straightening.
- the user must manipulate the device from the scalp towards the ends of the hair, by applying a fairly substantial traction on the latter in order to smooth them.
- the radial force applied to the chuck and to a possible gripping endpiece is then significant, and the known gripping endpieces tend to block and become integral with the chuck or the brush.
- the known end piece mentioned above could detach from the mandrel, which could lead to the risk of burns for the user.
- FR 2 493 689 A1 also describes a hairdressing accessory.
- the present invention aims to overcome the aforementioned drawbacks.
- An object of the invention is to provide a hairdressing appliance which is particularly simple and intuitive to use.
- An object of the invention is to provide a hairdressing appliance which is particularly comfortable to use, whatever the mode of use of the hairdressing appliance.
- Another object of the invention is to provide a hairdressing appliance which is particularly safe to use.
- Another object of the invention is to provide a hairdressing device which is particularly compact and ergonomic.
- Another object of the invention is to provide a hairdressing device which is particularly reliable and robust.
- Another object of the invention is to provide a hairdressing appliance which is inexpensive and simple to manufacture.
- heating hairdressing accessory any accessory capable of transferring heat to the hair, whether by convection, by conduction or by radiation, or otherwise.
- the accessory can be passively heated, i.e. it does not include an element producing heat in its own right: the accessory is then heated thanks to the heat it receives, for example from a hot fluid passing through it.
- the accessory can also be actively heating, that is to say that it itself comprises an element producing heat in its own right, such as for example an electrical resistance.
- grip end piece is meant any element allowing the user to manipulate the heating accessory without the risk of burning himself or of discomfort.
- the gripping endpiece is substantially cold, that is to say it is isolated from the heating hairdressing accessory so as to remain at an acceptable temperature in order to be able to be manipulated directly by hand.
- the temperature of the grip tip does not exceed 40°C to 50°C.
- distal and proximal can preferably be understood with respect to a direction of flow of a fluid which would pass through the accessory, as will be detailed subsequently.
- the invention aims to provide a gripping endpiece which is mounted in rotation, that is to say in rotation, relative to the accessory with optimized rotational guidance.
- the distal end which extends inside and in contact with the gripping tip makes it possible to multiply the points of contact between said distal end and the gripping tip along the longitudinal axis, which allows to improve the guidance in rotation, in particular by avoiding the phenomenon of buttressing which could appear in the event of radial forces applied to the gripping end piece, when the guidance in rotation is only carried out at a single point , as is the case in known devices.
- the invention thus makes it possible in particular to remarkably facilitate the use of hairdressing appliances, and in particular hairdressing appliances of the rotary brush or curler type, by allowing the user to safely grasp the gripping endpiece which remains cold. (Or at least at a temperature quite acceptable to be able to be grasped directly by hand) the gripping endpiece remaining fixed in his hand despite the rotation of the chuck or the brush and despite the presence of significant radial forces.
- radial force or radial forces is meant one or more forces which are oriented in a direction radial to the mandrel or of the brush, that is to say along a radius of the mandrel if the latter has a shape of revolution, or even substantially perpendicular to its longitudinal axis, i.e. its axis of revolution or rotation.
- an axial force is a force oriented along the longitudinal axis of the mandrel or of the brush.
- the hairdressing accessory is intended to be removably assembled on a hairdressing device, and more precisely on the main body of this hairdressing device, as will be detailed below.
- said accessory is designed to be, after assembly on the main body, driven in rotation by the hairdressing appliance, in order to give the accessory a rotational movement relative to the hairdressing appliance, and therefore also by relative to the gripping tip.
- the hairdressing appliance and the gripping endpiece of the accessory remain fixed while the accessory is rotating.
- the proximal end is intended to be assembled with the main body, that is to say to be mounted on the main body as will be detailed later.
- the contact between the gripping tip and the distal end of the accessory is a surface or linear contact, that is to say a continuous contact. We can then speak of an infinity of contact points.
- the contact between the gripping endpiece and the distal end comprises a plurality of distinct and different point contact points, for example by using balls interposed between the two parts.
- the gripping tip comprises a substantially cylindrical cap and the distal end comprises a circular guide rib extending longitudinally along the axis XX' inside and in contact with said cap so as to define a cylindrical contact surface between the gripping tip and the accessory.
- the rotational guidance of the gripping endpiece vis-à-vis the accessory is achieved by means of a sliding pivot connection consisting of two cylinders nested one inside the other. This construction makes it possible to absorb significant radial forces, even if these latter are applied cantilevered, that is to say outside the zone carrying out the rotational guidance, for example at the level of the end. free from the gripping tip.
- the cylindrical contact surface between the gripping tip and the accessory, or more precisely between the gripping tip and the distal end, or even according to the previous preferred embodiment, between the cap and the guide rib has a length of between 2 mm and 15 mm, advantageously between 4 mm and 10 mm and is preferably equal to 6 mm. These dimensions have been judiciously studied to guarantee good guidance in rotation while limiting the size of the device. Furthermore, such a cylindrical contact surface makes it possible to ensure good heat exchange between the distal end and the gripping tip.
- the accessory is a hollow accessory forming an air circulation chamber, said proximal end comprises an air inlet and said distal end comprises a plug.
- the air inlet then allows air to penetrate inside the accessory while the plug prevents the air from exiting axially from the accessory and forces the latter to exit through radial openings.
- the cap is then mounted fixed relative to the accessory, by any suitable means, such as for example by clipping, screwing, gluing, welding, etc. Consequently, the gripping endpiece is therefore rotatable relative to the stopper.
- the stopper is mounted so as to be rotatable relative to the accessory, so that in this case, the gripping tip can be mounted fixed vis-à-vis of the cap.
- the distal end comprises a rotational drive device designed to transfer a rotational movement from a hairdressing appliance on which the accessory is installed to the accessory.
- the distal end is designed to receive a rotational torque from a hairdressing device and to transfer this rotational torque to the accessory, in order to impart a rotational movement to the latter.
- the stopper has a shape of revolution around the axis and the rotation drive device extends longitudinally along the axis through the stopper. It is then the cap which comprises the rotary drive device and will transmit the rotational torque to the accessory.
- the rotary drive device extends over the entire length of the stopper, that is to say that it crosses it right through.
- the rotation drive device comprises splines.
- splines One could of course imagine in an alternative or complementary manner other means of driving in rotation such as for example a key, a pin, or even a particular form of bore such as for example a bore of square, rectangular, cruciform section, etc. .
- said accessory comprises an axial holding device designed to prevent any relative translation between the gripping tip and the distal end.
- the grip end piece cannot move longitudinally relative to the accessory, which in particular makes it possible to avoid any unexpected disassembly of the grip end piece from the accessory.
- this also makes it possible to be able to handle the accessory only via the gripping endpiece, including during assembly and disassembly operations of a hairdressing appliance, which is very useful when the accessory is still hot.
- the axial holding device forms a second guidance in rotation of the gripping endpiece relative to the accessory, for example by proposing a guidance of the pivot connection type, which makes it possible to improve the guidance in rotation of the gripping tip relative to the accessory.
- the gripping endpiece is guided in rotation in two different and distinct places along the longitudinal axis, which allows the gripping endpiece to withstand significant radial forces while remaining perfectly mobile and guided in rotation with respect to the accessory.
- the axial holding device comprises a circular ring secured to the gripping endpiece and placed in a circular guide groove within the stopper.
- the gripping endpiece comprises a mobile hooking device between an open position designed to allow assembly or disassembly of the accessory on a hairdressing appliance and a closed position designed to hold the accessory with the hairdressing device.
- the gripping endpiece as defined by the invention can preferably also perform a function of assembling the accessory on a hairdressing device. This grouping together of the rotational guidance and assembly functions within the gripping endpiece is quite clever since it makes it possible to be able to assemble or disassemble the accessory of a hairdressing appliance, including when this accessory is still hot and therefore cannot be handled directly by hand.
- the closed position is advantageously a rest position.
- the attachment device naturally returns to the closed position, which makes it possible to permanently guarantee the correct assembly of the accessory on the hairdressing appliance.
- the gripping end piece can comprise a locking button allowing the attachment device to move between its open and closed positions.
- the locking button can be a push button or a lever making it possible to act directly and mechanically on the attachment device, and this in a very intuitive way for the user.
- the hooking device advantageously forms a guide in rotation between the gripping endpiece and a hairdressing device, which makes it possible to further improve the quality of the guiding in rotation of the gripping endpiece, in particular by increasing its resistance to radial forces.
- the gripping endpiece comprises a gripping relief, which makes it possible to prevent the gripping endpiece from slipping from the fingers of the user.
- the accessory forms a tube intended to receive preferentially hot air inside it, said tube comprising a radial air outlet for ejecting the air.
- the accessory also comprises bristles or spikes distributed over its entire outer surface. The accessory thus forms, for example, a rotary brush.
- the invention also relates to a hairdressing appliance, such as for example a rotary blower brush, comprising an accessory as defined previously, said accessory being assembled with a main body of the hairdressing device.
- a hairdressing appliance such as for example a rotary blower brush
- an accessory 2 is an accessory of a device hairstyle which constitutes a rotary blower brush.
- This type of device well known as such, makes it possible to combine the operations of drying and styling the hair. Indeed, as will be described later, the device can simultaneously blow air, possibly heated beforehand, and grip and set the hair in motion in order to give them a shape, and in particular a wave. or a loop.
- the invention is in no way limited to this embodiment and may relate to any other hairdressing appliance, such as hair dryers, the construction of which, the problems and the issues described below are relatively relatives.
- upstream means “before” or “at the beginning”
- downstream means “after” or “at the end”
- proximal implies “close to the air inlet”
- distal implies “at a distance from the air inlet”.
- the hairdressing appliance comprises a main body 1 which itself advantageously comprises an outer shell 12, preferably forming a gripping zone for the user, such as for example a handle or a handle.
- a main body 1 which would not necessarily constitute a handle such as for example a barrel of a hair dryer.
- the main body 1 extends longitudinally along an axis X-X'.
- the main body 1 has a shape of revolution around the X-X' axis, having for example the shape of a circular section tube.
- the main body 1 could take the form of a tube of oval, square, etc. section, the important thing being that the main body 1 is of hollow section to allow the accommodation of various components and the circulation of a air flow 3 as will be detailed later.
- an airflow 3 circulates inside the main body 1.
- This airflow 3 is set in motion by a motorized fan unit 13 disposed inside the main body 1 as can be seen in the figure 5 Where 6 .
- the air flow 3 is advantageously sucked through an air inlet 11 preferentially located at a proximal end of the main body 1.
- the air inlet 11 preferably comprises a first grid 111, advantageously removable in order to allow it to be cleaned.
- the air inlet 11 further comprises a second grid 112, preferably fixed in order to reinforce the operating safety of the device.
- this second grid 112 makes it possible to prevent the hair from penetrating inside the main body 1, even in the absence of the first removable grid 111.
- the openings of the second grid 112 are preferably larger than those of the first grid 111, for example, the first grid 111 comprises a plurality of holes of small diameters uniformly distributed over the entire surface of the first grid 111, while the second grid 112 comprises a plurality of open angular sectors.
- the air thus circulates inside the main body 1 from the air inlet 11 to an air outlet 191 advantageously coaxial with the air inlet 11.
- the motor-fan unit 13 used in the embodiment illustrated by the various figures therefore makes it possible to generate and set in motion the air flow 3.
- the motor-fan unit 13 comprises a propeller 131 which can be indifferently an axial (or helical) propeller as shown, a centrifugal propeller, a mixed flow propeller, or even a tangential propeller without departing from the scope of the invention.
- the propeller 131 is rotated by a motor 133 in a manner known as such.
- the hairdressing appliance comprises a heating device 18 intended to heat the air flow 3. More specifically, the heating device 18 is arranged inside the main body 1, downstream of the motorized fan unit 13. Thus, the air flow 3 set in motion by the motor-driven fan unit 13 is sucked in at ambient temperature through the air inlet 11 then passes through the heating device 18 which has the effect of heat the air flow 3 in order to eject hot air on the hair of the user in order to dry them on the one hand and to shape them on the other hand.
- the heating device 18 comprises a support of mica 182, or of any other insulating material, in the shape of a cross or an X as can be seen in the figure 5 and 6 .
- the heating device 18 further comprises a conductive wire (not shown) wound around the mica support 182. An electric current flows inside this wire which has the effect of producing heat by the Joule effect, as is well known as such in hairdressing appliances.
- the hairdressing appliance also comprises a hairdressing accessory 2, generally removably mounted on the main body 1.
- the hairdressing device comprises a plurality of accessories 2, for example two accessories, advantageously different from each other. It is thus possible for the user to choose which accessory he wants to use, depending on the shaping of the hair he wants, and to install it on the main body 1 of the device.
- the figure 1 illustrates two accessories 2 of different diameters, for example 38 mm and 50 mm, which makes it possible to produce waves or curls in the hair of different diameters but also to adapt to the length of the user's hair.
- the length of the accessories 2 does not vary and remains for example between 120 mm and 160 mm, being for example substantially equal to 140 mm.
- the accessory offers a useful length, that is to say a length intended to be in contact with the hair of the order of 100 mm.
- the hairdressing accessory 2 therefore extends longitudinally along the X-X' axis between a proximal end and a distal end according to the preferred dimensions above.
- the accessory 2 is rotatably mounted relative to the main body 1 so as to be able to wrap the hair around the accessory 2 to give it a shape, in particular a wave or curl.
- the accessory 2 is mounted coaxially to the main body 1.
- the accessory 2 comprises an air inlet 21 intended to cooperate with the air outlet 191 of the main body 1 so as to pass the air from the main body 1 to the accessory 2
- the proximal end comprises the air inlet 21.
- the accessory 2 also has a hollow shape, preferably a tube shape, thus defining an interior air circulation chamber.
- the accessory 2 further comprises an air outlet 23 radial designed to eject the air radially, that is to say substantially perpendicular to the axis X-X', as can be seen for example on the figure 1 .
- the accessory 2 forms a tube intended to receive preferentially hot air inside it, said tube comprising a radial air outlet 23 to eject the air.
- the air outlet 23 comprises a plurality of openings, in this case holes, the diameter of which can be variable depending on their position relative to the flow of air. air 3.
- the diameter of the various holes will decrease in the direction of the air flow 3: in other words, the holes with the largest diameters are located near the air inlet 21 while the smaller diameter holes are located opposite the air inlet 21, for example close to a gripping tip 24.
- the section of the openings of the air outlet 23 decreases according to the direction of flow of the air flow 3 within the accessory 2, which makes it possible to guarantee optimum hair drying efficiency insofar as the reduction in the section of the openings of the air outlet 23 compensates the pressure drop of the air flow 3 d ue to the increase in the distance from the motor-fan unit 13.
- the accessory 2 comprises an external mandrel 22, preferably made of a heat-conducting material such as a metallic material for example, in order to optimize the heat transfer to the hair, and thus improve the shaping.
- a heat-conducting material such as a metallic material for example
- the outer mandrel 22 then advantageously comprises the air outlet 23 described above.
- the accessory 2 is heated insofar as the flow of air 3 passing through it is itself heated by the heating device 18 as explained previously.
- the external mandrel 22 of the accessory 2 will make it possible to diffuse the heat transmitted by the flow of air 3 to the hair and therefore to allow the accessory 2 to give a shape to the hair.
- the main body 1 also advantageously comprises an accessory support 19 intended to accommodate and rotate one of said accessories 2.
- the accessory holder 19 extends longitudinally and coaxially to the main body 1, from the air outlet 191 to a distal end opposite the air inlet 11.
- the length of the accessory holder 19 is preferably substantially equal to the length of the accessories 2.
- the accessory support 19 advantageously comprises a housing 193 of substantially cylindrical shape.
- the accessory support 19 further comprises a motor unit 196, visible to figure 5 and 6 , remarkably arranged inside the casing 193.
- the motor unit 196 is arranged inside the accessory 2, more precisely in the interior chamber of the accessory 2.
- Said motor unit 196 is then intended to put in movement the accessory 2 installed on the accessory support 19 so that the accessory 2 is driven in a rotational movement around the longitudinal axis XX' and relative to the main body 1.
- the 196 power unit includes a 1961 electric motor and a 1962 transmission (or gearbox), as can be seen in the figure 10 .
- the gearbox 1962 is then coaxial and mounted at the end of the electric motor 1961.
- the gearbox 1962 is designed to reduce or modify the rotational movement of the electric motor 1961, and more particularly to reduce its speed of rotation while increasing its torque, as is well known as such, thus advantageously forming a geared motor.
- the accessory support 19 preferably comprises, at its distal end, a rotary drive device 194 intended to correspond with a complementary receiving device for the accessory 2 in order to transmit the rotational torque from the motor unit 196 towards the accessory 2.
- the rotation drive device 194 comprises, for example, grooves which correspond with grooves arranged inside the gripping endpiece 24 of the accessory 2.
- the accessory support 19 advantageously comprises a coupling device 195 located at a distal end of the accessory support 19 which comprises for example a groove or a circular groove made on a motor shaft 197.
- the accessory support 19 advantageously comprises a guide device 192 for the air flow 3 which extends longitudinally from the air outlet 191 and opposite the air inlet 11.
- This guide device 192 may for example include ribs or arches.
- the guide device 192 is integral with the main body 1.
- the guide device 192 is mounted substantially end to end with the heating device 18, without however being in contact with the latter so that the guide device 192 is not damaged by heat.
- the main body 1 also comprises a control and supply device 16 as can be seen for example in the figure 4 .
- this control and supply device 16 comprises in particular a speed switch 161 allowing the user to control the speed of rotation of the motor 133 and therefore the flow speed of the air flow. 3.
- this speed switch 161 is located near the air inlet 11 and the motor 133 and can take the form of a sliding switch with several positions.
- the main body 1 can also include a rotation switch 162 allowing the user to select the direction of rotation of the motor unit 196 and therefore to control the direction of rotation of the accessory 2 that he will have previously mounted on the accessory support 19 as described previously.
- This rotation switch 162 also makes it possible to control the starting or stopping of the motor unit 196 and therefore the starting or stopping of the accessory 2.
- the selection of the direction of rotation of accessory 2 allows the user to choose in which direction the waves or curls that he is going to create on his hair will be oriented.
- the rotation switch 162 is arranged close to the air outlet 191, that is to say close to the accessory 2 so as to be easily actuated by the user's thumb which allows the latter to accurately control the rotation and stopping of the motor unit 196 and therefore the rotation and stopping of the accessory 2 during its styling operation.
- the main body 1 also advantageously comprises a rotating cord 163 which allows the cord to rotate freely. power supply within the main body 1, thus not hindering the movements of the user.
- This device being well known as such, it is therefore not detailed here.
- the accessory 2 comprises a cold tip 24, 25 designed to remain at a temperature preferably not exceeding the ambient temperature of 50° C. and ideally not exceeding the ambient temperature of 5° C. to 15° C. which allows the user to be able to handle this cold tip directly by hand without the risk of burning themselves.
- the cold tip 24, 25 is therefore intended to be gripped by the user of the hairdressing appliance, advantageously having a temperature of between 20 and 50°C, preferably of the order of 30°C.
- the cold end 24, 25 extends at least partially around the motor unit 196 and more preferably around the transmission box 1962.
- at least a part of the motor unit 196 preferably at least a part of the transmission box 1962, is arranged inside the cold end 24, 25.
- the motor unit 196 and the cold end 24, 25 overlap over a certain length, which makes it possible to confer on the group engine 196 a cooling zone.
- the transmission box 1962 and the cold end 24, 25 are overlap over a certain length, which gives the 1962 gearbox a cooling zone.
- the engine unit 196 and preferably the transmission box 1962, can then dissipate its calories, including the calories received by the flow of hot air 3 which circulates inside the accessory 2 and around the engine unit 196 by through this cold end 24, 25.
- the heat exchange surface between the motor unit 196 and the open air is thus increased by the overlapping of the motor unit 196 and the cold end 24, 25.
- the motor unit 196 runs cooler, which can improve its reliability and lifespan.
- the heat exchange surface between the transmission box 1962 and the open air is thus increased by the overlapping of the transmission box 1962 and the cold end piece 24, 25.
- the transmission box 1962 heats up less, this which allows the lubricant it contains to retain all its properties and therefore to properly lubricate the gears of the 1962 transmission. The life of the latter is therefore improved, as well as its efficiency. In addition, the noise emitted by the latter can also be reduced and the risks of lubricant leakage are minimized.
- the cold end 24, 25, the motor unit 196 and the accessory 2 are all coaxial, and more precisely, the motor unit 196 is inside an interior chamber of the accessory 2.
- the cold end 24, 25, the motor unit 196 and the accessory 2 each extend longitudinally along the axis X-X'.
- the cold end 24, 25, the motor unit 196 and the accessory 2 also each extend radially around the axis X-X'.
- the cold end piece 24, 25 comprises two distinct sub-assemblies: a gripping end piece 24 and a stopper 25, the constructions of which are detailed below.
- the cold tip 24, 25 advantageously constitutes one end of the hairdressing device.
- the distal end of the accessory 2 comprises a plug 25, that is to say a part whose function is preferably to plug or close the distal end of the accessory 2, in particular in order to make this sealed end vis-à-vis the air flow 3.
- the cap 25 then forces the air flow 3 to take another outlet to leave the accessory 2, in this case the radial air outlet 23 as defined previously.
- the stopper 25 advantageously has a shape of revolution around the axis X-X', and more particularly a substantially cylindrical shape as can be seen in the figures 7 to 12 . Indeed, such a shape is particularly suitable for the rotation of the hairdressing accessory 2 as represented by the illustrated embodiment, namely an accessory 2 of a rotary blower brush.
- the plug 25 preferably comprises a first part 251 intended to be mounted on the accessory 2.
- the plug 25 is preferably mounted fixed relative to the accessory 2, for example using a plurality of tabs 2511 hooking intended to come into contact with the tube of the accessory 2.
- the plug 25 also advantageously comprises a guide flange 252 preferably forming a circular guide groove 253 within the plug, that is to say a zone circular hollow within the stopper 25.
- the distal end of the accessory, more precisely the plug 25 advantageously comprises a circular guide rib 254, that is to say the generatrix of which is a circle, which extends longitudinally along the axis X-X' .
- the cap 25 advantageously comprises a rotary drive device 255 designed to transfer a rotational movement from the hairdressing appliance on which the accessory 2 is installed to the accessory 2.
- the rotary drive device 255 is then intended to correspond with a complementary rotary drive device 194 belonging to the main body 1 of the hairdressing appliance, as will be detailed below.
- the rotary drive device 255 comprises splines, as shown, which correspond with other splines of said complementary device 194.
- Such a device allows the plug 25, that is to say at the distal end, to be able to drive the accessory 2 in rotation from the main body 1 of the hairdressing device.
- the rotary drive device 255 extends longitudinally along the axis XX' through the plug 25, which makes it possible to evenly distribute the rotary drive torque over at least part of the length of the cap 25. This also makes it possible to increase the potential heat exchange surface between the complementary device 194 integral with the motor unit 196 and the cap 25, and therefore indirectly the cooling of the motor unit 196.
- the first part 251, the tabs 2511, the guide flange 252, the guide groove 253, the guide rib 254 or even the complementary drive device 255 are coaxial with the axis XX' and preferably have the shapes of revolution around the X-X' axis.
- the cap 25, and more precisely the first part 251 extends at least partially in part around the motor group 196, so as to allow the cooling of the latter as explained above.
- the first part 251 extends around the motor unit over a length of between 1 mm and 50 mm, advantageously between 2 mm and 15 mm and is preferably equal to 6 mm.
- the cap 25 is in contact with the enveloping casing 193 and in contact with the motor unit 196 which therefore allows a heat exchange between the cap 25 and the motor unit 196, via the casing 193.
- the accessory 2 comprises a gripping endpiece 24 enabling the user to grasp the accessory 2, including when the latter is set in motion.
- this gripping tip is coaxial with the main body 1 and opposite the air inlet 11 of the latter, which allows good ergonomics of the device.
- the gripping tip 24 is at least partially hollow and extends longitudinally along and around the axis X-X'.
- the gripping tip 24 includes a cap 241 that is substantially cylindrical. Indeed, this form has ergonomic and economic qualities, in particular vis-à-vis its ease of manufacture.
- the gripping tip 24 is assembled on the distal end of the accessory 2, and more precisely on the plug 25 defined previously.
- the gripping tip is therefore designed to be gripped by the user of the accessory while being free to rotate relative to the accessory 2, which, as explained, allows the user to firmly grasp said tip with his fingers. grip without getting burned and despite the rotation of the accessory. Indeed, the free rotation of the gripping end piece with respect to the accessory 2 makes it possible to avoid any risk of friction between the hand of the user and the gripping end piece.
- the distal end of the accessory 2, and more specifically the plug 25, extends inside and in contact with the gripping endpiece 24, longitudinally along the axis X-X '.
- the distal end of the accessory 2 protrudes inside the gripping tip 24 and the distal end and the gripping tip are in contact with each other on a certain length along the X-X' axis. This allows the distal end to ensure rotational guidance of the gripping endpiece relative to the accessory at a plurality of points along the X-X' axis.
- the gripping tip extends, at least in part, along the axis X-X', around the distal end, and more precisely around the stopper 25.
- the contact between the gripping tip 24 and the distal end of the accessory 2, or more particularly the plug 25, is a surface contact.
- the gripping tip and the stopper 25 are in contact along a continuous surface.
- Such a contact makes it possible to improve the guidance in rotation of the gripping endpiece with respect to the accessory 2 in particular by distributing the radial forces well over the entire contact surface, which makes it possible to absorb said radial forces without compromising rotation of the gripping tip.
- the guide rib 254 of the cap 25 extends, longitudinally along the axis X-X', inside and in contact with said cap 241 so as to define a contact surface cylindrical between the gripping endpiece 24 and the accessory 2.
- the cylindrical contact surface has a length of between 2 mm and 15 mm, advantageously between 4 mm and 10 mm and is preferably equal to 6 mm.
- This length therefore corresponds to the length of contact between the gripping tip 24 and the cap 25, and therefore advantageously to the length of the guide rib 254, and has been optimized to guarantee good guidance in rotation of the tip of grip 24 vis-à-vis the accessory 2 while containing the size of these elements.
- this length but above all the surface contact surface, and preferably cylindrical, makes it possible to remarkably contribute to a good heat exchange between the cap 25 and the gripping tip 24 which comprises an exchange surface with the fresh air. consequent surrounding (notably thanks to its cylindrical shape).
- this preferably cylindrical contact surface contributes to cooling the cap 25 which in turn will allow the cooling of the motor group 196 as explained above.
- the diameter of the cylindrical contact surface that is to say the diameter of the guide rib 254 or of the cap 241 can be between 10 mm and 50 mm, being for example preferably substantially equal to 27 mm.
- the gripping endpiece comprises a gripping relief 2411, such as for example ridges, hollows, bumps or any other shape making it possible to prevent the user's fingers from slipping on the gripping endpiece 24.
- a gripping relief 2411 such as for example ridges, hollows, bumps or any other shape making it possible to prevent the user's fingers from slipping on the gripping endpiece 24.
- the gripping tip 24 comprises a circular ring 2412 integral with the gripping tip 24 and preferably located at a proximal end of the gripping tip.
- the gripping tip comprises a circular rib projecting radially with respect to the cap 241.
- This ring 2412 is designed to fit into the guide groove 253 defined previously, that is to say under the guide flange 252.
- the ring 2412 arranged in the guide groove 253 thus achieves in a quite remarkable manner a stop in translation along the axis X-X'.
- the ring 2412, the guide groove 253 and the guide plate 252 together produce an axial holding device to prevent any relative translation between the gripping endpiece 24 and the distal end of the accessory 2
- the ring 2412 cannot translate within the guide groove 253, but it can rotate along the axis X-X', which makes it quite cleverly possible to produce a second guide device in rotation of the gripping piece 24 with respect to the accessory 2. Thanks to this second rotation guide, distinct from the first rotation guide, the distribution of the axial forces is even better distributed which further improves the rotational guidance of the gripping end piece with respect to the accessory.
- the diameter of the ring 2412, and therefore of the guide groove 253 is substantially equal to 34 mm.
- the gripping endpiece 24 comprises a hooking device 242 designed to interact with the main body 1 of the hairdressing accessory, and more precisely to allow the assembly or disassembly (that is to say the assembly or dismantling) of the accessory 2 on the main body 1 of the hairdressing device.
- the hooking device 242 is advantageously movable between an open position designed to allow the assembly or disassembly of the accessory 2 on a hairdressing appliance and a closed position designed to keep the accessory 2 assembled with the hairdressing device.
- the closed position is a rest position which makes it possible to permanently guarantee (except during the disassembly phases of course) the correct attachment of the accessory 2 to the main body 1 of the hairdressing device.
- the attachment device 242 comprises, as can be seen in the figures 10 to 12 , an elastic locking device 2422 intended to correspond with the coupling device 195 of the accessory holder 19 of the main body 1 of the hairdressing device. More precisely, the elastic locking device 2422 can be inserted into a groove of the coupling device 195 so as to constitute a stop in translation along the axis X-X'.
- the resilient locking device 2422 may be a spring similar in shape to the capital Greek letter Omega ⁇ .
- the attachment device 242 also comprises a frame 2423 whose general shape is that of a capital U.
- the frame 2423 makes it possible to hold the elastic locking device 2422 in place within the gripping endpiece 24 by means of an axis (not shown) passing through a hole 2426 of the frame 2423 and the elastic locking device 2422.
- the hole 2426 is located in the center of the non-parallel bar of the U, while the parallel bars of the U are in contact with the cap 241 in order to position the frame 2423 in the middle and inside the cap 241.
- the device snapping 242 includes a locking button 2421 which allows, by acting directly on the elastic locking device 2422, to move the attachment device 242 between its open and closed positions.
- the attachment device 242 also includes a support 2425 of arcuate shape that is movable relative to the frame 2423.
- a spring 2424 is arranged along each of the parallel bars of the U of the frame 2423 between the frame 2423 and the support 2425.
- the support 2425 is mounted to slide with respect to the frame 2423 thanks to a sliding device 2427 comprising a groove made in each of the parallel bars of the U of the frame 2423 and two tabs integral with the support 2425.
- the support 2423 pushed back by the two springs 2424, makes it possible to maintain locking button 2421 in a position corresponding to the closed position, for example by being flush with the gripping tip.
- the attachment device 242 forms a guide in rotation between the gripping endpiece 24 and a device. hairstyle.
- Such an architecture further improves the distribution of the radial forces applied to the gripping endpiece by transferring them in part onto the hairdressing device, which further improves the rotational guidance of the gripping endpiece.

Description
The present invention relates to the field of hairdressing accessories and in particular heated hairdressing accessories extending longitudinally along an axis between a proximal end and a distal end, said accessory comprising a gripping end piece which is at least partially hollow and extends longitudinally along and around the axis and assembled on said distal end, said gripping end piece being designed to be grasped by the user of the accessory.
Many hairdressing appliances are known which blow hot air to enable users to dry the hair and/or to shape it.
For example, mention can be made first of all of the curlers (or "curlers" according to the English expression) which comprise a handle and a heating mandrel, generally cylindrical. Depending on the devices, the chuck can be fixed vis-à-vis the handle or mobile in rotation and motorized vis-à-vis the handle. In the first case, the user of the device is obliged to turn the handle, and therefore his hand, of the device to wrap the hair around the mandrel. In the second case, the rotation of the chuck is motorized and the user does not have to turn his hand.
During the styling operation, the mandrel is heated to a high temperature (of the order of 100° C. to 250° C. so that it is impossible for the user to touch this mandrel. Consequently, the user is forced to use the hairdressing device with one hand, which makes the hairdressing operation difficult and will quickly tire the user, especially if his hair is long.
However, such a radial force is relatively common when using hairdressing appliances. Indeed, the mandrel may comprise a plurality of bristles or pins, in the manner of a brush (one then speaks of a rotating brush).
In addition, this type of device is sometimes used by users to perform hair straightening. During this operation, the user must manipulate the device from the scalp towards the ends of the hair, by applying a fairly substantial traction on the latter in order to smooth them. In this case of use, the radial force applied to the chuck and to a possible gripping endpiece is then significant, and the known gripping endpieces tend to block and become integral with the chuck or the brush. Worse, in the event of too great a radial force, it seems that the known end piece mentioned above could detach from the mandrel, which could lead to the risk of burns for the user.
There is therefore a need to improve the experience of using these devices and their reliability.
The present invention aims to overcome the aforementioned drawbacks.
An object of the invention is to provide a hairdressing appliance which is particularly simple and intuitive to use.
An object of the invention is to provide a hairdressing appliance which is particularly comfortable to use, whatever the mode of use of the hairdressing appliance.
Another object of the invention is to provide a hairdressing appliance which is particularly safe to use.
Another object of the invention is to provide a hairdressing device which is particularly compact and ergonomic.
Another object of the invention is to provide a hairdressing device which is particularly reliable and robust.
Another object of the invention is to provide a hairdressing appliance which is inexpensive and simple to manufacture.
Ces objectifs sont atteints à l'aide d'un accessoire de coiffure chauffant selon la revendication 1.These objectives are achieved with the aid of a heating hairdressing accessory according to
By heating hairdressing accessory is meant any accessory capable of transferring heat to the hair, whether by convection, by conduction or by radiation, or otherwise. The accessory can be passively heated, i.e. it does not include an element producing heat in its own right: the accessory is then heated thanks to the heat it receives, for example from a hot fluid passing through it. The accessory can also be actively heating, that is to say that it itself comprises an element producing heat in its own right, such as for example an electrical resistance.
Par exemple, la température de l'embout de préhension de dépasse pas 40°C à 50°C.By grip end piece is meant any element allowing the user to manipulate the heating accessory without the risk of burning himself or of discomfort. Preferably, the gripping endpiece is substantially cold, that is to say it is isolated from the heating hairdressing accessory so as to remain at an acceptable temperature in order to be able to be manipulated directly by hand. For example, the temperature of the grip tip does not exceed 40°C to 50°C.
The expressions distal and proximal can preferably be understood with respect to a direction of flow of a fluid which would pass through the accessory, as will be detailed subsequently.
In other words, the invention aims to provide a gripping endpiece which is mounted in rotation, that is to say in rotation, relative to the accessory with optimized rotational guidance. Indeed, the distal end which extends inside and in contact with the gripping tip makes it possible to multiply the points of contact between said distal end and the gripping tip along the longitudinal axis, which allows to improve the guidance in rotation, in particular by avoiding the phenomenon of buttressing which could appear in the event of radial forces applied to the gripping end piece, when the guidance in rotation is only carried out at a single point , as is the case in known devices.
The invention thus makes it possible in particular to remarkably facilitate the use of hairdressing appliances, and in particular hairdressing appliances of the rotary brush or curler type, by allowing the user to safely grasp the gripping endpiece which remains cold. (Or at least at a temperature quite acceptable to be able to be grasped directly by hand) the gripping endpiece remaining fixed in his hand despite the rotation of the chuck or the brush and despite the presence of significant radial forces.
By radial force or radial forces is meant one or more forces which are oriented in a direction radial to the mandrel or of the brush, that is to say along a radius of the mandrel if the latter has a shape of revolution, or even substantially perpendicular to its longitudinal axis, i.e. its axis of revolution or rotation. Conversely, an axial force is a force oriented along the longitudinal axis of the mandrel or of the brush.
Preferably, the hairdressing accessory is intended to be removably assembled on a hairdressing device, and more precisely on the main body of this hairdressing device, as will be detailed below.
Advantageously, said accessory is designed to be, after assembly on the main body, driven in rotation by the hairdressing appliance, in order to give the accessory a rotational movement relative to the hairdressing appliance, and therefore also by relative to the gripping tip. In other words, the hairdressing appliance and the gripping endpiece of the accessory remain fixed while the accessory is rotating.
Advantageously, the proximal end is intended to be assembled with the main body, that is to say to be mounted on the main body as will be detailed later.
Advantageously, the contact between the gripping tip and the distal end of the accessory is a surface or linear contact, that is to say a continuous contact. We can then speak of an infinity of contact points.
Additionally, the contact between the gripping endpiece and the distal end comprises a plurality of distinct and different point contact points, for example by using balls interposed between the two parts.
The gripping tip comprises a substantially cylindrical cap and the distal end comprises a circular guide rib extending longitudinally along the axis XX' inside and in contact with said cap so as to define a cylindrical contact surface between the gripping tip and the accessory. Thus according to this embodiment, the rotational guidance of the gripping endpiece vis-à-vis the accessory is achieved by means of a sliding pivot connection consisting of two cylinders nested one inside the other. This construction makes it possible to absorb significant radial forces, even if these latter are applied cantilevered, that is to say outside the zone carrying out the rotational guidance, for example at the level of the end. free from the gripping tip.
According to this embodiment, the cylindrical contact surface between the gripping tip and the accessory, or more precisely between the gripping tip and the distal end, or even according to the previous preferred embodiment, between the cap and the guide rib has a length of between 2 mm and 15 mm, advantageously between 4 mm and 10 mm and is preferably equal to 6 mm. These dimensions have been judiciously studied to guarantee good guidance in rotation while limiting the size of the device. Furthermore, such a cylindrical contact surface makes it possible to ensure good heat exchange between the distal end and the gripping tip.
Advantageously, the accessory is a hollow accessory forming an air circulation chamber, said proximal end comprises an air inlet and said distal end comprises a plug. The air inlet then allows air to penetrate inside the accessory while the plug prevents the air from exiting axially from the accessory and forces the latter to exit through radial openings. Preferably, the cap is then mounted fixed relative to the accessory, by any suitable means, such as for example by clipping, screwing, gluing, welding, etc. Consequently, the gripping endpiece is therefore rotatable relative to the stopper. However, one could imagine without departing from the scope of the invention, that the stopper is mounted so as to be rotatable relative to the accessory, so that in this case, the gripping tip can be mounted fixed vis-à-vis of the cap.
According to an advantageous embodiment, the distal end comprises a rotational drive device designed to transfer a rotational movement from a hairdressing appliance on which the accessory is installed to the accessory. In other words, the distal end is designed to receive a rotational torque from a hairdressing device and to transfer this rotational torque to the accessory, in order to impart a rotational movement to the latter. Advantageously, the stopper has a shape of revolution around the axis and the rotation drive device extends longitudinally along the axis through the stopper. It is then the cap which comprises the rotary drive device and will transmit the rotational torque to the accessory.
Preferably, the rotary drive device extends over the entire length of the stopper, that is to say that it crosses it right through.
Preferably, the rotation drive device comprises splines. One could of course imagine in an alternative or complementary manner other means of driving in rotation such as for example a key, a pin, or even a particular form of bore such as for example a bore of square, rectangular, cruciform section, etc. .
Preferably, said accessory comprises an axial holding device designed to prevent any relative translation between the gripping tip and the distal end. In other words, the grip end piece cannot move longitudinally relative to the accessory, which in particular makes it possible to avoid any unexpected disassembly of the grip end piece from the accessory. In addition, this also makes it possible to be able to handle the accessory only via the gripping endpiece, including during assembly and disassembly operations of a hairdressing appliance, which is very useful when the accessory is still hot.
Preferably, the axial holding device forms a second guidance in rotation of the gripping endpiece relative to the accessory, for example by proposing a guidance of the pivot connection type, which makes it possible to improve the guidance in rotation of the gripping tip relative to the accessory. Indeed, thus, the gripping endpiece is guided in rotation in two different and distinct places along the longitudinal axis, which allows the gripping endpiece to withstand significant radial forces while remaining perfectly mobile and guided in rotation with respect to the accessory. Advantageously, the axial holding device comprises a circular ring secured to the gripping endpiece and placed in a circular guide groove within the stopper.
According to a preferred embodiment, the gripping endpiece comprises a mobile hooking device between an open position designed to allow assembly or disassembly of the accessory on a hairdressing appliance and a closed position designed to hold the accessory with the hairdressing device. In other words, in addition to the function of a free gripping element in rotation, the gripping endpiece as defined by the invention can preferably also perform a function of assembling the accessory on a hairdressing device. This grouping together of the rotational guidance and assembly functions within the gripping endpiece is quite clever since it makes it possible to be able to assemble or disassemble the accessory of a hairdressing appliance, including when this accessory is still hot and therefore cannot be handled directly by hand.
According to this embodiment, the closed position is advantageously a rest position. In other words, the attachment device naturally returns to the closed position, which makes it possible to permanently guarantee the correct assembly of the accessory on the hairdressing appliance.
Still according to this same embodiment, the gripping end piece can comprise a locking button allowing the attachment device to move between its open and closed positions. For example, the locking button can be a push button or a lever making it possible to act directly and mechanically on the attachment device, and this in a very intuitive way for the user.
In this embodiment, the hooking device advantageously forms a guide in rotation between the gripping endpiece and a hairdressing device, which makes it possible to further improve the quality of the guiding in rotation of the gripping endpiece, in particular by increasing its resistance to radial forces.
Preferably, the gripping endpiece comprises a gripping relief, which makes it possible to prevent the gripping endpiece from slipping from the fingers of the user.
Advantageously, the accessory forms a tube intended to receive preferentially hot air inside it, said tube comprising a radial air outlet for ejecting the air. Preferably, the accessory also comprises bristles or spikes distributed over its entire outer surface. The accessory thus forms, for example, a rotary brush.
The invention also relates to a hairdressing appliance, such as for example a rotary blower brush, comprising an accessory as defined previously, said accessory being assembled with a main body of the hairdressing device.

The embodiment of the invention illustrated by the various figures is an embodiment in which an
Of course, the invention is in no way limited to this embodiment and may relate to any other hairdressing appliance, such as hair dryers, the construction of which, the problems and the issues described below are relatively relatives.
In the following description, the terms “upstream”, “downstream”, “proximal”, “distal”, are defined with respect to the direction of air flow. Thus, for example, the expression "upstream" means "before" or "at the beginning", while the expression "downstream" means "after" or "at the end", by analogy with the hydraulic theme from which these phrases. The term “proximal” implies “close to the air inlet” while the term “distal” implies “at a distance from the air inlet”.

According to the embodiment illustrated in the various figures, the

The motor-

The

The

In order to improve ergonomics and to limit the risk of knots or twisting of the electrical cord supplying the hairdressing appliance of the invention, the

The gripping tip is therefore designed to be gripped by the user of the accessory while being free to rotate relative to the

The
Quite remarkably, and in particular thanks to the
