Definitions
- One aspect of the invention relates to a door for a cooking appliance.
- the door has a front pane and another pane arranged at a distance therefrom.
- the door also has a recessed grip which is formed in the upper region of the door and can be gripped from above.
- Another aspect of the invention relates to a cooking appliance with such a door.
- the inner pane is designed as a one-piece, trough-like part in which two intermediate panes are accommodated.
- a front pane of this pane package is attached to a trough flange of this trough-shaped inner pane at the front.
- This front pane is larger in height than the inner pane and the intermediate panes.
- the front pane therefore protrudes upwards compared to the other panes in height. This creates a handle element behind the front pane in the pane point itself.
- the door there does not have any other components other than the pane package.
- the panes are therefore only held in place by the trough-shaped inner pane itself.
- the DE 10 2009 026 959 A1 a door for a cooking appliance is known. It has a door body with a glass plate as a front panel. In the upper area of this door body there is a separate handle shell that is open at the top and can be reached into from above.
- the DE 79 02 302 U1 describes an oven door that has at least two parallel panes of glass-like material, a metal frame that surrounds them and secures them with the aid of by spacers, and includes a horizontal elongated element arranged in the upper part of the door and fixed to the frame and including a central part forming a handle for opening and closing the door.
- the EP 2 108 892 A1 shows a built-in oven with a door and a ventilation system.
- the door comprises two vertical frame members and an upper hollow frame member attached to the vertical members and to the upper edges of two or more glass panels.
- the upper hollow frame member has a front opening designed to be used as a handle of the door flush with its front surface.
- the upper hollow frame member is used as part of the ventilation system of the oven.
- the JP 2012 042119 A describes a cooking appliance comprising a body having a heating chamber which can be opened at its front, a door which is openably and closably attached to the front of the body by an opening and closing mechanism provided at a lower part of the housing, and a door opening and closing handle.
- the door can also have a light element. Separate from the door and thus outside the door, on a housing of the cooking appliance, on which the door can then be pivoted is arranged, a frame is arranged. When the door is closed, the door is surrounded by this frame, which is fixed on the housing side.
- the object of the present invention is to create a door for a cooking appliance which can be constructed in a more variable manner with regard to the fitting of individual components and in this respect a higher functionality of the door is then achieved. Accordingly, it is also the object to create a cooking appliance with such a door.
- the handle in its specific design as a recessed grip is thus relocated to the frame part that is separate from the panes.
- the specific position of this frame part namely in a connecting direction between the front pane and the further pane between these two panes, then also enables the additional function that the functional frame can be used as a spacer element for the two panes.
- the recessed grip is also specifically designed, namely by a limiting bar that is pulled upwards at the front, which is particularly integrated into the frame part and thus formed in one piece with it, a compact and in this respect component-reduced design can be achieved in this context.
- the front pane is then provided without any functional contribution to the geometric design of the recessed grip. This can prevent unwanted smearing or extensive occurrence of fingerprints or the like on this front pane. This can also prevent unwanted This prevents bumping or other wear on the front panel, particularly at the top edge, as it no longer forms the direct and uncovered boundary of the grip recess, as is the case in the prior art. This also prevents any possible chipping of the edges of this front panel.
- the separate functional frame with this upper frame part also represents a more robust and therefore more stable component.
- the limiting bar is designed to protrude upwards from the upper frame part in an area facing the front pane and to project freely upwards.
- This also provides the recessed grip with the appropriate depth and enables simple and user-friendly gripping behind the frame part.
- the functionality of the recessed grip is very advantageous in this context.
- such a design allows the limiting bar to be designed to be very delicate and yet mechanically stable, so that on the one hand weight can be saved and on the other hand the recessed grip is not undesirably restricted in the depth direction of the door.
- this design also ensures that this obliquely oriented projection forms a type of roof slope or an overhang that protrudes forwards at the front in comparison to the front pane, so that additional protection of the front pane, particularly in the upper edge area, is made possible by such an orientation of the limiting bar.
- the recessed grip is directly delimited on the rear side and thus viewed in the depth direction on the side facing the further pane by a front side of the further pane.
- This also allows the further pane to be used multifunctionally, as it also represents a delimiting wall of the recessed grip.
- such a design can also be provided.
- a separate, in particular strip-like, cover is arranged on an upper edge of the front window, by means of which the limiting bar is covered at least in part on the front.
- the separate cover is in particular also a component separate from the limiting bar.
- a front-side covering of the limiting bar can be achieved, so that an individual optical overall impression on the front can be created here, which is then characterized by the cover.
- individual optical variants can then be created in this context and yet a uniform, identical component can be used with regard to the functional frame.
- this separate cover also forms a very individual edge protection for the upper edge or the upper edge of the front window.
- the preferably existing panel also enables improved force absorption, so that when the door is pulled forward and force is exerted on the limiting bar and the panel, greater mechanical stability is achieved. This prevents the limiting bar from deforming or giving way.
- the panel rests directly on the limiting web.
- an additional adhesive connection can also be formed between the limiting web and the panel. Undesirable changes in position or relative movements to one another can thus be avoided even more effectively.
- an upper edge of the additional pane is arranged higher in the height direction of the door than an upper edge of the front pane.
- this upper edge of the additional pane is arranged higher than an upper edge of the limiting web.
- the front pane is designed as a relatively large plate, which on the one hand advantageously provides the rear limit of the recessed grip extensively and sufficiently. It is precisely through such a design of a large additional pane that the possibility is created for this additional pane to be a front pane of a pane package of the door.
- this pane package then does not have this front pane, but instead has additional separate additional panes in addition to the additional pane, in particular at least one additional additional pane, which adjoins the rear in the depth direction and is thus arranged on the side opposite the front pane to the additional pane.
- a conventional pane package of a door can also be formed with the additional pane, which then serves as the front pane of the pane package, and the additional panes mentioned, at least one additional intermediate pane and one inner pane.
- this also fulfils the conventional functions of reducing the thermal energy loss from the cooking chamber of a cooking appliance on the one hand, and preventing the front window from heating up undesirably on the other.
- the window package also includes appropriate ventilation, as is the case with conventional window packages in conventional doors.
- the front pane and the functional frame are then essentially an additional front-side add-on module on the front pane of the pane package.
- this structure which adjoins the front pane to the front, can be seen as an additional module that enables and provides the additional functions mentioned above.
- the recessed grip is not behind the front pane of such a pane package, but in front of it. The front of the front pane limits the recessed grip at the back. The recessed grip is therefore moved forwards from the pane package.
- the front pane functionally contributes at least in a supporting manner to the functions of such a pane package and can thus then also be part of a pane package that is then novel and supplemented in this respect.
- a frame is arranged in a space between the front pane and the other pane, which is separate from the panes and the separate functional frame and has a funnel-like slot when viewed in the depth direction of the door.
- the functional frame on the one hand
- this additional frame on the other. Both are then arranged in particular in this space between the front pane and the other pane.
- the arrangement of the functional frame in the intermediate space is to be understood as meaning that the functional frame extends at least partially into the volume space, which is actually only limited between the two panes, namely the front pane and the other pane.
- the functional frame is thus arranged at least partially overlapping both the front pane and the other pane.
- this further frame is arranged entirely within this space.
- the funnel-shaped backdrop of the separate frame is a subcomponent that enables individual optical appearances precisely through this geometric design.
- an optical depth effect of a light pattern is created due to the funnel shape that then converges towards the back in the depth direction, which also enables a certain specific three-dimensionality of the lighting of the door.
- this funnel-shaped backdrop delimits a very specific receiving space or volume space, whereby this volume space is then formed in the shape of a truncated pyramid.
- This funnel-shaped backdrop creates a kind of optical aperture that makes the actual passage window appear to be set further back, so that a corresponding view through the door is possible, but the funnel-shaped backdrop creates a very specific optical viewing effect.
- the door has at least one light element with which light can be emitted onto the additional separate frame, so that the sloping walls of the funnel-shaped backdrop facing the front window are illuminated or can be illuminated with the light.
- This is a particularly advantageous embodiment, as it enables very individual lighting scenarios for the interior of the door. It is particularly advantageous in the operative connection between the funnel-shaped backdrop and the light generated in that a very specific frame-like light effect or light pattern is created, which enables a very spatial design of the light image thanks to the funnel-shaped backdrop.
- a light frame can be generated as a light pattern.
- the light element is a light guide.
- the very defined illumination of the sloping walls forming or delimiting the funnel-shaped backdrop is This makes it possible to produce the specific light pattern or light image mentioned above in a particularly advantageous and homogeneous manner.
- the light guide is designed like a rod. This makes it possible to radiate a very extensive and uniform and thus homogeneous light into a larger area of the backdrop, in particular onto an entire sloping wall of such a backdrop.
- the light element is arranged in a groove-like receptacle of the frame. This enables the light element to be positioned in a mechanically stable manner. In particular, this also enables the light element to be in the immediate vicinity and thus directly adjacent to a sloping wall of the funnel-shaped backdrop. This enables the light to be emitted directly and over a short distance from the light guide onto a sloping wall of the funnel-shaped backdrop. This enables the light pattern to be generated evenly and the emitted light to be lost as little as possible.
- the channel-like receptacle is open towards the front pane and the channel bottom is thus facing the other pane. Due to this design, the light guide is also exposed on the side facing the front pane.
- the receptacle is open towards the front window and surrounds the funnel-shaped backdrop at least in some areas.
- a substantially frame-like enclosure of the funnel-shaped backdrop by this receptacle enables the arrangement of one or more light guides on various sides of this funnel-shaped backdrop.
- the funnel shape is a square funnel shape that is shaped like a truncated pyramid.
- the roof of this truncated pyramid shape is designed as a hole or opening.
- this funnel-shaped backdrop is thus designed in such a way that the Sloping walls represent the outer walls of such a truncated pyramid.
- the truncated pyramid base and the truncated pyramid roof are not present in this context, so that the backdrop basically only forms the outer walls of such a truncated pyramid.
- the additional separate frame is formed in one piece. It can be formed in particular from sheet metal and it can be provided in particular that the individual parts are produced by embossing and/or forming, such as bending or the like. In particular, this also applies to the holder for the light element.
- the light element advantageously has a bead-like light emission area, viewed in cross-section perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the light element, which is arranged facing the funnel-shaped backdrop and/or has a notch as a prism structure on the side facing the front pane.
- This allows a particularly advantageous direct emission of the light in a defined manner onto a sloping wall. In particular, this also allows for individual further emission directly in the direction of the front pane.
- a separate carrier element for a light source is arranged in a corner area of the frame, with which light from the light source can be coupled into the light element, in particular one directly adjacent to it.
- a light source can be, for example, a light-emitting diode or a light-emitting diode arrangement.
- a heat sink for this light source is also arranged in this corner area. This allows a compact structure and a needs-based positioning of the light source in the door.
- a light guide can then be formed in one piece and homogeneously as a rod that extends over the entire length of an inclined wall of the funnel-shaped backdrop.
- this enables the light from the light source to be coupled into this light guide in a simple and comprehensive manner, and on the other hand, a particularly homogeneous and uniform radiation of the light from the light guide can be achieved over the entire length of the inclined wall.
- the additional pane is a front pane of a pane package of the door, with the front pane and the functional frame being attached to a front side of the front pane as a front-side module attachment.
- a further independent aspect of the invention relates to a door for a cooking appliance.
- the door has a front pane and a further pane arranged at a distance therefrom.
- a frame separate from the panes is arranged in a space between the front pane and the further pane. In a cross-sectional view of the door, this means that the frame extends into the space at least in some areas and is arranged completely therein. In this cross-sectional view, the frame is thus arranged overlapping the panes when viewed in a direction parallel to the two planes.
- the frame has a funnel-shaped backdrop, the door having at least one light element with which light can be emitted onto the frame, so that the sloping walls of the funnel-shaped backdrop facing the front pane are illuminated with the light or can be illuminated directly.
- the sloping walls are designed in such a way that the funnel shape of the backdrop delimits a truncated pyramid shape. In this context, the sloping walls form the outer wall of this truncated pyramid shape.
- Embodiments of the above-mentioned first independent aspect of a door are to be regarded as advantageous embodiments of the above-mentioned further independent aspect concerning the door.
- a further aspect of the invention relates to a cooking appliance with a door according to an above-mentioned aspect.
- the cooking appliance has in particular a housing in which a cooking chamber is formed. This is delimited in particular by walls of a muffle.
- the door is preferably arranged movably on the housing and is arranged on the housing for closing the cooking chamber at the front.
- the cooking appliance can be, for example, an oven or a steam cooker or a microwave cooker.
- the The door can also be a microwave door and be constructed accordingly. Even with such a design, a front module attachment, as already explained in examples above, can be attached to the front of the windscreen.
- top, bottom, front, bottom, horizontal, vertical, depth direction, “width direction”, “height direction” indicate the positions and orientations when the device is used and arranged as intended.
- a cooking appliance 1 is shown in a schematic representation.
- the cooking appliance 1 has a housing 2 in which a muffle 3 is arranged.
- the muffle 3 defines a cooking chamber 4 with its walls.
- the cooking appliance 1 also has a door 5 which is movably arranged on the housing 2 and is designed to close the cooking chamber 4 from the front.
- Door 5 is in Fig. 2 shown in an exploded view in one embodiment.
- the door 5 has a front pane 6 viewed in the depth direction (z-direction).
- the front pane 6 is a plate which can be made of glass at least in part.
- the door 5 has a functional frame 7 separate from the front pane 6.
- the functional frame 7 is designed to be completely circumferential.
- the embodiment in Fig. 2 a separate frame 8 to the functional frame 7.
- This frame 8 is also preferably designed to be closed all the way around.
- a further pane 9 is formed in the depth direction towards the rear. This is designed in particular at a distance and parallel to the front pane 6.
- the further pane 9 in the embodiment in particular represents a front pane of a pane package 10.
- the pane pack 10 has at least one further pane which, viewed in the depth direction, is arranged at a distance from the further pane 9.
- the pane pack 10 can also have more than two, for example three or four, panes. These additional panes of the pane pack 10 are arranged on the side of the further pane 9 opposite the front pane 6.
- Fig. 2 As can be seen, on a rear side 11 of this further pane 9 facing away from the front pane 6 there are door profiles 12, of which Fig. 2 only one of the two door profiles 12 can be seen.
- the door profiles 12 are preferably beam-like or rod-like elements that extend in the vertical direction (y-direction).
- the additional panes of the pane package 10 are held on these door profiles 12.
- the door 5 is also designed for a movable connection to the housing 2 by corresponding coupling elements 13, which are arranged in particular on the door profiles 12.
- an upper, strip-shaped cover 14 is provided, which covers the pane package 10 from above. This cover is also arranged on the side of the further pane 9 facing away from the front pane 6. This upper cover in the form of this cover 14 also has openings or slots, so that ventilation of the pane package 10 is possible.
- the front pane 6, the functional frame 7 and the separate frame 8 form a module attachment which is arranged on a front side 15 of the further pane 9.
- This further pane 9 represents in particular a front pane of the pane package 10.
- the module attachment is thus arranged on the front side around the pane package 10.
- the front pane 6 has a viewing window 16 through which one can look. At least this area is thus transparent.
- a border 17 is formed on this front pane 6, for example by a coating, which on the one hand delimits this viewing window 16 and on the other hand is preferably opaque.
- Fig. 3 is a vertical sectional view (section plane is the yz plane) of subcomponents of the door 5 in Fig. 2
- the module attachment 18 is mounted directly on the front side 15 of this further pane 19.
- this additional pane 9 of the pane package 10 is shown.
- holding elements, in particular in the form of adhesive angles 19, are shown on the rear side 11 of this additional pane 9, which are arranged on this rear side 11 and are intended for fastening the door profiles 12.
- the additional pane 9 has larger dimensions than the front pane 6. Particularly when viewed in the vertical direction, the additional pane 9 extends upwards and downwards compared to the front pane 6.
- the functional frame 7 is applied, for example glued, directly to the front side 15 of the further pane 9.
- the functional frame 7 extends at least partially into a gap 20 formed between the front pane 6 and the further pane 9.
- the functional frame 7, viewed in this height direction is arranged at least partially overlapping both the front pane 6 and the further pane 9.
- the functional frame 7 has an upper frame part 21, in which a recessed grip 22 is integrated.
- the upper frame part 21 has an upwardly projecting limiting web 23 for this purpose. This limiting web 23 projects freely upwards from a front end of this frame part 21 facing the front pane 6.
- this limiting web 23 as shown in Fig. 3 is shown, with an oblique orientation.
- the oblique orientation is designed here such that it is oriented away from the further pane 9, starting from the upper frame part 21 or a base body of this upper frame part 21.
- a recessed grip entrance 24 of the recessed grip 22 is widened upwards, so that an improved grip is possible.
- the limiting web 23 projects upwards relative to an upper edge 25 of the front pane 6. In this vertical section view, the limiting web 23 also overlaps this upper edge 25 in the depth direction (z direction).
- the functional frame 7 is arranged at a distance from the front window 6.
- the door 5 has a separate panel 26 from the functional frame 7 and also from the further frame 8.
- This panel 26 is placed on the upper edge 25 of the front pane 6, in particular placed directly on it. It completely covers the upper edge 25 from above.
- This panel 26 also has a partial area 27 that projects upwards and is arranged with an oblique orientation corresponding to the oblique orientation of the limiting web 23. This partial area 27 projects forwards in the depth direction relative to the front pane 6, in particular the upper edge 25. This forms a corresponding collar.
- the cover 26 also extends partially behind the front pane 6 and rests on a rear side 28 of the front pane 6. In addition, it is particularly intended that this cover 26 and the functional frame 7 rest directly against one another.
- the grip recess 22 is delimited at the rear by the further pane 9.
- the front side 15 thus forms a direct boundary wall of the grip recess 22.
- the grip recess 22 is thus arranged in front of the further pane 9 and in particular also outside and in front of the pane package 10 when viewed in the depth direction.
- Fig. 3 the position and arrangement of the additional frame 8 is also shown.
- This additional frame 8 is smaller than the functional frame 7 and is surrounded by it all the way around. In particular, it is directly connected to the functional frame 7. In this respect, a precise fit is provided in particular on a platform or a stepped contact area 29.
- this further frame 8 has a funnel-shaped backdrop 30, viewed in the depth direction.
- this funnel-shaped backdrop 30 has four adjacent walls 31, 32, 33, 34 ( Fig. 2 ).
- the four adjoining inclined walls 31 to 34 are oriented and arranged in such a way that they form the Limit the volume of a truncated pyramid at the shell wall.
- the inclined walls 31 to 34 thus form the shell wall of such a truncated pyramid.
- this funnel shape is oriented in such a way that the inclined walls 31 to 34 widen from the further pane 9 forwards towards the front pane 6.
- the further frame 8 rests on both the front side 15 of the further pane 9 and the rear side 28 of the front pane 6.
- the further frame 8 can thus also be regarded as a spacer element in the gap 20 between the front pane 6 and the further pane 9.
- the functional frame 7 also represents a spacer element between the front pane 6 and the further pane 9, in particular in operative connection with the cover 26 in the upper area.
- the functional frame 7 is directly connected to the front pane 6 and the further pane 9 and thus represents a corresponding spacer element in the lower area with a lower frame part 35.
- Fig. 4 is an enlarged view of a partial section of the view in Fig. 4 shown.
- the door profile 12 is also shown schematically here and an additional pane 36 of the pane package 10, in particular a further additional pane 37, is shown schematically.
- the additional pane 36 can in this context be an intermediate pane of the pane package 10 and the pane 37 can be an inner pane of the pane package 10.
- the panes 9, 36 and 37 form a conventional pane package, as can be installed in known doors.
- an upper edge 38 of the further pane 9 is arranged higher in height than the upper edge 25 of the front pane 6.
- Fig. 5 a partial area of an embodiment of the door 5 according to the invention is shown in a perspective sectional view.
- the functional frame 7 and the further frame 8 connected to it are shown.
- a receptacle 40 for a light element 41 formed at the connection to the funnel-shaped gate 30, viewed in the plane of the door.
- the channel-like receptacle 40 is formed in one piece with the funnel-shaped backdrop 30.
- the light element 41 is a rod-like light guide here. It is partially inserted into this receptacle 40.
- the receptacle 40 is designed to be open towards a front pane 6 (not shown here).
- a base 42 of this channel-like receptacle 40 has a recess 43 into which a coupling element 44 integrated into the light guide penetrates for holding.
- the light guide has a bead-like light emission region 39, via which light can be emitted in a defined manner via an emission surface 45 to the funnel-shaped backdrop 30, in particular onto the at least adjacent inclined wall 33.
- a surface 46 of the light guide facing the front pane 6 is polished or otherwise processed. It can also be provided here that light leakage is at least partially prevented.
- an optically active surface 47 is formed on this surface 46, which here is preferably a prism structure.
- a separate receptacle or carrier element 48 is shown, which is arranged in a corner region 49 of the frame 8, in particular also of the functional frame 7.
- This carrier element 48 is designed to accommodate at least one light source 50, as shown in Fig. 6 is shown.
- at least one heat sink 51 for cooling the light source 50 can be accommodated and arranged therein.
- Fig. 6 It can also be seen that two separate, rod-like light elements 41 in the form of light guides are provided, which are arranged in different receptacles 40 and open out at different ends of the carrier element 48.
- the light from the light sources 50 is preferably coupled into the light guides via these carrier elements 48.
- the specific radiation areas 45 of the light elements 41 designed as light guides light is radiated in a targeted manner into the funnel-shaped backdrop 30, in particular onto the inclined walls 33, 34.
- four light elements 41 are provided, each of which is arranged adjacent to an inclined wall 31, 32, 33 and 34. This makes it possible to form a light guide that is almost closed all the way around and to radiate light particularly evenly onto the inclined walls 31 to 34.
- Fig. 7 a partial section of the door 5 is shown in a sectional view, in addition to the representations in Fig. 5 and Fig. 6 the front turning disc 6 is shown.
- FIG. 8 A further embodiment of a door 5 is shown in a schematic representation, whereby only partial components are shown here.
- a light source 5 is provided.
- the inner pane 52 of the door 5 is provided with a pattern 53. This can be a print, for example.
- the pattern 53 can be in white and shades of gray.
- the light source 50 introduces or couples light 54, in particular, into a side edge 55 of the pane 52. The light is coupled out at the points where it hits this pattern 53 or where the pattern 53 is permeable to this light.
- This pane 52 therefore lights up with a very specific light pattern.
- this pane 52 can be, for example, the front pane 6. It can also be the additional pane 9.
- an individual lighting scenario can be created by the lighting device with a light element 41 and a light source 50.
- This can, for example, visually display specific operating states of the cooking appliance 1.
- different light patterns and/or different light colors can be assigned to different operating states.
- a white light can indicate a switched-on state.
- a specific running operating program can be indicated by a blue light color, for example.
- This operating program can be a preparation program. Pyrolysis operation of the cooking appliance can be visually displayed in another different light color, for example orange.
- the lighting device is still operated when the cooking appliance is switched off, thus supplying the inactive appliance with a specific ambient light in this door 5.
- the additional frame 8 and in particular the funnel-shaped backdrop 30 also form a type of cover for components located behind it, in particular the pane package 10. Since a recess 56 ( Fig. 2 to Fig. 6 ) is preferably smaller than a viewing window of the further pane 9, a certain concealment of structural components can be achieved here.

When the door is closed, the door is surrounded by this frame, which is fixed on the housing side.
The object of the present invention is to create a door for a cooking appliance which can be constructed in a more variable manner with regard to the fitting of individual components and in this respect a higher functionality of the door is then achieved. Accordingly, it is also the object to create a cooking appliance with such a door.
One aspect of the invention relates to a door for a cooking appliance. The door has a front pane. In addition, the door has another pane that is separate from the front and arranged at a distance therefrom. In addition, the door has a recessed grip that is formed in the upper region of the door. The recessed grip can be gripped from above. Viewed in the depth direction of the door, a separate functional frame of the door is arranged in a space between the front pane and the other pane. The functional frame has an upwardly projecting limiting web on an upper frame part, so that the recessed grip is formed in the upper frame part. The recessed grip is limited at the front by the limiting web. Such a design provides a door with an increased number of separate components. These components enable a variable and flexible construction of the door. In particular, the functional assignment of functions of the door to individual components is thus made possible individually and in an improved manner. The handle in its specific design as a recessed grip is thus relocated to the frame part that is separate from the panes. The specific position of this frame part, namely in a connecting direction between the front pane and the further pane between these two panes, then also enables the additional function that the functional frame can be used as a spacer element for the two panes. As the recessed grip is also specifically designed, namely by a limiting bar that is pulled upwards at the front, which is particularly integrated into the frame part and thus formed in one piece with it, a compact and in this respect component-reduced design can be achieved in this context. The front pane is then provided without any functional contribution to the geometric design of the recessed grip.
In this context, the separate functional frame with this upper frame part also represents a more robust and therefore more stable component.
Preferably, the limiting bar is designed to protrude upwards from the upper frame part in an area facing the front pane and to project freely upwards. This also provides the recessed grip with the appropriate depth and enables simple and user-friendly gripping behind the frame part. The functionality of the recessed grip is very advantageous in this context. In addition, such a design allows the limiting bar to be designed to be very delicate and yet mechanically stable, so that on the one hand weight can be saved and on the other hand the recessed grip is not undesirably restricted in the depth direction of the door.
Preferably, the limiting bar is designed with an upwardly inclined orientation facing away from the other pane, so that the grip recess is widened to form a grip recess entrance. This provides a grip recess that is particularly easy to grip in the upper area and has a larger width here in this respect. An undesirable, complicated and very narrow grip with the fingers of one hand is thus avoided. This also makes it possible to avoid undesirable bumping of fingers into a very narrow grip recess, since the grip recess is also enlarged accordingly by this widening. In particular, this design also ensures that this obliquely oriented projection forms a type of roof slope or an overhang that protrudes forwards at the front in comparison to the front pane, so that additional protection of the front pane, particularly in the upper edge area, is made possible by such an orientation of the limiting bar.
Preferably, the recessed grip is directly delimited on the rear side and thus viewed in the depth direction on the side facing the further pane by a front side of the further pane. This also allows the further pane to be used multifunctionally, as it also represents a delimiting wall of the recessed grip. This means that the complexity of the shape of the frame part can be reduced, as an additional delimiting wall for the recessed grip, which would then be formed by the upper frame part itself, is not required in the rear area. However, such a design can also be provided.
Advantageously, it is provided that a separate, in particular strip-like, cover is arranged on an upper edge of the front window, by means of which the limiting bar is covered at least in part on the front. The separate cover is in particular also a component separate from the limiting bar. With such a design, a front-side covering of the limiting bar can be achieved, so that an individual optical overall impression on the front can be created here, which is then characterized by the cover. In particular, individual optical variants can then be created in this context and yet a uniform, identical component can be used with regard to the functional frame. In addition, this separate cover also forms a very individual edge protection for the upper edge or the upper edge of the front window. In this context, it can be provided that only this separate cover covers the upper edge of the front window and the functional frame, in particular the limiting bar, is arranged at a distance from the front window, in particular the upper edge of the front window. Especially if the functional frame is made of metal, for example, undesirable damage to the front window, such as scratching or the like, can be avoided. In addition, such a design with a separate panel can also achieve a certain point for this limiting bar, which can then be made particularly delicate. In particular, a front-side limiting wall of the recessed grip is then formed by the limiting bar and the panel, which is also oriented upwards. This also makes a very important subcomponent of the recessed grip, namely this front-side recessed grip part, more stable and robust. Gripping around or behind and, in this context, usually also gripping this limiting bar with the The preferably existing panel also enables improved force absorption, so that when the door is pulled forward and force is exerted on the limiting bar and the panel, greater mechanical stability is achieved. This prevents the limiting bar from deforming or giving way.
It is advantageous that the panel rests directly on the limiting web. The above-mentioned advantages are thereby achieved to a particular degree. In particular, an additional adhesive connection can also be formed between the limiting web and the panel. Undesirable changes in position or relative movements to one another can thus be avoided even more effectively.
Preferably, an upper edge of the additional pane is arranged higher in the height direction of the door than an upper edge of the front pane. In particular, this upper edge of the additional pane is arranged higher than an upper edge of the limiting web. As a result, the front pane is designed as a relatively large plate, which on the one hand advantageously provides the rear limit of the recessed grip extensively and sufficiently. It is precisely through such a design of a large additional pane that the possibility is created for this additional pane to be a front pane of a pane package of the door. In an advantageous embodiment, this pane package then does not have this front pane, but instead has additional separate additional panes in addition to the additional pane, in particular at least one additional additional pane, which adjoins the rear in the depth direction and is thus arranged on the side opposite the front pane to the additional pane. As a result, a conventional pane package of a door can also be formed with the additional pane, which then serves as the front pane of the pane package, and the additional panes mentioned, at least one additional intermediate pane and one inner pane. In this context, this also fulfils the conventional functions of reducing the thermal energy loss from the cooking chamber of a cooking appliance on the one hand, and preventing the front window from heating up undesirably on the other. For this purpose, the window package also includes appropriate ventilation, as is the case with conventional window packages in conventional doors. Especially in such a design with a pane package mentioned in this regard, the front pane and the functional frame are then essentially an additional front-side add-on module on the front pane of the pane package. Compared to conventional designs of a door with such a pane package, this structure, which adjoins the front pane to the front, can be seen as an additional module that enables and provides the additional functions mentioned above. In this design, the recessed grip is not behind the front pane of such a pane package, but in front of it. The front of the front pane limits the recessed grip at the back. The recessed grip is therefore moved forwards from the pane package.
It can also be provided that in a further embodiment the front pane functionally contributes at least in a supporting manner to the functions of such a pane package and can thus then also be part of a pane package that is then novel and supplemented in this respect.
Preferably, a frame is arranged in a space between the front pane and the other pane, which is separate from the panes and the separate functional frame and has a funnel-like slot when viewed in the depth direction of the door. With such a design, there are then two separate frames, namely the functional frame on the one hand and this additional frame on the other. Both are then arranged in particular in this space between the front pane and the other pane.
Generally speaking, the arrangement of the functional frame in the intermediate space is to be understood as meaning that the functional frame extends at least partially into the volume space, which is actually only limited between the two panes, namely the front pane and the other pane. When viewed in a vertical section through the door, the functional frame is thus arranged at least partially overlapping both the front pane and the other pane.
The same applies in particular to the further frame. In particular, this further frame is arranged entirely within this space.
The funnel-shaped backdrop of the separate frame is a subcomponent that enables individual optical appearances precisely through this geometric design. When viewed from the front, an optical depth effect of a light pattern is created due to the funnel shape that then converges towards the back in the depth direction, which also enables a certain specific three-dimensionality of the lighting of the door. In addition, this funnel-shaped backdrop delimits a very specific receiving space or volume space, whereby this volume space is then formed in the shape of a truncated pyramid. This funnel-shaped backdrop creates a kind of optical aperture that makes the actual passage window appear to be set further back, so that a corresponding view through the door is possible, but the funnel-shaped backdrop creates a very specific optical viewing effect.
It is advantageously provided that the door has at least one light element with which light can be emitted onto the additional separate frame, so that the sloping walls of the funnel-shaped backdrop facing the front window are illuminated or can be illuminated with the light. This is a particularly advantageous embodiment, as it enables very individual lighting scenarios for the interior of the door. It is particularly advantageous in the operative connection between the funnel-shaped backdrop and the light generated in that a very specific frame-like light effect or light pattern is created, which enables a very spatial design of the light image thanks to the funnel-shaped backdrop. Since this light image can then be seen and viewed through the front window when the door is viewed from the front, since the front window is transparent at least in this section in which the funnel-shaped backdrop is arranged, the above-mentioned advantages can be made possible. In particular, a light frame can be generated as a light pattern.
Preferably, the light element is a light guide. This allows the light from a light source to be directed very precisely into specific areas and emitted individually. In particular, the very defined illumination of the sloping walls forming or delimiting the funnel-shaped backdrop is This makes it possible to produce the specific light pattern or light image mentioned above in a particularly advantageous and homogeneous manner.
In particular, the light guide is designed like a rod. This makes it possible to radiate a very extensive and uniform and thus homogeneous light into a larger area of the backdrop, in particular onto an entire sloping wall of such a backdrop.
In particular, it is provided that the light element is arranged in a groove-like receptacle of the frame.
In particular, the channel-like receptacle is open towards the front pane and the channel bottom is thus facing the other pane. Due to this design, the light guide is also exposed on the side facing the front pane.
This makes it possible, depending on requirements, to allow individual radiation directly onto the front window. This can be done individually, particularly depending on the design of the light guide.
Preferably, the receptacle is open towards the front window and surrounds the funnel-shaped backdrop at least in some areas. Such a substantially frame-like enclosure of the funnel-shaped backdrop by this receptacle enables the arrangement of one or more light guides on various sides of this funnel-shaped backdrop. In particular, the funnel shape is a square funnel shape that is shaped like a truncated pyramid. In this context, the roof of this truncated pyramid shape is designed as a hole or opening. In particular, this funnel-shaped backdrop is thus designed in such a way that the Sloping walls represent the outer walls of such a truncated pyramid. The truncated pyramid base and the truncated pyramid roof are not present in this context, so that the backdrop basically only forms the outer walls of such a truncated pyramid.
It can be formed in particular from sheet metal and it can be provided in particular that the individual parts are produced by embossing and/or forming, such as bending or the like. In particular, this also applies to the holder for the light element.
The light element advantageously has a bead-like light emission area, viewed in cross-section perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the light element, which is arranged facing the funnel-shaped backdrop and/or has a notch as a prism structure on the side facing the front pane. This allows a particularly advantageous direct emission of the light in a defined manner onto a sloping wall. In particular, this also allows for individual further emission directly in the direction of the front pane.
Preferably, a separate carrier element for a light source is arranged in a corner area of the frame, with which light from the light source can be coupled into the light element, in particular one directly adjacent to it. A light source can be, for example, a light-emitting diode or a light-emitting diode arrangement. In particular, a heat sink for this light source is also arranged in this corner area. This allows a compact structure and a needs-based positioning of the light source in the door. In particular, in this context, a light guide can then be formed in one piece and homogeneously as a rod that extends over the entire length of an inclined wall of the funnel-shaped backdrop. On the one hand, this enables the light from the light source to be coupled into this light guide in a simple and comprehensive manner, and on the other hand, a particularly homogeneous and uniform radiation of the light from the light guide can be achieved over the entire length of the inclined wall.
Preferably, the additional pane is a front pane of a pane package of the door, with the front pane and the functional frame being attached to a front side of the front pane as a front-side module attachment. The advantages that can be achieved in this regard have already been explained above.
A further independent aspect of the invention relates to a door for a cooking appliance. The door has a front pane and a further pane arranged at a distance therefrom. A frame separate from the panes is arranged in a space between the front pane and the further pane. In a cross-sectional view of the door, this means that the frame extends into the space at least in some areas and is arranged completely therein. In this cross-sectional view, the frame is thus arranged overlapping the panes when viewed in a direction parallel to the two planes. The frame has a funnel-shaped backdrop, the door having at least one light element with which light can be emitted onto the frame, so that the sloping walls of the funnel-shaped backdrop facing the front pane are illuminated with the light or can be illuminated directly. The sloping walls are designed in such a way that the funnel shape of the backdrop delimits a truncated pyramid shape. In this context, the sloping walls form the outer wall of this truncated pyramid shape.
