Definitions

  • the invention relates to a method for operating a Steuerungssys system for controlling a lighting system according to the preamble of claim 1.
  • Known control systems which may be formed for example from lighting desks, are used to control lighting systems, such as those used in theaters and concert stages. These lighting installations regularly comprise a multiplicity of lighting devices, for example stage lights, wherein the lighting devices can in many cases also be switched over between a multiplicity of lighting states, for example different colors and intensities.
  • the various lighting devices with their under defenceli chen lighting conditions are controlled by programmed parame ter in the lighting program of the control system.
  • Usual lighting systems may include several thousandechoesein directions.
  • the individual Lichtstellmodule which may be, for example, lighting desks, equipped with a digital processor that allows digital data and signal processing.
  • a digital memory is further provided, which in particular makes it possible to archive lighting programs and then retrieve them as needed.
  • the control system includes generically several Lichtstellmodule that work off individual lighting programs separately from each other and control certain parts of the lighting system.
  • the creation of a control system that is realized by the Kombinati on several Lichtstellmodule, läs st st also the technical performance of the control system in a simple way to meet the j eiron need tune because to increase the efficiency only further Lichtstellmodule in the control system in addition to be involved.
  • a generic Steue system for controlling a lighting system is known for example from US 8 138 689.
  • the method according to the invention is based on the basic idea that a system time signal is generated in a light-adjusting module which serves for the timely synchronization of the various light-adjusting modules in the control system. After the generation of the system time signal, this is then forwarded via data lines to all the lighting system belonging to the control system. By receiving the system time signal, all lighting control modules of the control system can be synchronized with one another in terms of time. During the processing of the proceedingsspro programs in the various Lichtstellmodulen then follows the signal processing using the system time signal.
  • the frequency with which a system time signal serving to synchronize the individual light adjusting modules is generated is basically arbitrary. It is preferable for the system time signal to be generated recurrently with a regular time interval and forwarded to all light-adjusting modules.
  • the time interval between the individual system time signals may preferably be in the range between 5 ms to 50 ms, in particular approximately 30 ms. In other words, this means that a temporal synchronization of all Lichtstellmodule by the system time signal is at a repetition rate of 5ms to 50ms.
  • the method for operating a control system is provided, wherein at least one light adjusting module is an alreadybil det in the manner of a lighting console.
  • This light control desk then includes several controls, in particular buttons, sliders and / or knobs, which are arranged at the top of the housing. On the controls, the operator can then enter operating commands during programming and during the course of the lighting programs.
  • the lighting console comprises at least one display device, for example a color display.
  • a Digitalpro processor is included, which calculates an effects engine for generating lighting effects effects. Because with the temporal synchronization of these lighting effects even the smallest temporal deviations are very disturbing. Due to the temporal synchronization with the system time signal, the lighting effects can be realized with the highest precision in synchronized form.
  • the manner in which the lighting effect is calculated in the effect engine of the corresponding lighting control module is likewise basically arbitrary.
