Definitions
- the invention relates to a scaffolding staircase made of metal, plastic or carbon fiber composite material with step supports.
- the EP 1 893 827 B1 discloses a scaffolding staircase in which the stair step elements can be detachably coupled to one another by inserting them into one another and to the side stringers by means of holding devices.
- hooks are arranged on the side stringers as holding devices, which can engage in openings in the stair steps.
- DE 1 409 302 A1 describes a ladder consisting of side beams and rungs, in which a groove or rib running on the surface of side beams in their longitudinal direction engages a rib or groove running on the surface of rungs in their longitudinal direction in order to forcibly prevent the rungs from rotating about their longitudinal axis.
- a scaffolding staircase is disclosed, the components of which can be manufactured from light metal, for example aluminum, using the extrusion process. The steps are welded to the side walls of the scaffolding staircase in a predetermined arrangement. Hooks of various types, which have to be arranged as additional components on the staircase, for example welded on, lead to a higher time expenditure in the manufacture of the known scaffolding staircase.
- a mounted element extends to a rear wall of the element and in document BE 857 632 A a stair element extends to the back wall of a side panel.
- the scaffolding staircase has the features of claim 1.
- the scaffolding staircase can be made by plug connections. Welding to attach the steps to the side stringers is not necessary.
- the vertical forces that occur when using the staircase at the connections of the step elements or steps to the side stringers are absorbed by the side stringers and diverted to the side stringers.
- the step elements do not rest on additionally attached components such as hooks that protrude exposed over the side stringers.
- Welded connections can be dispensed with.
- the forces or loads acting on the step elements are introduced into the side stringers without additional components. This ensures that the connection between the step elements and the side stringers is very stable, even when the staircase is used for longer periods.
- the scaffolding stairs at least have metal or are made of metal, such as the side cheeks and the stair elements.
- the side surfaces of the side cheeks facing each other form inner surfaces of the side cheeks, the side surfaces of the side cheeks facing away from each other form outer surfaces of the side cheeks.
- the scaffolding stairs can be made of metal, a metal alloy, steel, plastic and/or a carbon fiber composite material.
- the grooves can be aligned parallel so that all stair treads can be inserted into the side panels with the same alignment.
- a further design of the scaffolding steps is characterized in that the same angle is formed between each groove and the longitudinal edges of the respective side stringers. In order to achieve a horizontal alignment of the stair elements, this angle can in particular correspond to a pitch angle of the side stringers.
- the longitudinal edges can be closed or at least partially open.
- the spacing from the ends of the side stringers, with which the grooves in the side stringers are formed, can be the same on both side stringers. This means that all steps can be connected to the side stringers horizontally aligned in the direction of their width.
- the side cheeks have a hollow profile and/or foam inside the side cheeks designed as a hollow profile.
- a hollow profile allows both the weight and the material consumption to be reduced compared to a solid material.
- the side cheeks have first stops for the stair step elements at the height of the grooves.
- the side cheeks are then pushed onto the stair step elements according to the invention without the stair step elements protruding beyond the side cheeks.
- the correct width of the stairs is determined during assembly without further adjustment or adaptation by the stops and the length of the stair step elements.
- the height is in particular the vertical distance from the lower end of the respective side cheek to the upper end of the respective side cheek when assembled.
- a further design of the scaffolding stairs is characterized in that the side cheeks have openings, in particular for rivets or bolts, at the level of the grooves on the side surfaces facing away from each other.
- the stair step elements can then be attached to the side cheeks using rivets.
- the stair step elements can be attached to the side cheeks using bolts, screws, for example with a Torx profile, clinching or toxing.
- a groove can be formed parallel to these grooves on the side surfaces of the side cheeks facing away from each other.
- the grooves closest to the ends of the side cheeks on the side surfaces facing towards and away from each other can be used for the correct positioning and fastening of other components of a staircase arrangement, in particular when sliding on landings, at the lower and upper ends of the side cheeks.
- At least one protruding rib is formed on the side surfaces facing each other, in particular on the side surfaces facing each other and the side surfaces facing away from each other, of the side cheeks, in particular in the middle, in the longitudinal direction of the respective side cheek, which has the grooves or groove sections.
- the grooves are formed in the rib in the form of recesses, for example by milling, whereby the side cheeks still have sufficient stability or strength.
- the recess depths or groove depths in the side cheeks are limited and end at the height of the grooves between the ribs of the hollow profile.
- the side cheeks have ribs that are regularly or irregularly spaced from one another.
- a first rib can be formed on a first longitudinal edge and a second rib on a second longitudinal edge.
- Multiple ribs increase the rigidity of the side cheeks and provide more stable support for the stair step elements.
- the grooves can be formed by recesses in the ribs over the entire width of the respective side cheek between the longitudinal edges and thus enable more stable guidance of the free ends of the stair step elements in the grooves, in particular when inserting the stair step elements.
- the groove flanks can form a support surface for the stair step elements.
- a first, second, third and fourth protruding rib is arranged on the mutually facing surfaces of the side cheeks.
- the first and fourth protruding rib are arranged on the longitudinal edges of the side cheeks and the second and third protruding ribs are arranged between the first and fourth protruding rib.
- the second and third protruding ribs can be spaced apart from one another by a greater distance than the first and second protruding ribs are spaced apart from one another and the third and fourth protruding ribs are spaced apart from one another.
- the distances between the first and second ribs and between the third and fourth ribs can in particular be the same.
- Hollow chambers can be formed in at least one side wall.
- the side walls of the hollow chambers can provide better stiffening of the side walls.
- the steps can have hook-shaped tabs, in particular with openings into which bolts or rivets can be inserted.
- the tabs can then be attached to the side walls with bolts and/or rivets so that they can be moved or fixed in place for secure fixing.
- the side panels advantageously have a gradient of 30° to 55°. Such a gradient enables the stairs to be climbed safely and quickly in accordance with the DIN EN 12811 standard.
- the scaffolding stairs can be made of a light metal, especially aluminum. Such a scaffolding staircase is very stable despite its relatively low weight.
- a staircase arrangement has a scaffold staircase according to the invention and a platform arranged on the scaffold staircase, in particular one that can be releasably fixed.
- the staircase arrangement can in particular have a platform arranged at each end of the scaffold staircase.
- a platform provides a better connection, for example for easy access without additional components, of the scaffold staircase to adjacent components, such as scaffolding parts (scaffolding posts, scaffolding tubes, scaffolding decking).
- An advantageous embodiment of the staircase arrangement is characterized in that the platform has two slots and/or two profile rails, into or between which a side stringer of the scaffolding staircase can be inserted.
- the slots and/or the profile rails each have a second stop for the side stringers.
- the platform can be arranged on the scaffolding staircase in a simple manner using such slots or rails.
- each slot and/or each profile rail can have two opposing springs.
- Each spring can be inserted into one of the grooves that are formed closest to the ends of the side cheeks on each side surface.
- Such springs can be used to secure the side cheeks against vertical displacement in relation to the platforms when the springs engage in the corresponding grooves.
- the entire force is transferred from the scaffolding steps to the platforms. This enables a rigid connection between the scaffolding steps and the platforms, in particular without additional components.
- the slots and/or the profile rails can have openings into which bolts or rivets can be inserted.
- the platform can be easily attached to the scaffolding stairs using such bolts and/or rivets. It also provides protection against displacement, particularly in the horizontal direction, and allows additional vertical force to be absorbed.
- the length of the scaffolding stairs in the horizontal direction can be designed by choosing different platforms with different lengths.
- the height of the scaffolding stairs in the vertical direction can also be Direction can be varied, among other things, by choosing different lengths of the side stringers of the scaffolding stairs and different angles of inclination of the side stringers.
- the scaffolding staircase according to the invention can be manufactured in particular without welded joints.
- the stair elements are permanently connected to the side stringers.
- the platforms can be removed from the scaffolding staircase without any major effort for space-saving transport.
- a side stringer of a scaffolding staircase made of metal, plastic or carbon fiber composite material has grooves formed on a side surface which are designed at a distance from one another to accommodate stair step elements.
- the grooves can be open at least at one end.
- a scaffolding staircase 10 according to the invention is shown in an exploded view.
- the scaffolding staircase 10 has a first side cheek 12 and a second side cheek 14 , which is arranged at a distance from the first side cheek 12 and parallel to this runs.

It is therefore the object of the invention to provide a scaffolding staircase with holding devices that can be manufactured in a stable form with as little time as possible. It is also the object of the invention to provide a staircase arrangement with as little time as possible for production. It is also the object of the invention to provide a side stringer for a scaffolding staircase according to the invention.
The object is achieved by a scaffolding staircase according to
According to the invention, the scaffolding staircase has the features of
The grooves can be aligned parallel so that all stair treads can be inserted into the side panels with the same alignment.
A further design of the scaffolding steps is characterized in that the same angle is formed between each groove and the longitudinal edges of the respective side stringers. In order to achieve a horizontal alignment of the stair elements, this angle can in particular correspond to a pitch angle of the side stringers. The longitudinal edges can be closed or at least partially open.
The spacing from the ends of the side stringers, with which the grooves in the side stringers are formed, can be the same on both side stringers. This means that all steps can be connected to the side stringers horizontally aligned in the direction of their width.
In an advantageous embodiment of the scaffolding stairs, the side cheeks have a hollow profile and/or foam inside the side cheeks designed as a hollow profile. A hollow profile allows both the weight and the material consumption to be reduced compared to a solid material. By filling the inside of the side walls with foam, the stability of the side walls can be increased with a relatively small increase in weight.
According to the invention, the side cheeks have first stops for the stair step elements at the height of the grooves. The side cheeks are then pushed onto the stair step elements according to the invention without the stair step elements protruding beyond the side cheeks. The correct width of the stairs is determined during assembly without further adjustment or adaptation by the stops and the length of the stair step elements. The height is in particular the vertical distance from the lower end of the respective side cheek to the upper end of the respective side cheek when assembled.
A further design of the scaffolding stairs is characterized in that the side cheeks have openings, in particular for rivets or bolts, at the level of the grooves on the side surfaces facing away from each other. The stair step elements can then be attached to the side cheeks using rivets. Alternatively or in addition to this, the stair step elements can be attached to the side cheeks using bolts, screws, for example with a Torx profile, clinching or toxing.
At the level of the grooves closest to the ends of the side cheeks, a groove can be formed parallel to these grooves on the side surfaces of the side cheeks facing away from each other. The grooves closest to the ends of the side cheeks on the side surfaces facing towards and away from each other can be used for the correct positioning and fastening of other components of a staircase arrangement, in particular when sliding on landings, at the lower and upper ends of the side cheeks.
According to the invention, at least one protruding rib is formed on the side surfaces facing each other, in particular on the side surfaces facing each other and the side surfaces facing away from each other, of the side cheeks, in particular in the middle, in the longitudinal direction of the respective side cheek, which has the grooves or groove sections. The grooves are formed in the rib in the form of recesses, for example by milling, whereby the side cheeks still have sufficient stability or strength. The recess depths or groove depths in the side cheeks are limited and end at the height of the grooves between the ribs of the hollow profile.
Alternatively, according to the invention, the side cheeks have ribs that are regularly or irregularly spaced from one another. In particular, a first rib can be formed on a first longitudinal edge and a second rib on a second longitudinal edge. Multiple ribs increase the rigidity of the side cheeks and provide more stable support for the stair step elements. The grooves can be formed by recesses in the ribs over the entire width of the respective side cheek between the longitudinal edges and thus enable more stable guidance of the free ends of the stair step elements in the grooves, in particular when inserting the stair step elements. The groove flanks can form a support surface for the stair step elements.
In a further embodiment of the scaffolding steps, a first, second, third and fourth protruding rib is arranged on the mutually facing surfaces of the side cheeks. Of the ribs, in particular the first and fourth protruding rib are arranged on the longitudinal edges of the side cheeks and the second and third protruding ribs are arranged between the first and fourth protruding rib.
The second and third protruding ribs can be spaced apart from one another by a greater distance than the first and second protruding ribs are spaced apart from one another and the third and fourth protruding ribs are spaced apart from one another. The distances between the first and second ribs and between the third and fourth ribs can in particular be the same.
Hollow chambers can be formed in at least one side wall. The side walls of the hollow chambers can provide better stiffening of the side walls.
The steps can have hook-shaped tabs, in particular with openings into which bolts or rivets can be inserted. The tabs can then be attached to the side walls with bolts and/or rivets so that they can be moved or fixed in place for secure fixing.
The side panels advantageously have a gradient of 30° to 55°. Such a gradient enables the stairs to be climbed safely and quickly in accordance with the DIN EN 12811 standard.
The scaffolding stairs can be made of a light metal, especially aluminum. Such a scaffolding staircase is very stable despite its relatively low weight.
A staircase arrangement has a scaffold staircase according to the invention and a platform arranged on the scaffold staircase, in particular one that can be releasably fixed. The staircase arrangement can in particular have a platform arranged at each end of the scaffold staircase. A platform provides a better connection, for example for easy access without additional components, of the scaffold staircase to adjacent components, such as scaffolding parts (scaffolding posts, scaffolding tubes, scaffolding decking).
An advantageous embodiment of the staircase arrangement is characterized in that the platform has two slots and/or two profile rails, into or between which a side stringer of the scaffolding staircase can be inserted. The slots and/or the profile rails each have a second stop for the side stringers. The platform can be arranged on the scaffolding staircase in a simple manner using such slots or rails.
The flanks of each slot and/or each profile rail can have two opposing springs. Each spring can be inserted into one of the grooves that are formed closest to the ends of the side cheeks on each side surface. Such springs can be used to secure the side cheeks against vertical displacement in relation to the platforms when the springs engage in the corresponding grooves. When using such springs and grooves, the entire force is transferred from the scaffolding steps to the platforms. This enables a rigid connection between the scaffolding steps and the platforms, in particular without additional components.
The slots and/or the profile rails can have openings into which bolts or rivets can be inserted. The platform can be easily attached to the scaffolding stairs using such bolts and/or rivets. It also provides protection against displacement, particularly in the horizontal direction, and allows additional vertical force to be absorbed.
The length of the scaffolding stairs in the horizontal direction can be designed by choosing different platforms with different lengths. The height of the scaffolding stairs in the vertical direction can also be Direction can be varied, among other things, by choosing different lengths of the side stringers of the scaffolding stairs and different angles of inclination of the side stringers.
The scaffolding staircase according to the invention can be manufactured in particular without welded joints. The stair elements are permanently connected to the side stringers. The platforms can be removed from the scaffolding staircase without any major effort for space-saving transport.
A side stringer of a scaffolding staircase made of metal, plastic or carbon fiber composite material has grooves formed on a side surface which are designed at a distance from one another to accommodate stair step elements.
In the side panels of a scaffolding staircase, the grooves can be open at least at one end.
