Abstract

Description

The present invention relates to a washing basket for dishwashers, the washing basket having a lattice-shaped basket base formed from base webs and side walls, and the side walls together with the basket base surrounding a basket interior of the washing basket.

In addition, the invention also relates to an arrangement with a dishwasher and a washing basket and a method for washing objects arranged in the interior of a washing basket in a dishwasher.

In the prior art, washing baskets of the generic type are used for washing dishes, glasses, cutlery and the like in dishwashers. In the industrial sector in particular, such washing racks can also be used for washing other items in dishwashers.

A wash basket of the type mentioned is z. B. in the EP 1 287 780 B1 shown.

It is the object of the invention to improve washing racks of the generic type in such a way that they contribute to the best possible washing result.

According to the invention it is provided for this that at least some of the bottom webs, seen in a plan view of the basket base, are designed to run in a curved manner, preferably as a sequence of curved base webs.

Due to the at least partially curved bottom webs, the washing liquid sprayed into the washing basket from below in the dishwasher is specifically deflected so that the items to be washed stored in the interior of the basket are deflected rinsing fluid can be applied from as many different sides as possible. In this way, it is at least largely avoided that there are areas of the objects to be washed that are not exposed to washing liquid. Overall, the washing result is improved by the at least partially curved bottom webs. Washing baskets according to the invention can be used for washing dishes, glasses, cutlery, but also other objects in correspondingly suitable dishwashers. The washing racks according to the invention can be used accordingly both in the catering sector and in industrial production.

The interior of the basket surrounded by the basket base and the side walls can be open at the top, that is to say on the side facing away from the basket base. However, washing baskets according to the invention can also be equipped with lids or the like, optionally latticed.

Basically, the washing baskets can be made of different materials. It is preferably a plastic wash baskets. The bottom webs and the side walls, preferably the entire washing basket, can or can be formed in one piece. The washing racks according to the invention can e.g. are manufactured by injection molding.

When in doubt, the terms above and below refer to an operating position of the wash basket in which the basket base forms the lower end of the wash basket and is usually on a horizontal surface. Seen in this operating position, the vertical extension of the bottom webs is advantageously greater, preferably at least twice or at least three times as large as the width or in other words the horizontal extension of the bottom webs.

The term of the lattice-shaped basket base describes that the basket base has free spaces or passage openings between the base webs through which, for example, the washing liquid can enter the basket interior through the basket base.

When viewed from above on the washing basket, the washing basket, as is known per se, can have a rectangular, in particular square, but also a differently shaped basic shape. The term rectangular or square basic shape also includes those embodiments in which the corners of this basic shape are rounded.

It is particularly preferably provided that the part of the bottom webs, seen in the plan view of the basket bottom, is designed to be curved in sections or completely around the center point of the basket bottom.

In the case of the invention, the bottom webs can basically be designed with very different curves. The degree of curvature can also vary along the bottom webs.

Particularly preferred embodiments of the invention, however, provide that the part of the bottom webs, seen in the plan view of the basket base, is designed to be circular or at least curved in the shape of a segment of a circle, preferably as a sequence of base webs which are circular or at least curved in the shape of a segment of a circle. In this case, at least some of the bottom webs that run circularly or at least curved in the shape of a segment of a circle when viewed from above on the basket bottom can have a common center point of a circle. In particularly preferred embodiments of the invention, this applies to all base webs which run circularly or at least in the shape of a segment of a circle and curved, in that they all have a common center point of a circle. Preferred variants provide that the common circle center point or the common circle center points, as seen in the plan view of the basket base, is or are arranged on a diagonal of the basket base. In particular, if all, seen in the above-mentioned plan view of the basket base, circular or at least circular segment-shaped curved running bottom webs have the same common circle center, this circle center conveniently lies on the center of the Basket bottom. The radii of curvature of the base webs, which are preferably circular or at least curved in the shape of a segment of a circle, in preferred embodiments of the invention, seen in the above-mentioned plan view of the basket base, advantageously increase with the distance from the center of the basket base and / or from their common circle center.

Particularly in the case of washing racks that are intended or should at least be suitable for automated transport through a dishwasher, preferred variants of embodiments according to the invention provide that the basket base, as seen in the top view of the basket base, also has a cross-shaped structure running through the center of the basket base each having floor webs running parallel to one of the side walls of the wash basket. The bottom webs forming the cross-shaped structure favorably extend further down, i.e. in the direction of the basket base facing away from the interior of the basket than the other bottom webs of the basket base, so that known grippers of a dishwasher can engage in the cross-shaped structure to move the wash basket through the dishwasher to transport.

There are basically different ways in which the base bars forming the cross-shaped structure can be integrated into the basket base. For example, it is possible for the cross-shaped structure to subdivide the basket base into, preferably four, segments arranged separately from one another by means of the cross-shaped structure, and for the curved base webs to be arranged exclusively in the segments. In addition, but also alternatively, it can also be provided that the cross-shaped structure is arranged on the side of the curved bottom webs opposite the basket interior. It is preferably provided, as stated above, that the bottom webs of the cross-shaped structure protrude beyond the other bottom webs in the direction away from the interior of the basket.

In addition to the washing basket per se, the invention also relates to an arrangement with a dishwasher and with a washing basket according to the invention, the washing basket in the dishwasher is arranged and washing liquid nozzles of the dishwasher are arranged below the basket bottom and a respective washing liquid discharge direction of the respective washing liquid nozzles is directed towards the basket bottom. It is preferably provided that the washing liquid nozzles are arranged in or on a rotatably mounted washing arm of the washing machine, the washing arm then also being located below the basket base. In this arrangement, the washing liquid is sprayed from the washing liquid nozzles from below through the basket bottom onto the objects to be washed in the basket interior. In this case, a relatively large proportion of the total amount of washing liquid discharged by the washing liquid nozzles passes through the free spaces or through openings in the bottom of the basket without being deflected. However, if the washing liquid hits the curved bottom webs, it is deflected there, so that a multitude of different directions are formed in the basket interior, in which the washing liquid hits the objects to be washed and stored in the basket interior. As explained above, this achieves a particularly good washing result.

In addition, the invention also relates to a method for washing objects arranged in the basket interior of a washing basket according to the invention in a dishwasher, wherein the washing basket for washing the objects in the dishwasher is arranged via washing liquid nozzles of the dishwasher and washing liquid is sprayed from the washing liquid nozzles through the basket bottom into the basket interior is, with parts of the rinsing liquid being diverted from the curved bottom webs into the basket interior.

Fig. 1 shows, in a perspective view obliquely from above, a washing basket 1 in which part of the bottom webs 3 are designed to run in a curved manner according to the invention. The washing basket 1 has a lattice-shaped basket base 6 formed from base webs 3, 4, 5 and side walls 7. The side walls 7 and the basket base 6 together surround the basket interior 8 of the washing basket 1. The side walls 7 can, as shown in this exemplary embodiment, be partially perforated with openings. The basket interior 8 is open at the top in this embodiment. In the z. The washing baskets 1 shown here each have a square basic shape with rounded corners. As already explained at the beginning, washing racks 1 according to the invention can of course also be designed with rectangular or other basic shapes, optionally with rounded or non-rounded corners. Rinsing baskets 1 according to the invention are advantageously made from plastic. It can be provided that all components of the washing rack are connected to one another in one piece. However, multi-part variants are also possible. According to the invention washing baskets 1 can, for. B. be manufactured by injection molding.

The Figs. 2 and 3 show the first exemplary embodiment of the washing basket 1 according to the invention in a plan view of the basket base 6. In Fig. 3 the rotatably mounted washing arm 15 of a dishwasher 2 is also shown, which the Has washing liquid nozzles 14 and sprays with these washing liquid 18 from below through the basket bottom 6 into the basket bottom interior 8. Looking at the top views according to Figs. 2 and 3 of this first embodiment, it can be clearly seen that some of the bottom webs, here in the form of the bottom webs 3, are designed to run according to the invention in a curved manner in the plan view of the basket bottom 6. It is in each case a sequence of curved bottom webs 3. The bottom webs 3, as seen in the top view shown, are designed to be curved in sections around the center point 9 of the basket base 6. In this first exemplary embodiment, the bottom webs 3 are designed to run in the shape of a segment of a circle and curved.

In addition, the basket base 6 also has base webs 4 which run parallel to one of the side walls 7. In this first exemplary embodiment, the cross-shaped structure 12 in the basket base 6 divides the basket base 6 into four segments 13 which are arranged separately from one another, with base webs 3 running in a curved manner in each of these segments 13. The bottom webs 3 are each designed to run in the shape of a segment of a circle and curved. The bottom webs 3 arranged in a respective segment 13 each have a common center point 10 of a circle.

The greater the distance of the respective circular segment-shaped bottom web 3 from the respective circle center 10, the greater the radius of this bottom web 3. The circular centers 10 of the four segments 13 each lie on a diagonal 11 of the basket base 6.

To stiffen the basket bottom 6 in the area of the curved bottom webs 3, in preferred embodiments, such as the one shown here, all or some of the curved bottom webs 3 are additionally provided which, as shown here, favorably with respect to the respective common center of a circle 10 are arranged to run radially.

Fig. 7 shows an example of an arrangement with a dishwasher 2 and a washing rack 1 according to the invention arranged therein, the dishwasher 2 being shown only in a very simplified manner.
