Definitions
- the invention relates to a grip or housing for a self-loading firearm with a slide catch device and a self-loading firearm equipped therewith.
- position designations such as “above”, “below”, “front”, “back” etc. always refer to a weapon held in a normal firing position, in which the bore axis runs horizontally and the shot is fired forwards away from the shooter.
- Bolt catch devices are known in various designs and have the task of catching and holding a bolt or releasing it for firing.
- the cartridge feeder of the magazine usually presses on an arm of the slide catch device that protrudes into the magazine shaft and pivots or shifts it into the movement path of the slide, ie into its so-called catch and hold position.
- the slide which initially recedes after the shot has been fired, then hits the slide safety device when it advances again and both block each other.
- the shooter can release the slide again by manually actuating the slide catch or a slide catch lever, i. H. the slide stop lever returns to its so-called release position.
- the breech then inserts a cartridge into the cartridge chamber as it advances further and the gun is ready to fire again.
- This automatic catching and holding of the leading bolt when the magazine is empty has two advantages, among others: the shooter immediately recognizes when the magazine is empty and after inserting a full magazine, he can release the bolt to load a cartridge without having to reload the weapon.
- a self-loading pistol with a magazine catch and a slide catch is known.
- the slide catching device is connected to the magazine catch via a spring latch mechanism, with the magazine catch and the closure device being in an operative connection in such a way that when the magazine catch is actuated, the closure can be released from its closure catch position.
- the slide catch device can be moved longitudinally.
- a slide catching device is known which is coupled to a decocking device having a decocking lever for decocking the firing mechanism.
- This decocking lever can also be used to actuate the slide catch.
- the GB 15 783 discloses a slide catch device with a catch piece pivoted on an axis, the catch piece comprises two side cheeks, each with a catch projection. There is no provision for deactivating the slide catch as such.
- a multifunction safety bolt catch release lever is used to disengage the bolt catch from the bolt when the empty magazine follower fails to engage the catch with its driving lug and pivots up into the bolt trajectory, which occurs with a full magazine, with everyone inside cartridge is the case.
- the WO 2005/047804 A2 discloses a slide catch and release device for a self-loading firearm, which can be loaded into the slide catch position in the usual way via the feeder of the magazine after the last cartridge has been released.
- the slide catch device comprises a lever end which extends downwards into the area of the trigger guard and which a shooter can manually apply downwards in order to bring the slide catch device into its release position.
- This slide catch and release device has the same slide catch blocking system as in the DE 196 55 169 C2 described by the applicant.
- the weapon When the slide catch is activated after the last cartridge has been fired, the weapon remains open until a new magazine is inserted and/or the slide catch is manually operated to release the slide so that it can move forwards towards the cartridge chamber.
- the locking mechanism is provided to hold the slide catch in its rest position and is designed as a trigger leg spring.
- a front leg of the spring passes through the slide catch and engages behind a projection in the grip.
- Two indentations are provided in the slide catch to accommodate the spring leg alternately.
- the object of the invention is to provide an alternative deactivation of the slide catch device, in particular a structurally simple and functionally reliable locking device.
- the generic grip or housing is characterized according to claim 1 in that the locking device is in its rest position disengaged from the slide catch lever and is in its locked position engaged with the slide catch lever and deactivates it.
- the self-loading firearm according to claim 14 is equipped with a grip according to any one of claims 1 to 13 or a housing according to any one of claims 1 to 9.
- the slide catch device can be provided for a wide variety of self-loading firearms, for example for a machine gun, a sniper rifle, an assault rifle or a self-loading pistol.
- the locking device according to the invention can be used to deactivate the locking device, i.e. the locking device is locked in its release position and cannot be brought into its locking/holding position or locking position.
- this ensures that the breech is always in its front position, whether it is single or continuous fire, after the last shot has been fired from the magazine, in which it has the ejection window, which is located on the left or right side of a weapon can be closed.
- Weapon housing in the sense of the present invention comprises a one-piece or multi-part weapon housing, which can consist, for example, of a housing upper part and a housing lower part or grip.
- the slide catch device is provided there at a suitable position.
- the lower housing part or grip can be used as a grip module, a grip module with a magazine shaft for receiving a magazine, a grip module with a mount for a trigger device, a grip module with a magazine shaft and a mount for a trigger device, a grip module with a mount for a trigger device and a shoulder rest, or a grip module with a magazine shaft, a mount for a trigger device and a shoulder rest.
- the blocking device according to the invention has a simple structure and is functionally reliable and thus increases the reliability of a slide catch device and a firearm equipped with it.
- the catch catch device according to the invention and the locking device can be produced inexpensively, for example, using known metal casting methods or metal powder injection molding methods, so-called MIM methods (Metal Injection Moulding), but also, for example, using conventional sintering methods.
- MIM methods Metal Injection Moulding

Furthermore, a trigger blade 27 is provided within a trigger guard 29 . Above the trigger guard 29 there is a control handle 31 designed as a release button for actuating a magazine holding/release mechanism with which a magazine (not shown) inserted into the magazine shaft 30 can be held there and/or released. A circled section 33 is provided above the operating handle 31, which can be seen in a larger detailed illustration in 2 is shown, and parts of the slide catch device 36 and the locking device 42 (cf. Figures 2 to 7 ) indicates.
- the slide stop device 36 comprises a one-piece slide stop lever 39 according to the one cited at the outset DE 10 2012 019 422 B3 the applicant of the same name.
- FIG 2 12 shows an enlarged perspective view of the circled portion 33 of FIG 1 .
- a partial section of the rear side of the magazine shaft 30 is shown in the upper left area.
- An actuating handle 35 for operating the slide catch device 36, more precisely the one-piece slide catch lever 39, is shown approximately in the middle.
- the actuating handle 35 rests on a support surface 37 formed on the right side of the grip 5 and the Bolt stop lever 39 is in its release position, allowing the bolt to slide over it.
- the slide stop lever 39 includes a slide stop and holding surface 41, as in FIG DE 10 2012 019 422 B3 is described by the applicant of the same name works. After the last shot has been fired from the magazine, the magazine feeder pushes the slide catch lever 39 up into its catch position.
- the operating handle 31 for the magazine holding/release mechanism is shown enlarged. This is pushed into the grip 5 against the force of a spring (not shown), whereby a lug (not shown) disengages from a recess formed in a magazine (not shown), so that the magazine falls out of the magazine shaft 30 or can be inferred.
- the blocking element 43 has an operating surface 45 on its outside, and is coaxial with the tube 16 laterally within a guide recess 46 on the right side of the handle 5 approximately at the upper end portion of the magazine well 30 is used.
- the blocking element 43 is guided in a longitudinally displaceable manner within the guide section 46 .
- the operating surface 45 of the blocking element 43 has a corrugated structure on the outside for better gripping. This also enables actuation, for example, under difficult conditions or possibly with gloves.
- FIG. 3 shows an enlarged detail view of the blocking element 43 obliquely from behind and above 4 an enlarged detailed representation of the locking element 43 in a view obliquely from behind and below.
- the blocking element or the safety slide 43 can be displaced between a release position and a blocking position, in which case it has the function of the release position Slide catch 36 releases and disables the function of the slide catch 36 in its locked position.
- the control surface 45 is approximately rectangular and on the back, ie the side facing the handle 5 and inserted there, guide sections 47 for guiding the blocking element 43 in the handle 5 are provided.
- the guide sections 47 are designed in the manner of a groove, extend over the upper side of the blocking element 43 and are interrupted on the right-hand side (cf. also figure 5 ).
- a through hole 77 is provided as an extension of the detent deactivation recess 61, which passes through the blocking element 43 transversely to the shooting direction.
- the upper recess 49 between the guide sections with its through hole 77 is used to dismantle the locking element 43 from the handle piece 5.
- a pin (not shown) is inserted through through hole 77 and locking pin 63 is pressed into grip 5 against locking spiral spring 65 until ring section 68 is in grip 5 to such an extent that it does not touch edge section 52 more behind and the locking element 43 can be removed from its guide 46 in the handle to the rear.
- the slide catch device 36 must be removed from the grip 5 beforehand.
- the blocking element 43 is pushed into the guide section 46 of the handle 5, where it runs over the ring section 68 of the locking pin 63 with the beveled side of the edge section 52, which is located in the recess 54 in one of the locking recesses 59 or 61 locked.
- the guide section 47 runs downwards all the way round. Adjacent to an edge section 52, the guide groove or the guide section 47 is interrupted on the underside of the blocking element 43. A rear locking recess 59 and a front locking recess 61 are provided in a recess 54 . A guide recess or another guide section 57 adjoins the recess 54 and extends in the direction of the rear end of the blocking element 43. The guide section 57 does not continue to the rear end of the blocking element 43, but ends a little earlier in order to provide sufficient space for a blocking surface 55 for receiving or reaching over the front end section of the actuating handle 35 of the slide catch lever 39 to provide.
- the locking element 43 extends with its extended protruding end 53 beyond the guide surfaces 47, 52, overlaps them and thus forms a contact surface on the handle piece 5 with its rear side.
- a locking pin 63 is provided on the underside of the blocking element 43, the upper end of which (cf. Figures 5 to 7 ) has a conically tapering end section 68, the dimensions of which are approximately complementary to the dimensions of the latching recesses 59 and 61 and whose diameter is smaller than the ring section 70. These two conical surfaces, which are complementary to one another, limit the immersion depth of the latching pin 63 in the respective latching recess 59 or 61. Adjacent to the conical end section, the latching pin 63 comprises a slightly tapered ring section 68, which merges via a step 69 into an elongated ring section 70 with an enlarged diameter.
- the ring section 70 tapers at its lower end and forms a pin section there, via which a counter bearing 67 in the form of a stop for a detent spring 65 is formed.
- the rear latching recess 59 in the installed state is used to activate or release the slide catch device 36 and the front latching recess 61 to deactivate the function of the slide catch device 36.
- the blocking element 43 is thus mounted in the guide section 46 of the handle 5 so that it can be displaced longitudinally.
- the relocatability is shown schematically via the arrow in Figures 5 to 7 implied.
- the locking pin 63 is locked with its conical end section in the rear locking recess 59 .
- the detent pin 63 is guided in a spring-loaded manner within a blind hole 73 provided perpendicularly to the firing direction.
- the detent spring 65 is delimited and prestressed at its lower end by a counter bearing 75 at the end of the blind hole 73 .
- the detent pin 63 can be moved downwards within the blind hole 73 in the direction of the counter bearing 75 against the force of the spring 65 for unlocking.
- the locking pin is in the rear locking recess 59, in which the slide catch device 36 and in particular the actuating handle 35 of the slide catch lever 39 is released. In this state, the slide catch lever 39 can carry out its function and catch the slide after the last shot has been fired.
- the locking spiral spring 65 relaxes at least partially and fixes the locking pin 63 there.
- the slide catch device 36 is deactivated because the rear end section of the blocking element 43 with its blocking surface 55, which is formed approximately at right angles, passes over the counter-surface 38, which is formed in a complementary manner (cf. 6 / 7 ) is pushed on the actuation handle 35 of the slide catch lever 39.
- This measure fixes the slide stop lever 39 in its release function, so that its holding or guide surface 41 does not lag behind can protrude up into the movement path of the breech or breech head, not shown, and the breech cannot be caught or held.
- this rear end section or the blocking surface 55 is shown in partial section within the circle and shows how the blocking surface 55 rests on the mating surface 38 of the actuating handle 35 .
- the guidance of the blocking element 43 within the grip guide in the guide section 46 is also shown.
- the above process is reversed, i.e. the shooter moves the blocking element 43 on its operating surface 45 to the right, i.e. in the direction of the barrel muzzle, which in turn pushes the locking pin 63 downwards against the spring force of the locking spiral spring 65 the conical end section surfaces is pushed out of the front locking recess 61 until it can enter the rear locking recess 59 again and fixes the blocking element 43 or the safety slide 43 in the release position.
- Figures 8 to 12 show a second embodiment of the self-loading firearm 1, which is presently designed as the applicant's HK433 assault rifle.
- the assault rifle 1 has the elements corresponding to the first embodiment, some of which differ in shape and design. A shoulder rest is not shown here, only an interface 82 for mounting it. Furthermore, the embodiment differs according to FIG Figures 8 to 12 and particularly 8 thereby different from the first embodiment Figures 1 to 7 that a charging device 81 with a charging lever 83 is shown as the operating handle, which is provided in a known manner within a guide slot 85 in the weapon housing, more precisely in the upper housing part 7 ′, for charging the breech or gas pressure loading mechanism.
- Reference numeral 33' shows a detail of the slide catch device with locking mechanism or locking device 42'.
- the locking device 42' of the second embodiment is inside the housing, to be more precise arranged opposite to a trigger mechanism 86 at the rear end of the magazine shaft 30' in the handle 5'.
- Figures 9 to 12 show the detail 33 'in an enlarged sectional view and the locking device 42' with the locking element 93 in two perspective views.
- FIG. 9 shows a longitudinal section through the HK433 assault rifle, somewhat to the left of the trigger blade 27'.
- the trigger mechanism 86 is shown in greater detail in the grip 5' and comprises a known hammer 87 which is mounted on a hammer axle 89 and which operates against the force of a hammer spring 91 in 9 is shown biased.
- the other actuating elements for triggering the trigger mechanism after actuating the trigger blade 27' are known and are therefore not explained in any more detail.
- the locking device 42' is shown at the front end, that is to say the side of the receiving space for the trigger mechanism 86 which faces the magazine shaft 30'.
- This essentially comprises what is known as a shaped spring 93 (cf. Figures 10 and 11 ).
- This has an elongated hole 95 in its interior, which is mounted on a molded spring bearing axis or safety axis 97 that passes through the grip 5 transversely to the firing direction and is longitudinally displaceable in the firing direction and counter to the firing direction.
- the shaped spring 93 acts on its underside with a pin-like counter-locking element 92, which extends upwards within the lower housing part 5' perpendicularly to the firing direction to the barrel axis of the self-loading firearm (not shown).
- the counter-locking element 92 has a wedge-shaped end section 94 at its upper end, which in turn is designed to engage with the shaped spring 93 (cf. also 9 and 12 ).
- the shaped spring 93 is provided as a blocking element and has guide surfaces 96 in its interior, on the upper side and on the opposite underside approximately in the center of the elongated hole 95 , which allow the shaped spring 93 to be displaced on the securing axis 97 .
- Shaped spring 93 includes a core portion that approximately surrounds elongated hole 95 in complementary dimensions.
- the lower guide surface 103 corresponds to a blocking surface which is intended to block the slide catch function and thus the bolt catch when the front end of the extension section 99 dips into the slide catch 36' or the slide catch lever 39' and a complementary recess 100 provided there 36' or the slide catch lever 39' (cf. 12 ), if desired.
- the upper guide surface 101 changes in a wavy manner in the direction of the elongated hole into a raised transition section 107 which in turn changes into an extension 104 extending upwards.
- the upper extension 104 has an approximately flat surface 102 on its upper side and on its front side, ie on the side facing the extension 99, an operating surface 105 which is used for gripping the upper extension 104 and its manual operation by a shooter.
- a marksman can reach into the area of the trigger mechanism, with the shaped spring in the assembled state preferably being provided in the left-hand third of the receiving space for the trigger mechanism 86, i.e. laterally spaced from the hammer 87.
- a spring section 109 is provided on the underside of the shaped spring or locking element 93 .
- This includes a recessed area 111 which extends approximately over the entire length of the underside of the shaped spring below the elongated hole 95 .
- the recessed area 111 widens at its front end 113 and its rear end 115 in the form of a drop.
- a locking lug 119 which extends approximately in a wedge shape downwards between guide sections 117 approximately in the front third of the underside.
- the detent 119 can be pressed and pressed in the direction of the elongated hole 95 to move the shaped spring from the rest position to the locked position and vice versa (cf. 12 ).
- the latching lug 119 lies with its front side facing the magazine shaft 30' on the in 9 shown rear wedge-shaped end 94 of the counter-locking element 92.
- the counter-locking element 92 is rigid within the accommodating space for the trigger mechanism 86 mounted on its front wall.
- the counter-locking element 92 is provided as a steel pin which is inserted into a recess in the aluminum of the trigger housing.
- the slide catch device 36' or the slide catch lever 39' is guided in a recess in the rear magazine shaft wall. Furthermore, the slide catch lever 39' comprises a recess 100, the dimensions of which correspond approximately to the dimensions of the extension section 99 of the shaped spring (cf. 12 ). In 9 the shaped spring 93 is fixed via the counter-locking element 92. The function of the slide catch lever 39' is released, which is illustrated by the arrow extending on both sides perpendicular to the firing direction. The bolt catch 36' is in the activated state in which the bolt catch 36' is free to catch and set the bolt (not shown) after a final shot has been fired.
- the slide catch device 36' can no longer move into the movement path of the slide (not shown), so that, as mentioned at the outset, the slide is in its front end position after the last shot has been fired Shot remains and the lateral ejection window 21 'is blocked, so that the ingress of dirt is prevented, or at least reduced.
- the advantage of the internal shaped spring 93 or blocking element 93 in the second embodiment is that it is located inside the lower part of the handle 5', so that unintentional operation is avoided.
- the shaped spring 93 can be designed or provided with a corresponding elasticity in such a way that an unwanted or unintentional movement of the control element or the control surface 105 and the extension 104 by a user, and above all by a weapon acceleration when firing a shot, is prevented .
- the blocking element 43 is advantageously provided in the outer wall of the lower part of the grip 5 in the weapon housing, in order to prevent unintentional deactivation by means of a flush finish.
- the spring or pressure piece design serves to prevent unintentional actuation of the blocking element 43, for example due to weapon acceleration when a shot is fired.
