Description

The present invention relates to a vehicle body, in particular for trucks, according to the preamble of claim 1.

The DE 39 41 084 C2 discloses a spring break protection for gate shafts of sectional doors, in which a blocking plate is connected to a door shaft, which has distributed receiving bores for a locking pin. The locking pin is mounted radially displaceable to the door shaft in a holding plate and, when triggered, can engage in the radial blind bores of the locking wheel in order to stop the door shaft. Such a spring break protection can be used in sectional doors for garages, but is not suitable for a vehicle body, for example in trucks. The problem with vehicle bodies is that they are exposed to the weather and become contaminated, so that blind holes can easily become blocked. In addition, there is a need in vehicle bodies to implement the functionality of a spring break safety device in a very compact design so that the loading volume and an opening to the loading area are not restricted.

In the US 2006/0185800 A1 discloses a braking device for a garage door which can lock the garage door if a compensating spring is damaged. For this purpose, a pivotable locking lever is provided, which is insertable into slots in a locking wheel.

The EP 803 626 A1 discloses a lifting device for a vertically movable gate, with a driven reel which is coupled to a motor via an intermediate element. The intermediate member is attached to a fixed bracket of the reel-up with a certain rotational play and a pawl is arranged near the reel-up in order to be able to pivot into a certain position, in which it interacts with a stop of the reel-up if the intermediate member interacts due to a failure the gate retention device rotates.

It is therefore an object of the present invention to provide a vehicle body with a sectional door in which a reliable and compact spring break device is provided.

This object is achieved with a vehicle body with the features of claim 1.

The vehicle body according to the invention comprises a sectional door, in which a spring breakage protection is provided on a spring shaft, which has a pinion connected to the spring shaft and a pivotable pretensioned locking lever which can be brought into engagement with the pinion to lock a rotary movement of the spring, one end of which Spring is held on an adapter which is pivotally held on a holder and keeps the locking lever disengaged from the pinion in a position biased by the spring and releases the locking lever when the spring breaks so that it can be brought into engagement with the pinion. This allows the spring shaft and the sectional door to be fixed mechanically reliably in the event of a spring break, since the adapter can be pivoted from a position in which the locking lever is blocked in order to bring the locking lever into engagement with the pinion, so that a tension spring, the locking lever reliably ensures that the spring shaft is fixed. This mechanical solution can reliably fix the sectional door even when there is considerable vibration during operation, even if the components are exposed to weather conditions and contamination during operation. In addition, the spring break protection can be designed in a particularly compact design.

According to the invention, the adapter has an opening in which the pinion is received. As a result, the pinion and the adapter, viewed in the longitudinal direction of the spring shaft, can be arranged essentially in the same plane. For a reliable mounting of the adapter, it has two arc-shaped elongated holes, into each of which a bolt is inserted for mounting the adapter. The adapter can then be rotated from a first position, in which the locking lever is locked, into a release position, in which the locking lever engages with the pinion.

For a simple fixation of the spring break protection, a holder can be of an angular design, with a first section of the holder being fixed to an upper panel of the vehicle body.

The holder is arranged in a central region of the spring shaft and has a bushing for the spring shaft. As a result, a spring shaft can be fixed with only a single spring break protection, even if torsional forces are applied to both ends of the spring shaft by cable drums.

In a further embodiment of the invention, the pinion has an opening for the passage of the spring shaft, so that the pinion and possibly the adapter are held captively on the spring shaft.

For a particularly compact construction, the locking lever is arranged in a receptacle between the adapter and a section of the holder. The locking lever can be rotatably mounted on an axis on the section of the holder and biased towards the pinion by a tension spring be. As a result, the spring break protection can be preassembled on the holder.

The spring shaft is preferably connected on opposite sides to a cable drum for pulling up the panels of the sectional door. When the locking lever engages in the pinion, the spring shaft can preferably still be rotated in one direction in order to pull up the panels. The spring shaft is locked in the opposite direction by the locking lever.

A vehicle body, not shown, for example in the case of a truck, comprises a loading space which is closed at the rear by a sectional door 1. The remaining components of the vehicle body, the side walls, the ceiling and the floor have been omitted here for the sake of simplicity.

The sectional door 1 comprises a plurality of panels 2 which are pivotably mounted on one another and which are guided on opposite sides via running parts 3. Again Figure 2 can be removed, each barrel part 3 is provided with a bearing into which an axis 4 with a roller 5 is inserted. The rollers 5 of the running parts 3 serve to guide the panels 2 along a guide which has a vertical guide rail 6 and a horizontal guide rail 70 which are connected to one another via an arcuate section 8. In Figure 3 the guidance of the vertical guide rail 6 and the upper horizontal guide rail 70 is shown, in which the rollers 5 of the running parts 3 are guided. As a result, the panels 2 of the sectional door can be moved from a vertical position, in which an opening is closed, to a horizontal position in the upper region of the vehicle body in order to expose a loading opening.

To move the panels 2, a spring shaft 7 is mounted on an upper rigid panel 12, which is connected to a cable drum 15 on opposite sides. A rope 40 is wound onto the rope drum 15 ( Figure 2 ), which is fixed to the bottom panel 2 via a cable anchor plate 41, so that the sectional door can be pulled up by rotating the cable drum 15.

In order to mechanically support the lifting of the sectional door, a spring 10 is provided on the spring shaft 7, wherein a plurality of springs 10 can also be provided distributed over the length of the spring shaft 7. The spring 10 is designed as a torsion spring and is arranged in a central region of the spring shaft 7. One end of the spring 10 is fixed to a holder 11 which is fixed to the panel 12. The opposite end of the spring 10 is fixed to a spring break device 13 which is arranged on a holder 14. The spring shaft 7 is fixed adjacent to the cable drums 15 via bearings 9 on the uppermost panel 12.

In the Figures 5A to 5C the spring break safety device 13 is shown. The spring break safety device 13 is held on an angular holder 14 which is fixed to the uppermost panel 12 with a first section 24. On the second section 25 projecting from the panel 12, an adapter 21 is pivotally mounted, in which a pinion 16 is received. The pinion 16 is non-rotatably connected to the spring shaft 7 and has on its outer circumference a plurality of teeth 17 which are oriented at an angle to the radial and can be brought into engagement with a pawl 19 of a locking lever 18. The locking lever 18 is rotatably mounted on the protruding section 25 and is biased towards the pinion 16 via a spring (not shown).

A bushing 26 for the spring shaft 7 is formed on the projecting section 25 of the holder 14, so that the spring shaft is passed through an opening 27 and the bushing 26.

Der Sperrhebel 18 verrastet dann jeweils an den Zähnen 17 des Ritzels 16.The adapter 21 has an opening 28 in which the pinion 16 is inserted. On opposite sides of the adapter 21, arcuate elongated holes 22 are recessed into which a bolt 33 for inserting the adapter 21 in a pivotable manner is inserted. One end of the spring 10 is fixed to the adapter 21 so that it is in a locking position in which the locking lever 18 is held out of engagement by the pinion 16. If the spring 10 breaks, no more force is exerted on the adapter 21, so that it can pivot relative to the holder 14, so that the locking lever 18 engages with the pinion 16 by the force of a tension spring, so that the pinion 16 is locked against rotation in a first direction, but can be rotated in an opposite second direction. This prevents the panels 2 of the sectional door 1 from falling off, while the panels 2 can be raised in the opposite direction by rotating the spring shaft 7. The locking lever 18 then latches on the teeth 17 of the pinion 16.

In Figure 6 the spring break safety device 13 is shown in detail. The pinion 16 is received in the opening 28 of the adapter 21 and has means for the rotationally fixed fixing of the spring shaft 7, in particular by means of screws or bolts. It can also be seen that the adapter 21 has a receptacle for the locking lever 18 adjacent to the opening 28. A side wall of the receptacle forms a stop 29 which acts in the locking position on the locking lever 18 in order to keep it out of engagement with the pinion 16 in a position. The locking lever 18 is received between a portion 25 of the holder 14 and the adapter 21 protected.

The bolts 33 are sleeve-shaped and are fixed to the section 25 by means of screws 23. As a result, the adapter 21 can be pivoted along the bolts 33 via the arcuate elongated holes 22.

The locking lever 18 is rotatably mounted on the section 25 of the holder 14, for which purpose an opening 34 is formed in the locking lever 18, into which sleeves 20 and 31 are inserted, which are penetrated by a screw 30 which extends into an opening 32 of the section 25 is inserted. The locking lever 18 can thus be pivoted about the axis formed by the sleeves 20 and 31 and is biased to the pinion 16 by a spring, not shown here. A portion of the locking lever 18 lies against the stop 29 of the adapter in the unlocked position, and when the adapter 21 is pivoted, the locking lever 18 is pivoted toward the pinion, so that the locking pawl 19 comes into engagement with the teeth 17.

In the illustrated embodiment, only one spring 10 is arranged along the spring shaft 7. It is also possible to position a plurality of springs 10 along the spring shaft 7, in which case a spring break device 13 according to FIGS Figures 5 and 6 can be provided.
