Anschließend wird der Umhüllungsstreifen weiter um den Strang herumgeschlagen, bis sich die Ränder des Umhüllungsstreifens überlappen. Die Randseiten des Umhüllungsstreifens werden dann durch Ausüben einer geringen Andruckkraft und/oder thermischer Energie über die Leimnaht miteinander verklebt, so dass der Strang anschließend im Querschnitt durch den Umhüllungsstreifen formfixiert ist. Alternativ kann die Leimspur auch in Form von Leimpunkten mit einem bestimmten Abstand aufgetragen werden, was z.B. bei einem Anhaften der Filtersegmente bei einer Unterbeleimung der Fall ist. Die Leimpunkte und das Towmaterial werden in diesem Fall in der Mitte auf den Umhüllungsstreifen an einer Stelle weit vor dem Umschlagen des Umhüllungsstreifens aufgebracht, und dienen zu einer Vorfixierung der Filtersegmente an dem Umhüllungsstreifen. (3-8g)/600m Stranglänge für die Fixierung des den Tabak fixierenden Umhüllungsstreifens und eine Leimauftragsmenge von ca. 10 bis 30 g/600m Stranglänge für die Fixierung eines Umhüllungsstreifens eines Filterstranges, wobei die Stranggeschwindigkeit ca. 200 bis über 600 m/min beträgt. Ein weiterer Vorteil der Erfindung liegt darin, dass, sofern das Abstreifteil verschlissen ist, und die Leimspur nicht mehr der geforderten Qualität entspricht, es möglich ist, das Abstreifteil als Einzelteil auszutauschen.     - a nozzle (2) which is fixed with respect to the covering strip (1) during the application of the glue track (6), wherein
    - a roller (4) which is rotationally drivable by means of a driving device is provided between the covering strip (1) and the outlet opening (3) of the nozzle (2), the glue being applied to said roller by means of the nozzle (2),
    and wherein the roller (4) applies the glue in the form of the glue track (6) directly to the covering strip (1),
    characterised in that
    - a stripping member (7) directed at the roller (4) is provided in the direction of rotation of the roller (4) between the nozzle (2) and the covering strip (1), said stripping member being at a distance from the roller (4), and
    - the stripping member (7) is at a distance of 0.01 to 0.1 mm from the roller (4).
  2. Device according to Claim 1, characterised in that
    - the distance between the stripping member (7) and the roller (4) is modifiable.
  3. Device according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that
    - the stripping member (7) is drivable in an oscillating manner by means of a driving device parallel to the rotational axis (11) of the roller (4).
  4. Device according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that
    - the stripping member (7) and/or the roller (4) in the surface which comes into contact with the glue has/have at least one cavity (13) and/or elevation (14).
  5. Device according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that
    - multiple stripping members (7) are provided, which are arranged distributed over the circumference of the roller (4).
  6. Device according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that
