Panes of the sashes, in the areas of adherence thereof to the frames, may be circumferentially painted or may comprise self-adhesive cover labels that improve decorative effect of a window or door assembly and may be produced in various colors and patterns. A choice of an appropriate coloring on the glass strip of a window or door assembly frame additionally improves a visual effect of such a window or door assembly.
